This was a lunch stop on our drive back home from Houston to Atlanta. My daughter got intrigued when she saw their billboard. I obliged & got off the interstate. When we walked through the door I noticed two things. The people were friendly and the lettuce looked extremely fresh. The pizza was what you'd expect from a quick pizza buffet, but they were switching them out regularly . So they were always hot and fresh. They also offered to make any pizza we wanted hot and fresh for us. The salad bar was as fresh and good as it looked. I also tried macaroni and cheese pizza by accident. That's something I never intended to do, but it was surprisingly good. And the staff continued to be as helpful and friendly as they seemed. I'm glad we stopped. read more

My hubby spotted a billboard on the i10 freeway while traveling from CA to GA. He had been to a Mr. Gatti's while being in the military. He stated he hadn't seen one in a long time. We stopped by. First impression was the staff greeting us upon walking in. The girl that took our payment thanked us a couple of times. After working for my parents and them instilling in us proper service I'm all about the good customer service when I'm the customer. I read all the previous reviews and we (my hubby & I) believe that all the reviews should have an expiration date. One complaint was about the soda fountain which is now a different machine that was clean. The pizza was delicious and moist. My favorites were the jalapeño and pepperoni, the garlic bread and the crumble apple pie. I also liked that they had diet Dr. pepper. The whole establishment was nice and clean and even the customers eating smiled at us when going to sit to eat. Over all I'm giving them a 5 star they don't deserve the current rating. We are definitely coming back on our next road trip. read more

The cleanest Gatti's I have ever been to! I hope at the annual Mr. Gatti's convention (if they have one) this owner gets recognition for how great their restaurant is presented and looks! Beautiful woodwork decor along the walls, its a true testament of how much they love their establishment. Well we are so happy to have stopped by on our way back to Texas. Pizza was dry and basically terrible, only thing worth eating was the dessert pizzas. My wife ordered a specific pizza when we came in and it was never made. We were just passing through on our way to Texas and saw their signs...and wish we hadnt. read more

My only complaint is the drink machine! Taste disgusting. It's one of those coke machines where all the drinks come out the same spout. I'm not sure if they don't clean it like their supposed to. Once I went and drink machine was nasty and didn't look cleaned in a week, not sure if it's properly cleaned but need to step the game up. Only pizza buffet around to my knowledge . Gatti's Pizza used to be a staple every where you go. Now there are select cities that you can find this gem. I'm from an area that doesn't have a Gatti's. The closest one is a 2 hour drive. I was traveling up from Baton Rouge. I was excited to stop and get pizzas and spaghetti for my family back home. This particular location was fast with my order. It had a cute decor. It was clean. This was one of the cleanest Mr. Gatti's I've ever been to. The staff was friendly and asked if I wanted a specific pizza made. I took them up on the offer and it was delicious. They had a large selection of pizzas ready. The salad bar was neat and clean. You can have just about any style and flavor soft drink thanks to the two coke your way dispensers. It's a buffet pizza place, don't expect it to be great! For kids is great cause their taste buds aren't refined yet and they love the arcade!!! For kids this is awesome! For parents it great to tire out your kids and feed them cheaply... arcade will increase your spending..! I'd give zero or minus stars if it was allowed. Absolutely the worst place ever. Placed a pizza order to go over the phone. Got their, gave them my name and phone number and was told they didn't have and order for me. Called the same number, watched them answer the phone, asked about my order while still in the lobby and was told they were closed for the night. DO NOT EAT HERE EVER!!! Food is always good. They have a pizza buffet with salad bar and spaghetti or you can order the items off the menu for dine in, to go or delivery. They also have sandwiches on the menu if you dont eat pizza. My favorite is the cajun sausage pizza and the BBQ chicken is good too. If you dont see your favorite pizza on the bar ask them to make it for you, they have always accommodated me, even special requests like no cheese. Drinks and buffet are self serve and you can make as many trips as you want. If you have kids they have a game room. read more
