Well First of all here is a Pumpkin Patch where you can enjoy with family , Friends or even just walk around but it is not too big but has a few bounce houses and blow up slides for kids . We came here to check it out and it was pretty fun !! Lots of pumpkins and there were set up games for kids where you can win Mini Pumpkins and we won a couple which only costs 2 tickets to play !! The Service was ok and there were photos opps set up for you to take pictures . Plus they had an area for kids to pet Animals plus a little area for you to walk through a Haunted trail but it was nothing to scary . Overall a good Pumpkin Patch and I shall return next time when it comes back here !! read more

Mr. Jack O' Lanterns is such a great seasonal spot right in the heart of Clairemont. It's a perfect place to take the kids for some pumpkin picking, fall activities, and festive photo ops. The setup is super family friendly, and the staff is always kind and helpful. They offer a nice variety of pumpkins and Halloween decorations, plus a few fun extras for the kids like games and little activities. The location makes this place much pricier than other pumpkin patches I've been to, but not to say that they're not all high quality pumpkins. We bought two small pumpkins for a total of $8 each & to me - that's not too bad. This is a very very small family owned location meant for kids to come & go, so don't expect it to be like those elaborate pumpkin patch with mazes or tons of things to do... it just isn't that kind of place. They did put a bouncy house to appease the kids, but the selection of pumpkins are quite minimal, which is fine by me... since I always just get a small pumpkin for a fun carving contest anyways. I recommend those who are around the area to support these smaller vendors as they do need all the love. You're supporting local if you do! read more

Great spot for kiddos. My fiancé and I came with our 2.5 yr old and she had a blast. We arrived at 6pm and It wasn't crowded, there's painting, two bounce houses, balloon throws and other family friendly activities. We plan to come again next year read more

Mr. Jack O' Lanterns is a pretty cute pumpkin patch in La Jolla. My sister and I were looking for things to do with my nephew and stumbled upon this on Groupon. We each bought a Groupon and took my nephew for an early afternoon adventure. The "pumpkin patch" is cute, it is on a corner lot and has some great activities for kids. There was a bounce house to run around, there were also some cute games such as bowling with pumpkins, throwing darts and balloons, throwing a basketball, a ring toss and a couple other games. There was also a "petting zoo" which was really just a couple bunnies and some chickens. I thought it could have been a bit better but my nephew enjoyed it and that's what counted. They have pumpkins of all sizes. You can pick out a pumpkin which are fairly priced and kids can paint them, glitter them up and decorate them. My nephew had fun with it. Overall, this was a cute way to spend an afternoon and my five year old nephew really enjoyed it. Parking could easily become difficult but we got lucky and found parking just down the street. read more

This is my first time coming to Mr. jack-o'-lantern pumpkins there's a variety of different things to do here. They have the followings: -Corn maze -Costume -Pumpkin decorating -Carnival game -Jumping house Pumpkins range from a dollar to $10. They have a variety of different kinds. What is October without a visit to a pumpkin patch? What is a good visit without saving some money? I stumbled across a groupon for this patch that made it all worth it! $20 worth of pumpkins and 20 attraction tickets was just the right amount of fun for two people. We were disappointed at first when we saw how small it was. It's near residential area with only street parking, so you may have to walk. Perk is that is right next to the beach so you get a little view. That would be a nice place to go before or after. Anyways, this patch is obviously tailored towards little kids since I can totally see over the haystacks for the maze lol. There are a few games and a jumpy house. I was excited about the petting zoo though. It was really small, but the bunnies were perfect to pet and weren't so scared (however they seemed a little tired and dehydrated, but it was a hot day!). They had other little birdies too. I wish there was more though. They have a few games that you can win prizes... which are like barbies and whatnot (for little kids). But we won teddy bears! And you also have a chance of winning a large pumpkin at two of the games- my friend actually did by popping three balloons at the dart game hahah. As for choosing pumpkins, they do have enough of every different kind/sizes. Perfect for any needs. The only thing I wished was that it was bigger so that there were more picture opportunities like laying in a field of pumpkins. But overall, a fun pumpkin patch experience- definitely more tailored to little munchins instead of older adults. read more

