    Free crispy fish skins
    Shigei H.

This was our first time visiting this spot, the dining hall is far better than Markham one. Service was excellent, apart from free crispy fish skin, there's 10% off if pay by cash. The fish skin was served warm only but still crispy, there were big chunks of good quality fish served on soup noodles. The grilled chicken rice was very plain, I remember their Markham venue served the dish with some scallions on top which's much nicer, but the grilled chickens were tasty.

Spacious and very friendly service. Love the stamps system to collect a stamp for every $10 spent. Fish is fresh and big chuck on fish noodle soup. I love the original, pumpkin and tomato flavours. Baked rice with pork chop and deep fried chicken leg were surprisingly great! It becomes my family lunch spot on weekend.

Delicious fish noodles soup and fish and chips shop. They use grouper for everything and it's amazing prepared in soup or fried. They also have clay pot rice but heads up there is a wait of 20mins. Very spacious seatings and plenty of parking, This is not affiliated with the shop from Markham but serving similar items.

N11, the hot and spicy beef brisket noodle soup has become my go-to bowl of noodles here. Spicier than laksa but oh so addicting. Lots of big tender chunks of brisket! My friend ordered claypot rice. It had the crispy rice on the bottom and there was a lot of meat running through his bowl. He did say that it was kinda oily and rich though from all those preserved meats. We've finally also tried the molten custard toast and the diced french toast bites. I personally like the diced toast bites more as the dish is easier to share. It was also less sweet than the molten brick toast. 10% off if you have cash or a VIP card!

Had to come try this place after having a good experience at the Wugu on kennedy. Menu is expanded from the kennedy menu with clay pot. The interior is newer and feels like alot more seating than the Markham shop. Service was fast and even at full occupancy. Fried octopus tentacles - Something you'd get at dimsum. Lightly breaded but fried well, so slight crispy exterior and chewy from the octopus. Seasoned well, would get again. Salted fried tofu - One of my favourite dishes if done well. Tofu was crispy, but seasoning was not well mixed. some bites were overly spicy and salty while some were lacking flavour. Skip. Hot and spicy beef brisket soup - Interesting soup base was still fish base, but with beef brisket. Beef brisket was a bit too chewy, and requires a bit more braising. Soup was too spicy for me. Nice to try. Preserved Meats and Pork Rib Clay Pot Rice - Good amount of proteins. They used one of those korean stone pot bowls vs a clay pot. Rice was soggy, too much water. Nice to try. Overall large portion sizes and good attentive service. Would come by and try their original soups.

Ordered the N2 and N3. The pumpkin flavour from the N3 is subtle and sweet. You can definitely taste the sweetness from the N3 compared to the N2. N2 was not too spicy. A good amount of spice for me. N2 has the peppery and milky broth. Both noodle soups has generous portions of the grouper fish, which was weighty and delicious! At the end of the meal, they will give you a stamp card. 1 stamp for every $10 spent before tax. Once you collect 10 stamps, you get a free snack. 5% off if you pay with cash. Interior looks like it's newly renovated.

Ordered the Fresh Tomato Soup for takeout. It might not look like a lot of food, but it is actually pretty filling. However, I find the fish to be a little bit overcooked. Service was pretty fast, even though it was dinner time. Ambiance: they had some small tables so they easily turn them into bigger tables easily. They had some posters for decorations.

Visited this newly opened spot on a Monday around 6 PM. The restaurant has clearly been recently renovated, hence it was clean, bright, and with decent seating. We were a group of five and comfortably seated in a booth designed for six, which gave us plenty of room. Menus were provided at the table, but I appreciated that they also offer a QR code option for ordering. It's a small touch, but convenient for those who prefer digital menus. We ordered a few dishes to try a bit of everything. The noodle soup stood out with its rich, flavorful, and creamy broth. It was not too salty, which I liked. There was an impressive amount of tofu and some cabbage, but what really surprised me was the generous portion of fish. The texture of The fish was quite firm. The baked chicken rice, unfortunately, wasn't a hit. The sauce tasted heavily of ketchup and lacked the depth or cheesiness I was expecting. The deep-fried squid tentacles came in decent portions with a nice crispy breading, though they leaned a bit greasy. The pork intestine was just okay. I'm glad it was paired with white radish, but overall I wouldn't order it again. We also tried the choy, which came in a generous portion but was otherwise unremarkable. On a sweeter note, the diced French toast was a highlight. They were perfect two-bite sized, crispy, warm, and generously topped with condensed milk and fresh strawberry slices. A satisfying end to the meal. As for drinks, the iced Hong Kong milk tea was only average. The flavor wasn't as bold or balanced as I'd hoped. Service throughout was friendly and attentive. Overall, there are definitely some menu hits and a few misses. I would consider returning to try more menu items but I don't think I'll be a frequent customer.

I haven't been in this plaza ever since Super Pho closed down, but someone recommended this place, so decided to check it out. I was surprised at how many people were in the restaurant for a Thursday night. We quickly got seated, but the tables were packed and super close to each other. We got the original, sweet and spicy and fried squid as a snack. I liked all of them and the portions were hugeeee. The noodles came with a lot of fresh groupers too. The grandma next to us gave us a rundown of whats good and not good haha. She suggested we try the claypot rice because it's decent size and to avoid the tomato soup base. A friend also told us to avoid the tomato base. She said they offer a free bowl of noodles for every bowl, so you could if you're hungry! There were lots of waitresses and servers but it seemed like some of them didnt know what was going on. One forgot to give a stamp card until I asked and the other gave the change to the wrong table lol They take cash or debit and you get a stamp for a free snack.

