Yum Yum Yummy. This is top notch hibachi, literally better to me than Sakura and all those other fancy ones. I always get the chicken and steak combo, extra yum yum sauce, vegetables and ginger sauce. Cost around $15. There's plenty of parking in front of the building, and what meets the eye in the neighborhood can easily be diminished by minding your business lol. This place recently popped up on Doordash and Ubereats so I thought I'd give it a try. I decided to call my order instead of using a delivery service. I called but no one answered. The message said text your order in and someone would respond in 10 minutes. Twenty minutes later and no response, so I drove to the restaurant. They said they were swamped with online orders so they turned the phone off. Strange. Anyways, the parking lot is really small and difficult to get out of. Especially since you have to back out onto a main road. Inside you'll find a cash register, small grill area and a small workspace. Everyone seemed friendly, but this is a newer restaurant and they have some things to work out. It was a bit slow. Others have told me how great their food was. For me, it was just okay. We ordered egg rolls, steak hibachi, and chicken hibachi. The egg rolls were really good. Large serving of rice, but it was a little hard. The meat servings were small in comparison to other hibachi places around town. Each order comes with cabbage and two sauces. Ginger and yum yum. Great alternative to going into a hibachi place if you just want something quick to satisfy that hibachi craving! I got the veggie hibachi and added scallops with egg yolk. Super delicious!! I do wish my scallops were a little bigger or more-it was $8 extra for five tiny little scallops, and the egg yolk is extra to add as well. My fried rice was good but really dry, added a little butter and soy and it was back to life. The yum yum is SUPER good, still crossing my fingers one day they will have the elusive mustard. All in all, I appreciate there's a in person alternative but anything other than just one meat gets expensive quickly read more

Great food and awesome people. I heard about Mr. Hibachi on the support Columbus restaurants Facebook page. I dont frequent the area much and had never heard of it. I walked in to place an order and all the employees had masks on. That was amazing to see during the covid pandemic and I cant say I've seen it anywhere else. I ordered a chicken hibachi and headed to my car to wait. They said it would be about 15 minutes and of course I wasn't paying attention to the time. It didn't matter though because one of the workers brought my food out to my car. That was so nice of them with everything going on. I enjoy the chicken hibachi a lot. I really liked the cabbage that came with it and the portion was huge. I will definitely be coming back to try some different hibachi combos. All I can say is Wow! what good food. These people are courteous, kind and appreciative of their customers. I drove all the way from Powell to visit this restaurant. Their food taste so much better than the expensive sit down Hibachi grills. I love the fact that I can get really good food like this to go. The food is fresh and cooked with care. So I've been want to try this place with seem like forever but in never on the north side of town. I've heard a look of good this about them..... but they were all lies. So my order was shrimp hibachi, fried rice, cabbage, mushrooms, zucchini and egg yolk sauce. Smh No the zucchini and mushrooms was way under cook damn near raw and the cabbage was over cook and mushy. The fried rice was just cooked white rice with soy sauce didn't taste like fried rice at all. there were to many white chunks of rice for me. The Shrimp was the only thang that saved this meal for me they do give you more shrimp then most places give you for the price. The eggs yolk and the yum yum was trash trash (Need to get a new recipe for both). Egg yolk sauce had no taste didn't even taste like eggs, and the yum yum sauce was TOO watery. Yum yum sauce didn't absorb in my food just sat at the bottom of the container. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! We ordered our meals, and the rice was undercooked to the point that it was hard and clumped together. Extremely dry. And the yum yum sauce tastes either like it's made of chemicals, or rancid. I would recommend going to hibachi express on Schrock or Bethel if you're craving hibachi food. I came across this restaurant on YELP...The food looked delicious so my husband and I decided to give it a try. We have no regrets...the pictures do no justice for how amazing the flavor is in every bite! I had the chicken and shrimp entree and my husband had the steak and shrimp combo. It was easy to call in to place our order (the lady who took our order was so extremely friendly and helpful). Once we arrived our food was ready. Since covid hit I've been trying new restaurants to support local business. I tried Mr Hibachi based off a lot of good reviews online. I am by no means a connoisseur of hibachi but I was definitely pleased. The restaurant is an unassuming little to go type of joint but the food did not disappoint. I ordered the veggie hibachi and added steak and egg yolk sauce. I'd never had egg yolk sauce before but it was recommended to me so I thought, why not? The dish was reeaalllyy yummy and way more than what I could finish in one sitting. The egg yolk was super rich so that probably helped. Also the steak was cooked a perfect medium. It was very tender and seems high quality enough I'd order medium rare next time (I'm always skeptical on the first go for any restaurant). Lastly, the staff was really friendly and gave off good vibes. I chatted with them a bit and found out they just opened this spring when all of this covid mess hit. I can't even imagine... I ordered the steak and lobster combo. It was really expensive 30$+ but considering what I ordered steak and lobster I mean.....I think the meat options were small but delicious. Tender steak and lobster tender goodness. I also really like the friend rice with it. Prob my favorite I've found in Columbus. I woulda gave 5 stars had there been a little more meat cause 30$!!
