Finally tried their special lunch menu today! The lunch set came with the appetiser+main+rice+drink. Not something astonishing but not bad - the taste and portion are average and the price is quite reasonable.

The sour and pickled fish dish at this restaurant is quite worth the price, with a taste that's not exceptional but also not bad. Their specialty drinks are also pretty good. 呢間餐廳嘅酸菜魚都幾抵食,味道嚟講不過不失。佢啲特色飲品都幾唔錯。

You have to give this place a try. Great flavours, price and service. We had the fish in soup for 2 and I highly recommend it!

Amazing soup place! I've gotten takeout twice from this restaurant, and it's mostly because I really like their packaging! They have custom takeout containers and super cute branded reusable bags they give with each order! Their fish stew, like their namesake is so incredibly delicious! The fish pieces fill the inside of the stew and is packed full of flavour. I cannot stress how incredibly impressed I am with this restaurant. Their portions and price are actually pretty great and super worth it! The regular size stew is enough for 2 modest meals in my opinion, while the jumbo can easily be split to 4 meals! The jumbo is +$7 (roughly 1.5 times the regular price) so definitely getting your value. I measured the volume of the jumbo--at the under-filled-looking level--and it's a bit over 2x the soup in a regular. So great value! I highly recommend you try this fish stew! It's delicious and cozy, perfect for a winter day!

Came here for lunch and had their large Tomato Flavoured Soup Base with Basa and added Napa cabbage and enoki mushrooms. We also ordered the signature pumpkin BBQ basa fish. Each came with a bowl of rice. This was enough for 3 people to share. Flavours were excellent and tasted really good. Would definitely come back and try other dishes.

Mr. Fish Ratings: 3.9/5 Food: 4.25/5 - I have something similar when I visited China back in 2019, so I was excited to try out Mr. Fish. I am a big fan of Szechuan food, but my boyfriend can't really hand it. The dish we got was very flavorful and delicious, and we devoured it very quickly. This is the place to go on a cold winter night, and their broth cures everything and will warm you up. You can see the description of the dish we got to share below for more detail. - House Sauerkraut Fish Stew [GET]: The fish was so tender, soft, and fresh, and there's a decent portion of fish in it, definitely more than I expected. I can taste the flavors from the broth into the fish as well, so well-prepared for sure. The broth was absolutely amazing. I love the pickled cabbage a lot, added this acidic flavor to the dish, very refreshing and delicious. I just wished it's sourer and stronger in flavors, HAHA, missing a punch. It wasn't spicy or numbing, since my boyfriend can't handle it. The ingredients and veggies were fresh and well-cooked. Make sure to soak the rice into the broth, so good! Ambiance: 3.75/5 - Interior is super well lit, bright, and neat, although it's not too big, but we didn't feel tight at all. It's quite and a great spot for couples or a small group of friends to grab dinner. There's a ton of seating available with tables and booths. The only thing was the plates and silverwares weren't clean thoroughly, and some still have some stains on it. I love the cute decor they have at that time with flags and soccer balloons hanging on the walls for the World Cup. Price: 4.25/5 - We got the house sauerkraut fish stew for $14.95 and opted in for a large size for $7 extra. We added some spam, enoki mushrooms, and napa cabbage for $1.99 each, and an additional bowl of rice as well. My boyfriend treated me for dinner, and I think the total for the two of us came up to be around $35, which is not bad at all. We wished there were more veggies though, but we were quite satisfied and full! Service: 3.5/5 - We came around 8PM, and there were two staffs eating dinner at the moment. They didn't engage us or really come over to our table until I called them over for some questions. I asked about the dishes, and after that he return to his table and started eating his dinner again. We end up ordering it via mobile, and they brought out the food once it's ready. Not the best service for sure and wished that they were more polite and thoughtful, since we are their customers. Not many interactions afterwards. BLUF: Surprisingly good flavors and tender fish meats! I can't say it's as good as the ones I've had in China, but it gets the job done. It was such as hearty and comforting meal that we were both so happy afterwards. If you cannot handle spicy, definitely go with the house fish stew and make sure to add some napa cabbage, since they are the best veggies to soak up the broth. I would return one day and make my boyfriend try out the spicy ones.

Chanced upon this new seafood spot on Yonge near Finch. I love seafood but know it's not the best cold, so made a note to get delivery from Mr. Fish one day. Well, that day was today, and it was perfect timing since it's biting cold outside. My wife and I got different types of their fish stew (their signature one and a lemon based one). A tad pricey, but they were nice and warm, the portion sizes were huge, the fish was tender, there was a heaping of noodles, and we loved the add-on quail eggs. If we had only one quibble, it's that the broth could have had a bit more flavour. Maybe next time, we'll try the regular spice version (instead of the mild). And yes, there will be a next time with Mr. Fish. We loved the stew, and will definitely work our way through the rest of the menu.

