Hibachi Steak, Chicken and Shrimp. With egg yolk sauce. Delicious.

Very Very Good. Especially since Ichiban Japanese Steakhouse is Closed because of Covid19. I will be continuously going to Mr. Hibachi even when Ichiban opens back. Why? Because I don't have to sit in front of a grill and watch this cooked in front of me. It's the same great taste but carryout. Cost less too.

Literally ate nonstop till I was so full I could pop. Still this much. $9.99 Hibachi Chicken, dinner then lunch.Delivery on Grubhub!!!

Guys. Grubhub and Mr Hibachi. You're welcome. This is the hands down best restaurant for delivery. It's $2.99 for delivery on Grubhub OR sign up for a free trial of Grubhub+ OR pay $9.99 a month for free delivery. So worth it. I have gotten this once a month and it's amazing. So fresh. So delicious. HUGE portions. $9.99 for hibachi chicken and it's enough for chowing down hard for dinner and a sizeable lunch the next day. Mr Hibachi I love you.

This place recently popped up on Doordash and Ubereats so I thought I'd give it a try. I decided to call my order instead of using a delivery service. I called but no one answered. The message said text your order in and someone would respond in 10 minutes. Twenty minutes later and no response, so I drove to the restaurant. They said they were swamped with online orders so they turned the phone off. Strange. Anyways, the parking lot is really small and difficult to get out of. Especially since you have to back out onto a main road. Inside you'll find a cash register, small grill area and a small workspace. Everyone seemed friendly, but this is a newer restaurant and they have some things to work out. It was a bit slow. Others have told me how great their food was. For me, it was just okay. We ordered egg rolls, steak hibachi, and chicken hibachi. The egg rolls were really good. Large serving of rice, but it was a little hard. The meat servings were small in comparison to other hibachi places around town. Each order comes with cabbage and two sauces. Ginger and yum yum. We didn't get yum yum but the ginger sauce had a good flavor.

Great alternative to going into a hibachi place if you just want something quick to satisfy that hibachi craving! I got the veggie hibachi and added scallops with egg yolk. Super delicious!! I do wish my scallops were a little bigger or more-it was $8 extra for five tiny little scallops, and the egg yolk is extra to add as well. My fried rice was good but really dry, added a little butter and soy and it was back to life. The yum yum is SUPER good, still crossing my fingers one day they will have the elusive mustard. All in all, I appreciate there's a in person alternative but anything other than just one meat gets expensive quickly

Great food and awesome people. I heard about Mr. Hibachi on the support Columbus restaurants Facebook page. I dont frequent the area much and had never heard of it. I walked in to place an order and all the employees had masks on. That was amazing to see during the covid pandemic and I cant say I've seen it anywhere else. I ordered a chicken hibachi and headed to my car to wait. They said it would be about 15 minutes and of course I wasn't paying attention to the time. It didn't matter though because one of the workers brought my food out to my car. That was so nice of them with everything going on. I enjoy the chicken hibachi a lot. I really liked the cabbage that came with it and the portion was huge. I will definitely be coming back to try some different hibachi combos. I highly reccomend checking them out if you haven't already

I love this place. Egg yolk sauce is really good. They are always friendly when I come in. They treated me very well.

Surprisingly some of the best hibachi I've had. The egg yolk sauce was so good that you don't need anything else tbh.

Pretty loud and hard to hear, but that vibe is OK for a boil place to me. Only waited about 15 minutes. Two adults, two elementary kids. I like Lees of all the boil places because they have good options for non seafood people too. Both kids found wings, chicken fettuccini, etc. Started with the hushpuppies, about 12 smallish sized but a perfect starter for 4 people. Came with ketchup, I wish they would do a remoulade option. My wife and I split the duo (snow crab, shrimp) and I decided to add a LB of blue crab. Medium homemade juice sauce (always....it's sooo damn good). Snow crab was really good this time, snappy not bendy like some places. knuckles sweet and not overly briny. Perfectly cooked and came apart and out easily. Shrimp were just a tad overcooked but not much. Potatoes were perfect. We sub +1 tater for the egg. Corn is never good at these places. :) gotta do those fresh not frozen to get it right. The blue crab had good flavor. However, crazy overcooked which made getting meat out damn near impossible. Stringy instead of in chunks and stuck totally to the shell. I mostly gave up. My biggest complaint is they have ZERO typical utensils. No crackers/pickers/hammers/etc. I managed to cut myself trying to get into a snow crab large claw, and the lack of pickers made the blue crab impossible to eat. I'm bringing my own next time....serious. Finished with the fried oreos which were a perfect finish to the meal. 6 oreos for $6 was a great price.

I'd heard a ton of good things about…read moretheir other location, of course, and meant to go eventually but forgot this one was here. Tiny, carryout only, though there are a couple of tables to sit while you wait or maybe to eat a quick lunch. Super friendly staff. Fairly short menu; all the good stuff. I wasn't famished and didn't want to wait for chicken or fish, so I got an assortment of sides thinking that would be quicker. They fried up the okra right then, though, and had a steady stream of pickup orders coming through the door, so it still took 10-15 minutes. It was okay, though, smelling the amazing scents coming from the kitchen, talking to the staff and customers. I hadn't noticed they have ribs (just a picture, not on the menu) so I might've ordered those. Oh well. $20 I think, or they do combos with sides or fish and sides. Anyway. I got fried okra, and it was a big portion and absolutely amazing. No need for any sauces, tasty on its own. Perfectly crisp. Baked beans: my style, sauce so thick you can eat them with a fork. Slightly sweet, mostly savory, very good. Greens (collards) with turkey: outstanding. Tender but not floppy, nicely seasoned. Cornbread: soft, sweet, crumbly, topped with butter. Yum. Geechee rice: seasoned, bacon and sausage, very good. And black-eyed pea salad. I like black-eyed peas but had never had them in a salad. These were great: plump, with bits of tomato and cucumber and onion, in a vinegary dressing. Again, yum. Enough food for two meals. They gave me the side plate special, three sides and cornbread, which helped with the price. I was headed home and not thirsty so I didn't get a drink, but based on conversations with other customers I missed out on the lemonade and sweet tea. I'll be back for those and maybe a rib-fish combo. And to try the mac. Get here if you can!

Made a reservation for dinner about a week in advance and yes, told them it was our anniversary. We got there a few minutes early. They got us seated right on time. Nice little card and decorations on the table to celebrate us. Nice touch. Monika came by with a smile, gave us a minute to look over the drink menu, brought us water and asked if we had questions. Drinks are ordered and they came quickly. We got a chance to finally look around and found it to be a very relaxing atmosphere. We could not resist the prime rib egg rolls. Very crunchy exterior with slices of prime rib inside. The dipping sauce had a great flavor but I copied not decide on the ingredients. Just know you want to ask for more. I don't get seafood at home. My wife's idea of seafood has Gortons on the label. So when I saw the seafood trio I had to get it. Really really good. Shrimp, scallop, salmon that all had great flavor and were prepared very well. My wife loves gnocchi so the short rib version was her choice. I got the leftovers the next day and they were still good. Since we were celebrating I got the celebration cheesecake. Dense but tasty. Lots of crunchy extras to dip into if you want. She got the obligatory crème brûlée. There were no leftovers for me. Dang. Monika was a dream to work with. Fun, personable, professional and just a good person to deal with. Make sure to notice her jewelry. There is a good story behind it.
