hired Brendan to clean the awning over my deck and to clean my fence and power wash my driveway and put new sand there. He used bleach on my awning without my approval and I have spots all over my deck and my railings! He did not tell me that he was going to use bleach. You can't use bleach on ipe wood. I had my awning cleaned by a few other companies in the past and they never left splotches on my deck. Brendan also didn't clean my fence. He only cleaned the gates and told me that I never asked him to clean the fence. Brendan was very, very nasty when I questioned him. He told me that the way to solve this is for me to pay him more money for him to try to clean my deck. If I wanted my deck cleaned I would have hired him to clean it. He is refusing to come back to put sand in my driveway as well. Now I have to pay to put in a brand new deck because there is no way to get out bleach stains on my deck and make it look uniform and even. My deck looks absolutely awful the way he left it. Brendan also somehow got yellow marks all over my awning. The pictures do not show how bad my deck and awning actually look. Be sure to ask Brendan for proof of liability insurance if you decide to use him. But I strongly advise against using him. read more

This review is for their holiday light arm of business. They are super unprofessional - I do NOT recommend using them for your Christmas decorations. I submitted a request for a quote via their website and I received a call back right away with the girl saying they will text me a picture of my house to confirm if that is the latest picture and she walked me through the different packages available. I texted back right away with an updated photo and I never heard back at ALL. I followed up via text and e-mail at least 4+ times and I never heard back. This company is super unreliable and not trustworthy. Go elsewhere! Thank God we never used them as I would have severely regret paying that much money to a business that is this awful. read more

not sure of this companies work but told me he would be here on a Monday at 9. he contacts me 15 minutes before and says his guy can't make it. he tells me Tuesday at 12 never showed up. he then says he spoke with his guy and confirmed he will be here at 3. 4 o'clock I call him and he says his guy never got the message. he also told me if he was home he would of did it himself then after the arguing in the phone and cancelling job he says he would of came today and did the job. this guy has lots of stories that I don't recommend read more

Worst business ever. Hired them to do snow removal for my elderly mom. I had to pay cash in advance and then they never showed up. When I called the owner couldn't even remember what he was suppose to do and then told me he wasn't sure who he sent to do the job. Promised he would go back and take care of it but never did. When I tried to call again he wouldn't pick up my phone calls and his mail box would not take messages. Finally got him by having a friend use their phone to call and he answered immediately. Promised a refund over and over but just like his snow removal he never showed up. Posted a review on facebook and got many messages saying he did the same thing to others. We paid Brandon McCaffrey of Mr. Holiday Property Services $500.00 cash for seasonal snow removal services. From 12/31/16 through 4/1/17. We are senior citizens. We were assured that by purchasing a seasonal contract, we would be one of the first clients to be served in a snow accumulation of 2 inches or more. Needless to say Mr. McCaffrey and his partner never showed on the day the of the storms. He showed in the late afternoon on the following days ( despite me advising him that I needed to be out of the house to care for my ailing mother who was bedridden) . He never shower up AL ALL for the last snowstorm (March 14) . The snow turned to ice and we had to have someone else come with an ice pick two days later so we could get to doctors appointments. We have tried repeatedly to contact him by phone, mail and by certified mail. No response by phone, mail returned, AND HE REFUSED THE CERTIFIED MAIL! Do not use this company. I don't generally post negative comments about businesses, but I have had such a horrible experience with Mr. Holidays Lighting / Property Services that I want to let people know so you do not have the same problem. I have used the company before for my holiday lights and had some issues, but nothing nearly as bad as when I hired them for snow removal. They insist on being paid in cash before the snow and the first storm they didn't come until the afternoon of the day following the storm. I had to chase the owner who kept telling me they were on their way (for 24 + hours). The most recent storm was the final straw. The afternoon of the storm I started calling and texting them. I was told they were on their way and then that they would be here the following morning. I got home from work the evening of the day following the storm and they still had not come. I chased the owner for days who told me to find someone else because it had now turned to ice so there was nothing they could do (he had my money). I told him it was his responsibility as I already paid him and I had turned away 3 people that came the day of the storm because I had hired and paid him. The work was never done andI have spent the past two weeks chasing him for my refund. He has lied, called me names, told me I was "taking food off of his table" (for wanting my money back since he didn't do the job?). Last Sunday he said he would send me a check. It is now 10 days later and I do not have a refund. He told me Monday that it would be in my mailbox and it is was not. He said at 5 pm yesterday that his "employee" was on his way and then at midnight texted that he would be here today. Today I received another set of excuses. He has said that he is not a "crook", but it doesn't seem that way to me. I will never use Mr Holidays Lighting / Property Services again and I hope that this post saves someone the aggravation of dealing with this business. read more
