Kirk and team just completed a project re-doing my home network. The results were great. I am an IT guy who has managed my own network for years with several routers, switches etc.- covering a living space above a detached garage, the main house and an outdoor pool house. Internet was spotty in several spots and lacked reliability generating many complaints to the family help desk (me!!) I needed to hard wire some rooms, upgrade equipment and address the dead spots. I had enough of DIY and was especially wary of the wiring work. Kirk came out promptly and walked through the property and asked all the right questions. He quickly turned around a detailed proposal. I asked a few questions and requested a couple of additions resulting in call to me to answer the questions thoroughly followed by a revised proposal. Proposal covered exactly what I was looking for. Kirk and his team were prompt, professional, personable and a pleasure to work with. The wiring work was great - the equipment was set up and tested thoroughly. The in wall installs were clean and well done. We now have a mesh network with a single SSIID and a PoE system with multiple access points. Solar system ethernet wiring was moved and integrated. Speed tests were conducted in all the previous trouble areas with great results. Kirk configured our wide array of devices (Alexa's, Apple TVs, Smaet TVs, Roku, iPhones, iPads). He made sure everyone in the family was connected. He passed the wife test lol ("Kirk's great") I think I know my stuff but I learned a few things in the process. Kirk was very responsive to my initial inquiry, and was able to come by to start an estimate within the same week. He provided us a few different options, and was response to overall scope changes. We agreed to the work and set a date to perform the work. On the date arranged, the team arrived on time, and worked steadily to complete the work. Overall, they performed the necessary cuts in the ceiling, wiring, and cord organization to make everything look part of the room and organized. It's been a little over a month since the system was installed, and we are still loving the ability to watch football and Netflix in 4k equivalent on a 100 inch screen. The only hiccup is understandable for larger projects like ours. They mis-cut a hole for one of the in-ceiling speakers and patched it up, but it does require paint. He advised on an OLED television as well as setup and mounting - and also did all the wiring and setup for the audio, roku, etc. His team was fast efficient and highly knowledgeable. Kirk is terrific. We had another outfit install our system when we renovated our house. Over the course of five or so years, not much worked any more. Kirk came in, made a few updates, fixed a few things, and now everything just works. Reliably. We do have things break from time to time due to power surges and stuff like that. I moved and needed two 55" tv's dismounted and reinstalled (and hooked up to the cable and internet) and I was scheduling this from out of state. Truly impressed by SSAVI; the setup that they did was better than I could have imagined. The Sonos amps are amazing and the way that he set up my FIOS, with a LAN switch in the living room for all my gaming and streaming, was superb. The quality of the mount job was top notch as well. Kirk and Kevin were great. They were on time, nice, didn't try to up-sell me on anything that I didn't need (Kirk had an easy opportunity to sell me on adding some Sonos Ones and he instead gave the honest assessment that the in-wall speakers would have enough power without them). They were careful not to make a mess or cause any damage to walls, furniture, etc. while they worked. The quality was excellent, they labeled everything well, and went above and beyond testing the setup out.