It was extremely not busy on a Saturday evening. We made reservations and were seated at the door although many tables were free. Service was quick. The menu is located on a QR code - we recommend you asking for a menu as there are more comprehensive pictures and descriptions of the food. Tomato fish soup - so many pieces of grouper. The soup was flavorful and noodles were perfect Pumpkin fish soup - again tons of fish. Broth had flavors of preserved vegetables and fish. Not very pumpkin like. Soup is not thick. Minced pork and salted fish clay pot rice - ok this was worth the wait and super yummy. You get that crispy rice at the bottom of the pot and just enough salt to make the dish super appetizing. Chicken wings and fries - taste like Costco fries. Chicken wings have an interesting flavour to it. This is prob my least favourite dish. Really good portions though and you can ask for a second serving of noodles for free with your noodle dish!

Love coming here - great value and I always leave satisfied. My go to is the OG fish soup that comes with giant chunks of fish and grained noodles (you can refill 1 bowl of noodles). Don't forget to get a stamp card as well to collect a free appetizer!

A simple noodle shop and become one of my favorite noodle spots when I'm craving a warm bowl of noodles. The fish broth is very flavourful and comforting, especially on a cold day. It's casual, convenient, and perfect for a quick satisfying meal. The service is quick and friendly, and the portions are huge and generous, making it great value for the price.

We ordered takeout. This place took over Super Bowl Pho that closed down. The entrance is now on the side. There are signs that point you to the entrance so you can't miss it. The spots facing Yonge are filled but the parking lot where the entrance is plentiful. Ambiance - 3/5: they roughly kept the same set up as the old place in terms of placement of seats. This is their second location. Their main location is at 14th/Kennedy. I haven't been but I've been told the menu is quite different there. The furniture/seats are new. They have posters/canvases up but they are just purely decorations. Service - 5/5: very quick despite it being dinner time. It was early dinner but they still had a good 50% of the tables filled with customers. I only waited for about 10-15 minutes before getting my order. If you pay in cash, you get a 5% discount. They only accept debit or cash. For every $10 you spend, you get a stamp. Once you reach 10 stamps, you can redeem a snack. Food - 3/5: the food was surprisingly weighted. Most of the weight came from the soups itself. We ordered their pumpkin seafood (N5) and fresh tomato soup (N6). The pumpkin soup base feels watered down. I don't taste the pumpkin in it. It's just yellow colored, thin fish broth. The broth itself was flavourful but once you add on the rest of ingredients, it somehow turned overall bland. It is pepper forward with a slight sour note from the pickled vegetable. The noodles ate intersting - came in 3 different colous (white, yellow and gray). The colors made no difference in taste or texture (if that was the intent). It comes with a decent amount of nicely sized groupa chunks, a few chopped up pieces of romaine lettuce, 1 shell-on white shrimp and 2 mussels. It also came with fresh, small cubes of tofu. I'm so impressed and thankful that the tofu still tasted fresh. I generally avoid ordering tofu dishes in the summer as tofu goes bad very easily and becomes sour. The groupa itself is skin on and I think they did a decent job in removing the scales. That was salted - perhaps to get a firmer texture? It was slightly overcooked in my opinion. I eat the skin so it didn't bother me. They did a good job in taking out the shrimp vein. Since white shrimps don't have a firm texture, it felt overall mushy. Unfortunately, they did not remove the foot of the mussels so I bit into sand and a string of chewiness. I learned from the 1st one so I removed it for the 2nd one before eating it. Overall: 3.5/5 - I do not recommend the pumpkin seafood. I've been recommended to stick to their original fish soup (N1). If I go back, I will try that instead.

The menu here is reasonably priced for the HK cafe food that's available till 5pm. We were impressed by the huge portions & surprisingly good flavours. Curry Beef Brisket Rice was stewed well to achieve really tender tendons. These are still two of our go-to dishes here. There will be a dessert after the meal, a bowl of tofu flower for each person. That dessert is a true hidden gem. Silky smooth and moderate sweetness and perfect warmth. We ended up getting the ham macaroni soup with a cheese ham sandwich combo, along with the O Street signature beef sandwich and fries from their new menu. Despite how busy it was on a Saturday, the food came out at a pretty reasonable speed, which I appreciated. The macaroni soup was just okay, very much the kind of simple comfort food that fills you up, but nothing especially memorable. I was most excited for the signature beef sandwich, but it didn't fully meet my expectations. The burger/sandwich itself was smaller than I imagined, and it only had about 2-3 pieces of beef brisket inside with marinated bell peppers and their homemade sauce. The sauce leaned sweeter than expected, which might work for some people, but personally I was hoping for something more savoury and more generous with the beef. However, the brisket was tender, which was a win... ish. Overall, still a decent spot if you're craving classic HK cafe vibes and variety, especially for a casual meal with family.
