My family and I are in Ohio for a family emergency and when we arrived after our flight, we were starving for food and we decided to go to Hibachi Go. After dealing with a long flight with our dog, we were pleasantly satisfied and happy with the food we received. Ordering a take out and knowing that we can't eat inside with our dog, the three of us ordered the same steak and shrimp meal. It is safe to say that my expectations were blown away and the three of us were contentedly silent with every savoring bite we ate. The portions itself were wonderful to see once we opened our food. It is always pleasing and refreshing to see that they were not being stingy about their portions. The fried rice was mouth watering as it wasn't greasy and made fresh. The steak and shrimp were flawless and everything paired with their yum yum sauce made it ten times better. Even with the small hiccup of not hearing to right amount we ordered on the phone, the wait itself for two more steak and shrimp was not too long. I adored the interior of the place while my mom and I waited for our food to be made. Overall, I am very pleased and happy that out of anywhere we could've gotten food from, this was the first place I chose. Especially when it had been years since we came back to Ohio. read more

Was at this plaza to get information from FedEx, just dropped in for a snack to try the food, and it turned out really good. I got the steak lo mein which is surprisingly good. The steak is juicy and tender with generous portions. Lo mein is with the wok flavor in black pepper sauce. I love this place. I started with the chicken plates, but once I had the salmon, I was hooked. My kids get extra yum yum sauce, but I don't need it. Some dishes just taste well without anything. You get a decent amount of food here for the price. The fried rice and shrimp were good. Steak is cooked well done. Overall it is pretty bland, but you can get additional sauces (yum yum, ginger, hot sauce, and teriyaki sauce) for $0.50 each. When I first walked in here I noticed that the seating area is small and there was no visible menu at first glance. I wasn't too sure how the food would be but when I got it my portions were huge for the price I paid! I ordered the chicken and shrimp which came with fried rice and two veggie sides of your choosing. The food was not heavily seasoned with sauces, you have to order your own on the side for 50 cents each to add some more flavoring to your meal! I prefer to add my own sauces so it was great for me! I have been to hibachi go several times! It's comparable to Gengi Go where it's a pre-made assembly line of hibachi with a few more offerings - especially appetizers and sides. You can choose steamed or fried rice, chicken, steak, shrimp and can add bean sprouts, mushrooms, broccoli, onions, and zucchini. They also offer 'yum-yum' and ginger sauce. The Gengi franchise has gone down hill, and this is definitely a better alternative. read more

We've gotten dinner from here a few times recently. This is a pretty good cheap Hibachi place. I usually get Steak (fried rice) and the meat has been really good every time (it's not always at places like this). Once they mistakenly gave me chicken and it wasn't bad either. The portions are huge and they offer a few sides. We've tried the Eggrolls and the Crab Rangoon. Both are tasty. The Yum Yum sauce tastes good but seems more watery than I'm used to. I wish they would serve it in different containers. You can't mix it easily in the ones they use so we always wind up using our own dishes. Walk up to the counter, pick your meat and sides, and wait a few minutes while they make it. It's nothing fancy, but it's clean and bright inside, and service is friendly and efficient. Prices are a little lower than a regular Japanese steakhouse, and portions are slightly smaller. You still get a ton, though. I had the steak with lo mein, and picked corn and broccoli as my veggies. The steak was perfectly cooked to medium, and very tasty. The lo mein was also pretty darn good, and the veggies, well, they let me pretend it was slightly healthy. I also got their gyoza special, and they were great: tender pockets of chicken and veggies, cooked just right. The sauces, yum yum and dumpling, were superfluous. Of the options in this area, which has risen and fallen, this is a great choice. They seem to do mainly carryout, but I ate there and enjoyed it. I was very pleasantly surprised when I walked into the hibachi go and saw it had taken on a whole new layout! This used to be a walk-through style, with half walls to direct us habachi lovers to the lineup. They have now arranged this to bring the walls forward so that it is one large open room and has plenty of space for social distancing, this also allows for no airflow towards the back of the kitchen as the previous open layout dead. Everything is enclosed in the back of the kitchen and there is a little trap door they have installed to give you food and an even smaller trap door to receive your payment. I'm so glad I discovered this place! You get your choice of meat, your choice of fried or steamed rice and a choice of two vegetables. Carrots, broccoli and lettuce are included veggies. I'm writing this review because I'm very upset about the service I received at this place. I don't understand why us Black people are supporting this company they do not care for us they are so disrespectful. They are in a predominantly black neighborhood and very racist. The store is even sealed off so they can keep their distance from Black people. And have anybody ever noticed these kind of restaurants you never even see them eating their own food. When Covid started they made sure to keep their distance. I would never eat another one of these kind of places anywhere because they're all the same. Kids wanted fried rice tonight for dinner . My kids enjoy going to the Japanese steakhouse so we decided to give this place a try . I ordered chicken and steak with fried rice , carrots and broccolli . My meal was decent . Steak and chicken were tastey with good seasoning . I was a little suprised that they put your veggies on the side and not in with your meats . They cooked my broccolli but the carrots were served raw . I mixed them together before eating ...guess thats what you are supposed to do . Not cheap as your average fried rice and meat but you do get a lot of meat so I can't complain .
