Hibachi Steak, Chicken and Shrimp. With egg yolk sauce. Delicious.

Very Very Good. Especially since Ichiban Japanese Steakhouse is Closed because of Covid19. I will be continuously going to Mr. Hibachi even when Ichiban opens back. Why? Because I don't have to sit in front of a grill and watch this cooked in front of me. It's the same great taste but carryout. Cost less too.

Literally ate nonstop till I was so full I could pop. Still this much. $9.99 Hibachi Chicken, dinner then lunch.Delivery on Grubhub!!!

Guys. Grubhub and Mr Hibachi. You're welcome. This is the hands down best restaurant for delivery. It's $2.99 for delivery on Grubhub OR sign up for a free trial of Grubhub+ OR pay $9.99 a month for free delivery. So worth it. I have gotten this once a month and it's amazing. So fresh. So delicious. HUGE portions. $9.99 for hibachi chicken and it's enough for chowing down hard for dinner and a sizeable lunch the next day. Mr Hibachi I love you.

This place recently popped up on Doordash and Ubereats so I thought I'd give it a try. I decided to call my order instead of using a delivery service. I called but no one answered. The message said text your order in and someone would respond in 10 minutes. Twenty minutes later and no response, so I drove to the restaurant. They said they were swamped with online orders so they turned the phone off. Strange. Anyways, the parking lot is really small and difficult to get out of. Especially since you have to back out onto a main road. Inside you'll find a cash register, small grill area and a small workspace. Everyone seemed friendly, but this is a newer restaurant and they have some things to work out. It was a bit slow. Others have told me how great their food was. For me, it was just okay. We ordered egg rolls, steak hibachi, and chicken hibachi. The egg rolls were really good. Large serving of rice, but it was a little hard. The meat servings were small in comparison to other hibachi places around town. Each order comes with cabbage and two sauces. Ginger and yum yum. We didn't get yum yum but the ginger sauce had a good flavor.

Great alternative to going into a hibachi place if you just want something quick to satisfy that hibachi craving! I got the veggie hibachi and added scallops with egg yolk. Super delicious!! I do wish my scallops were a little bigger or more-it was $8 extra for five tiny little scallops, and the egg yolk is extra to add as well. My fried rice was good but really dry, added a little butter and soy and it was back to life. The yum yum is SUPER good, still crossing my fingers one day they will have the elusive mustard. All in all, I appreciate there's a in person alternative but anything other than just one meat gets expensive quickly

Great food and awesome people. I heard about Mr. Hibachi on the support Columbus restaurants Facebook page. I dont frequent the area much and had never heard of it. I walked in to place an order and all the employees had masks on. That was amazing to see during the covid pandemic and I cant say I've seen it anywhere else. I ordered a chicken hibachi and headed to my car to wait. They said it would be about 15 minutes and of course I wasn't paying attention to the time. It didn't matter though because one of the workers brought my food out to my car. That was so nice of them with everything going on. I enjoy the chicken hibachi a lot. I really liked the cabbage that came with it and the portion was huge. I will definitely be coming back to try some different hibachi combos. I highly reccomend checking them out if you haven't already

I love this place. Egg yolk sauce is really good. They are always friendly when I come in. They treated me very well.

Surprisingly some of the best hibachi I've had. The egg yolk sauce was so good that you don't need anything else tbh.

Pretty loud and hard to hear, but that vibe is OK for a boil place to me. Only waited about 15 minutes. Two adults, two elementary kids. I like Lees of all the boil places because they have good options for non seafood people too. Both kids found wings, chicken fettuccini, etc. Started with the hushpuppies, about 12 smallish sized but a perfect starter for 4 people. Came with ketchup, I wish they would do a remoulade option. My wife and I split the duo (snow crab, shrimp) and I decided to add a LB of blue crab. Medium homemade juice sauce (always....it's sooo damn good). Snow crab was really good this time, snappy not bendy like some places. knuckles sweet and not overly briny. Perfectly cooked and came apart and out easily. Shrimp were just a tad overcooked but not much. Potatoes were perfect. We sub +1 tater for the egg. Corn is never good at these places. :) gotta do those fresh not frozen to get it right. The blue crab had good flavor. However, crazy overcooked which made getting meat out damn near impossible. Stringy instead of in chunks and stuck totally to the shell. I mostly gave up. My biggest complaint is they have ZERO typical utensils. No crackers/pickers/hammers/etc. I managed to cut myself trying to get into a snow crab large claw, and the lack of pickers made the blue crab impossible to eat. I'm bringing my own next time....serious. Finished with the fried oreos which were a perfect finish to the meal. 6 oreos for $6 was a great price.

