He arrived early and got the job done I was clear in my request, we have a big tv. Joe showed up alone. He asked for my help installing the TV, which we had to do twice as the first bracket was drilled into the wall too low. Couple other nitpicks, the TV had fingerprints all over it and the soundbar was plugged into the wrong HDMI. Overall the TV ended up on the wall. Amazing work and customer service. Called Joe at 7pm when I realized I would need an expert to install a large TV over the fireplace... the next day. He was clear on the price, the time, and set expectations clearly. When the TV showed up early, he came early. I let him in the house - by the time I finished a zoom, he has my old TV off the wall, my new one unboxed, and was measuring for centering the TV. I watched him work. It was masterful. He knew the type of wall and how in a 120 year old house, how to find the right anchor points. Had a perspective on the right way to lay out the pattern. Measured everything. Drilled cleanly and even new holes in the mount to along it exactly with the studs. Leveled it. Wired it. Hid the wires. He even put the batteries in the remote and guided me through the set up. A competent, pleasant, and nice person who knew what he was doing. He's done something like 8700 mounts. Think about that. I waffled should I pay $200+ to have someone do it? I'm handy and decent at home projects. This mount wasn't as easy as I thought - and this money was well spent. Joe is in the "trust" business. Really disappointed. I requested in my quote to have an outlet or cables to be hidden, I confirmed this over text with the installer. He said he could do it. Then on install day he didn't do it and said that would take hours to do. Ended up being $130 for the mounting, and now I have to hire an electrician to do the outlet for $200. Something that speciality audiovisual place said they would do both for $250. Money wasted. :/ After I posted the review he harassed me multiple times to take the review down. Was quite unprofessional for my visit. He took his truck to the shop the day before our scheduled consultation and did not let me know until he showed up. The truck had all the tools he needed to do the job that I requested, to do the job that we spoke about over phone and text throughout the week prior to the visit. When he showed up he told me he didn't have the tools to do the job I wanted, but was extremely insistent on mounting a TV on a nearby wall which he conveniently did have the tools to do. I told him multiple times throughout the week what I wanted, and for him to show up without the tools to do the job and then attempt to persuade me of something I did not want was extremely unprofessional and irritating. He came the same day as we texted him and mounted our tv above our fireplace in a location where we had been having trouble finding studs on our own. He wore a mask the entire time and maintained a safe distance. He brought the mount and everything. He replaced the black cord with a white one so it would look more natural and even filled some holes the previous tenants had left in the wall. He was nice and efficient and the tv looks great. Unreliable with keeping appointments. I liked Joe. He did a good job with my garbage disposal repair a couple months ago. Which is why I thought of Joe when it came time to install a window ac. I told him I purchased an unit and it will arrive today. We agreed he would install it today when it comes in. He specifically asked if the install would be during the workday. I have to say, I've been procrastinating years to have my TV mounted and when I reached out to Joe a few months ago, he replied immediately and installed it the next day.