Stopped in here at opening on 10/3. Everyone was wearing a mask, bounce houses were complimentary (probably until they get more people) - and no concern since it was early - and pumpkin prices were reasonable considering its a standalone lot. The employee checking people out was overly apologetic for not having everything ready which was understandable considering everyone is getting late pumpkin shipments with pumpkins coming from North of fire areas in CA. He was very friendly and nice to our daughter in a genuine way, not because we were spending money. If you're shopping here, you're here for the experience and you know you'll be spending more than you can elsewhere. You're not getting a jack o' lantern for $3.59 like at Aldi or $5.99 elsewhere. But we got one for $10 and 4 others for $20 total between them and were happy to support a small business during COVID, go somewhere for our daughter to pick her own, and still not spend a fortune in the process. Try them out - they're small but the great service and reasonable prices can't be beat. There was a small haunted house, two large bounce houses, pumpkin painting and some photo staged areas. Pumpkin Station, it ain't, but Del Mar ain't open this year, this is closer, and it has a charm all its own. read more

Well, when two young entrepreneurs and best friends opened Mr. Jingles Christmas Trees, they quickly realized their passion for spreading joy and selling trees during the most wonderful time of the year. After five successful years, they have decided it is time to expand their seasonal business to Halloween, a time for fun, fright, and cool fall nights! It's easy to fill up the bucket with ripe strawberries quick. Although it doesn't seem like there's a lot of strawberries at first glance, there's a lot as I walked through the rows of strawberry plants - that was part of the fun! One thing I wasn't prepared for was the dirt and how muddy the strawberry rows were. I'm not sure if it was always that wet. Perhaps it was because it rained earlier in the day? My shoes got extremely dirty and there wasn't a convenient way to wash it off there. I recommend wearing rain boots. In addition to strawberries, there was a sunflower maze and a separate section for a simple sunflower field. For those who don't want to worry about food, there's vendors and food trucks on site. They also sell jam and fresh strawberries at the stand, which doesn't require an admissions ticket. Service wasn't anything special. The staff there were efficient and friendly. Overall, I enjoyed my time there and I recommend visitors trying out the U-Pick experience!

An hour later around 10am was when it started to get busy. It's a smaller patch so a couple hours is doable if you have small kiddos. There's a barn to buy your pumpkins, a corn maze ($5pp), corn blaster ($1 per shot), petting zoo (free), and some small booths of food and small trinkets. Our group had a lot of fun for the 2 hours we were there. There is a huge rock display where the kids climb and great photo ops. This patch was quite a distance from Mira Mesa (40-45 mins) but since we left early in the morning, there was no traffic and ample parking. Parking is free and lots available.

I ended up having to go to Trader Joe's for three of the flower varieties I was looking for and not only did Trader Joes have them but they were vibrant and lively and, far less expensive. The wholesale flower market is great for greens, ribbon, floral accessories, vessels and maybe exotic florals that are pre-ordered, other than it was a bust.

And brown tipped ugly sad gloomy dead supposed to be white orchids. All the flowers were mini and there was string showing already! The Lei was shoved in a bag in a box wrapped with an ice pack. I had to sadly compost it. It was that sad. After all that. Only gave me a partial refund and won't respond anymore to me. Please Don't give this place anymore chances to screw up and scam you into buying dead flowers with carnations as fillers. (the other pics of them doing the exact same thing to other customers!)

My kids and I stop by after we went to the zoo. It was so much fun. It's a small pumpkin patch on a neighborhood corner but we had lots of fun. The workers were all very sweet and made sure my kids got candy for trying the games. They have a haunted house which my kids really enjoyed. And lots of pumpkins of many various sizes. If you can get a living social from here you should definitely take advantage of it. We had a great time and the kids definitely wore themselves out. So it's safe to say that everyone left happy LOL. read more