Tomato Angus Steak Roll Stew (top) & House Sauerkraut Fish Stew (bottom). Both were superrrrr tasty!!

I've always craved sauerkraut fish stew especially with variations and lots of tasty side dishes to pair with. This is my go-to for the lemon-sauerkraut fish stew and one order can feed up to 2 people and comes with a huge bowl of plain white rice! HUGE! Most of the stars from this review were based on my dine-in experience, I'm sure takeout would be a better option for our situation now!

Signature basa fish and chili clams/bullfrog
    Christina Q.

Sichuan cuisine at Yonge and Finch! We tried the Signature basa fish and chili sauce clams and bullfrog. Both dishes came with a side of rice. The signaure fish comes with sauerkraut, glass noodles and wood ear mushroom. A little bit sour, savoury and oily. I also asked for it extra spciy hence the heaping amount of sichuan pepercorn and dried chilis. Personally, not a huge fan of the numbing pepercorn, hence I wouldnt order it again. The chili clams and bullfrog were delicious! Nice and savoury. Reminds of the sauce from famous chili crab spots.

Oops ate all the fish already!! Got too excited before I took a pic.

One can easily be shared between 2 people. Given the size, the price is very reasonable. Basically the same price as a tea at one of the very many surrounding tea shops. The interior is bright, warm, and lively. It is a cute cafe style restaurant serving various Sichuan eats. This review however, will be solely based on their desserts as we came for just that. Their dessert section is quite small. Most of the items were sold out. We got a sparkling lychee soda,, an almond tofu soup, white fungus & jujube soup, and coconut milk and jelly. The white fungus dessert was so good. It had a syrupy consistency and the soup was not very sweet. It had a nice herbal scent. The almond soup isn't my favourite, but was quite refreshing. The lychee drink was very refreshing, I highly recommend if you love lychee. The coconut dessert was super rich and creamy. I really enjoyed eating the jelly bits. Overall, the desserts themselves were so refreshing and light!

I've been dealing with some dental pain, and my partner is just getting over a nasty cold, so we wanted something gentle, nourishing, and easy on the body - not a heavy, greasy brunch. Bonjuk's whole vibe of "comfort food with heart" really delivered. We'd only done takeout before, so this was our first time dining in. The space is small but really welcoming - warm lighting, clean and simple decor, and comfortable seating that makes you want to slow down and relax. It's not a huge place, so there aren't tons of indoor seats, but that also gives it a cozy, intimate feel. Service was friendly and low‑pressure, which we appreciated when we were both feeling a bit under the weather. We ordered the Chicken Porridge ($23) and the Beef Bulgogi Bibimbap ($24), both for dine‑in (prices don't include tax and tip). The chicken porridge was savoury, and soothing, with a rich broth that felt healing without being heavy. It was easy to eat with my sore teeth and left me feeling comforted, not stuffed. The beef bulgogi bibimbap was a nice contrast - colourful, fresh, and full of flavour. The bulgogi was sweet, the rice was perfectly cooked, and the mix of veggies and egg made it feel like a balanced, healthy meal. It's definitely a step up from typical brunch fare if you're looking for something lighter but still satisfying. One thing that really stood out was their baby porridge menu. It's such a thoughtful touch - separate, gentle, low‑salt options for little ones. As someone who's seen new parents struggle to find safe, easy meals out, this felt genuinely helpful and kind. It's easy to see why their marketing feels like they actually care about making food that's good for people, not just trendy. If you're looking for the best value, I'd say go for takeaway. We noticed a steady stream of takeout orders, and the overall costs are slightly lower that way, especially when there are discounts offered by different order platform. Overall, Bonjuk Canada is a good spot when you want something comforting, healthy, and easy on the stomach - whether you're recovering from illness, have dental issues, or just want a more mindful brunch.

(NGL~ i wanted to try it earlier but i always see a line and i just gave up) I went in on a Sunday Afternoon, wasnt too busy so i felt lucky! There arent as many food items to choose from comparing to other Thai Reso so do check the menu before coming I got the beef tom yum soup noodles (rice noodles) and the Pad See Ew. It took around 10 minutes for the food to be served (not slow but wont say fast). Flavor was good, relatively more on the saltier/favorable side. Tom yum soup was more on the tangy(sour-y) side but still tasted good. The beef brisket was kinda hard to choose, but it wasn't for all the pieces, so the good ones were nice and tender, but some i just had to spit it out Overall 4/5.
