I had a screen repaired 9/21/2016 by Mr Iphone Mobile. Service was great. He arrived in an hour and replaced my screen in less than hour at my work. The downside is the screen never seemed to work properly. Buttons would seem to press randomly. In all fairness, I knew I was getting an off brand screen so I never contacted him to fix it. In retrospect, I should have. The screen completely failed 1/15/2017 and I ended up having to take it to Apple to get an authorized screen. I reached out to the man that repaired my phone and he said he only offered at 30 day warranty and I should have came to him when it failed. I wasn't in the area to get the phone fixed and needed it ASAP. The price at Apple was only 20 dollars more to get fixed. Of the two I would recommend going to Apple. read more

Aftermarket screens do not work with Face ID on the iPhone XR or any iPhone with Face ID. You have to go to Apple. He tried 2 different screens and had the same problem with both. He put the original screen back on and it works great. He tried very hard to make it work and spent a lot of his time on it so I don't fault him. You couldn't ask for a nicer or harder working person. He showed up on time, was very polite and worked very hard to make it work. I didn't want to have to out to get this repaired because of the coronavirus. The extra $40 is no big deal. I wish this would have worked, but he did the best he could. read more