Food was good, my only complaint was the amount of sauce, they held back on the sauce I could've boughten the extra sauce but wasn't looking for it to be drenched, but looking for alittle more love in the boil, especially since it was a lot of food and I had to take some home and reheat it. Other than that a great place, nice people good food!

There were a lot of bodies waiting in the small area near the host desk and it was a little chaotic. Our server kept trying to bring us the wrong bottle of wine (we ordered a bottle of French bubbly and she kept coming back with a Riesling) so I am not sure if it was a disconnect or what. Eventually we received the correct bottle after taking the toast tab and pointing to the appropriate one on the POS. Our group enjoyed some small plates; the ceviche and the beet salad and hummus were all lovely. However, I ordered the kind of already overpriced lobster scramble. The portion was CRAZY. What I received was a 1.5" piece of lobster meat on top of what seemed to be less than one eggs' worth of pre blended egg. There was still liquid egg that hadn't been cooked in the pan and it was accompanied by three wedges of a Roma tomato with a handful of dressed arugula. For $29. I would hope at that price point, I would at least get 2 eggs worth. WILD. All in all, enjoyable experience but Cameron Mitchell should probably revise some of the portion sizes/menu items. And please, please, nobody order the lobster scramble and experience the same fate that I did.

Tiny, carryout only, though there are a couple of tables to sit while you wait or maybe to eat a quick lunch. Super friendly staff. Fairly short menu; all the good stuff. I wasn't famished and didn't want to wait for chicken or fish, so I got an assortment of sides thinking that would be quicker. They fried up the okra right then, though, and had a steady stream of pickup orders coming through the door, so it still took 10-15 minutes. It was okay, though, smelling the amazing scents coming from the kitchen, talking to the staff and customers. I hadn't noticed they have ribs (just a picture, not on the menu) so I might've ordered those. Oh well. $20 I think, or they do combos with sides or fish and sides. Anyway. I got fried okra, and it was a big portion and absolutely amazing. No need for any sauces, tasty on its own. Perfectly crisp. Baked beans: my style, sauce so thick you can eat them with a fork. Slightly sweet, mostly savory, very good. Greens (collards) with turkey: outstanding. Tender but not floppy, nicely seasoned. Cornbread: soft, sweet, crumbly, topped with butter. Yum. Geechee rice: seasoned, bacon and sausage, very good. And black-eyed pea salad. I like black-eyed peas but had never had them in a salad. These were great: plump, with bits of tomato and cucumber and onion, in a vinegary dressing. Again, yum. Enough food for two meals. They gave me the side plate special, three sides and cornbread, which helped with the price. I was headed home and not thirsty so I didn't get a drink, but based on conversations with other customers I missed out on the lemonade and sweet tea. I'll be back for those and maybe a rib-fish combo. And to try the mac. Get here if you can!

I came here on a cold March evening with my colleagues for a team dinner after a two-day conference. My co-worker was kind enough to tell the restaurant we were celebrating my birthday, so they had decorated our table with some cute birthday confetti and had a card for me. Such a nice touch! I wish I had thought to take pics, but I was so exhausted. Now, on to the food! We got calamari for the table as a starter. It was sprinkled with feta, which I enjoyed. It was cooked nicely and had great flavor. Oddly, we got served butter and sour cream instead of the black pepper aioli and voodoo sauce that was supposed to come with it. Thankfully, they realized it and brought us the right sauces. For my main, I got the Blackened Seared Scallops, a really unique dish that came topped with pork belly and served on creamed corn with tomato jam and bourbon syrup. This leaned to the sweet side but the smoky flavor of the pork belly gave great balance to the delicate scallops and the sweetness. And that bourbon syrup was addictive. I cleaned my plate! I would definitely recommend this dish if you like a sweet/savory combo. None of us ordered drinks or dessert on this go-around, but the manager stopped by to chat with us. Again, really nice touch. One slightly worrying thing: one of my colleagues is allergic to mushrooms. He ordered something that didn't mention mushrooms on the menu, but it was on the plate. Thankfully he noticed it before he started eating and they remade it for him without mushrooms. So if you have food allergies, be sure to ask questions because it may include an ingredient the menu doesn't mention. That said, our servers were wonderful and it was an overall pleasant experience.
