I've been here many times!! The dinning area has a old world/ sports bar feel, there is a back area where you can have larger parties. We have used that as a ladies nite out when our group gets above 10. The service is always excellent! The owner comes and checks on the tables too! Super nice! I've had all the salads! My fav is the spinach with grilled shrimp! The portions are generous and I need a take home box more often than not! I regularly order the crustless pizza! They are hard to find. Always delicious! Try the seafood pizza, it's really good. The roasted garlic, onions, shrimp and crabmeat are delicious on this pizza. I'll be back.

So this is a very unassuming place. From the out side you have no idea what is in store for you. The first think we noticed was the smell of fresh made dough when we walked in. There was a small crowd inside enjoying the food. The staff was short handed but we got our food in an orderly fashion. We had the meatballs for appetizer they were so good. Main corse we ordered pizza large works and small shrimp with pepperoni and apple wood smoked bacon. I have not had real pizza like this in a long time. I went back to this restaurant today and must say my experience declined rapidly, from the service to the food. The rating I gave it now (four stars) is indicative of the combined reviews. For this visit would give them a two or three star rating. First, the pizza I had was amazing the other day. Came back with the intention of getting a meatball sub, and should've stayed home.... Or gone to taco bell down the road. In addition to the dismal food the service was somewhat blech and lackluster, nothing like it was the other day. The meatball sub missed the beat by a long long ways. They used the little tiny meatballs that get from the store. Then they put some type of red sauce on there with almost no flavor. The roll which housed everything, along with the cheese, was OK. My beef, or lack of it, was mostly the taste and the plentiful, but tiny, meatballs. The wait staff seemed to have declined rapidly also with not much checking to see how everything was going. Will come back again, for pizza, but staying away from their other food. read more

I ordered last night the Amores Super Special on thin crust but it wasn't thin and hard like most and it was fresh and hot and the owner was so accommodating The service is the BEST in Louisiana the very best. I give this place 5 stars bc of how consistent they've been. We've gone many times with the kids and everyone has been happy. My husband always gets their pepperoni pizza. He's a picky guy with his crusts and their pan crust is pretty crispy and fluffy. I get their veggie pizza with wheat crust and it's AMAZING. I don't feel so guilty with this pizza bc it's not greasy and they don't stuff it with cheese. I love this place! The pizzas are always wonderful! The owner, Mike, makes the dough every day. It is awesome. Every pizza I have had has been consistent and delicious. You can even get seafood pizzas! They have a lunch buffet which is very good and has a great variety. The salad bar has a lot of extras you don't normally see and you can get Cesar dressing (which is my favorite). This is the best pizza you can get in Abbeville and the surrounding area, including Lafayette. It's not the cheapest, but it is THE BEST! And, Mike, the owner is a character. My husband, myself and my 18 month old all got an intestinal bacteria infection from the food here on 7/10/20. My daughter ended up in the hospital for 3 days and could have very well died if we didn't take her in when we did. We ordered a meatza pizza, an order of cheesy bread, and an amore super special pizza. I called the restaurant this morning and spoke directly to the owner and told him I wasn't looking to get my money back and that I only wanted to inform him so no one else gets sick. He did say he would refund my money and I appreciate that, but couldn't at the very least apologize about my daughter or the fact that my husband and I also got sick or assure me he would look into the problem and correct it so no other patrons get sick from this place. It has been one week since and my family is still suffering with this infection. Never eating here again. read more
