If you get your pizza fresh when it comes out, I think it tastes best. I am a fan of nice cheesy cheese and I usually eat veggie pizza. I asked if they have margarita pizza but the closest they said they had was a fiesta pizza which was pretty good. I got a veggie pizza with no olives on a thin crust and that was better. I got macaroni and cheese, cheese bread and cheese pizza for my kids (6&8). They liked their food. It's decent quality compared to what you would expect from an all you can eat pizza buffet. Have always loved gattis. It's a 90s thing that has. Le become nostalgic and I now take my kids here. However, this last visit we spend 46 dollars on me and my husband and two kids. The baby was free. The price has jumped a lot. We used to pay 20 bucks for me and my husband. Now our kids are nearly 9 bucks for there buffet. They do not eat enough to justify this. My 4 year old ate ONLY Mac n cheese. So we really paid 9 dollars for her to eat basic Mac n cheese. We probably won't be able to come back at this rate at least not for a while. It's not worth it for the little our kids eat. I will say the staff at this location is great and always has been nice. read more

I ordered two medium pizzas. A cheese with olive and a cheese with pepperoni and sausage. I wasn't expecting much since it's a buffet place with games and stuff but dang, my pizzas were good. Very little grease and the cheese was golden brown. Every pizza I've had since moving to maryville has been over the top greasy or some other issue. I'll come back to this place for sure. read more

What can I say, this is a great place to bring the kids after a long week. The pizza, salad bar and deserts are pretty good, and of course the games are a blast too. Yes, it's a tad pricey, but it's buffet style so come hungry! My only complaint is there isn't enough hand sanitizer available considering all of the game machines on the floor. read more

I really enjoy coming here! It saddens me that there aren't many Gatti's restaurants left. It's a wonderful place for families and birthday parties. The prices are slightly high in my opinion, but not high enough to make me stop coming. The pizza is yummy and very original to the restaurant. I went here tonight with my husband and it was all good! You walk in and order for a buffet meal and you can add a drink. They give you a couple of plates and a couple of tongs, so that way you are only touching the tongs they have you instead of everyone touching the same tongs to get pizza. We loaded our plates up of pizza and cheese sticks. It was all really good. They were constantly making pizza and trying to keep the buffet full. I was impressed by how many request pizzas they made! Good place to bring the kids when you want to go out for pizza. They got the big screen TV's and video game consules all around the joint. Since most people get the buffet and are constantly walking back and forth, people don't mind the kids running all over the place. They used to have a separate room with cartoons playing on a big screen. I hear it's been turned into the gameroom. The buffet is pretty good with about 10 different varieties of their pizza. It also includes a salad bar and soft drinks. They have some dessert pizzas as well which are a fun change. The price is on a sliding age scale. Us big kids pay about 8 bucks, while the little kids range from free to 7 dollars. This is probably fair because I know I could eat a 5 year old under the table when it comes to pizza. read more

It is all you can eat pizza buffet catering to families with small children. Don't go in expecting the best pizza of your life, and you will do just fine. Salad bar is meh. I am a loyal Gattian. I have eaten at Mr. Gatti's pizza since the 1980's and still do. This is the best and most economical pizza place to eat at in East Tennessee. The video games are not annoyingly close to the main dining room which makes eating more pleasant and much quieter. It is virtually impossible to get stale pizza here because the dining room is busy and the line to the pizza is always there during peak meal hours. read more

Went here for a child's party. Several things were a miss. Tea was soured. They completely ran out of spoons so everyone had to wait for them to be washed (over 15-20 minutes). I came into Gatti's today for the first time . I was a little excited because I've been in Maryville for years and never been , also my sister wanted to go to celebrate her success at her swim meet so I brought her and my other sister . The first thing that caught me off guard was the price 7+ for a meal with no drink ? I ended up paying 31 and change for all 3 of us to get food and drink when I could have took them to Cici's or literally anywhere else and gotten that for less than 20 but like I said this is where my sister chose . I went in with an open mindset , there wasn't much to choose from but I got a slice of chicken pizza and a little spaghetti and breadsticks. When I tell you the pizza was ROCK hard I could barely bite into it ... and the spaghetti wasn't bad I'm just not a fan of sugar in my meat sauce . Anyway , I went back up to get a slice of pepperoni that had just come out because I figured the problem was it had been sitting too long ... same issue , the pizza was a little better but the crust was still rock hard . At this point I'm getting a little irritated because this is a pretty penny for subpar pizza , so I ask my sisters if they're enjoying their food and they aren't impressed either . Apparently , they used to come there with their summer program and the quality of the pizza wasn't the same as then . So , then I'm like ok ... well let me try the dessert. The cinnamon sticks were barely edible and the apple pizza dish was mushy . So at this point I ask to speak to a manager , I tell him about my issue and tell him that normally I would just get my money's worth and leave , but I don't even want to eat this food , it's that bad . What I wanted was my money back , because none of us finished our plates , but what he gave me was 2 free Buffet cards for 3 people when I had already told him I wouldn't be coming back. He wasn't accommodating, the prices are highway robbery for the quality of food and I was literally so angry I just gave the cards to my sisters and walked out before I blew up . This is extremely out of character for me because I've worked in food service before so I know how complaints can be and I do my best to refrain from them, actually , I've never complained at a restaurant before , and this is the first yelp review I've ever given ... but the pizza was THAT BAD . I will not be back , and I sincerely think they need to reconsider their prices and store policy because as someone who is still young and in college , I work hard for my money and I shouldn't have to pay over 30 bucks for a horribly stale pizza buffet . read more
