I popped in at least twice to grab take out from Mr. Kabab during this year's busy season. and it did not disappoint! I had falafel everytime. It is amazing! Fresh and flavorful and fried to perfection. Their hummus is smooth with just the right perfect balance of garlic and taheni! I think it is sesame oil that they add to top it off...but it delish! Ordered some delivery from Mr. Kebab, falafel platter was missing the falafel, and instead was just a pile of hummus. Lamb kebabs were incredibly dry and BEYOND overcooked. Beef Kebabs were also tough and overcooked. No sauces with any of it, despite ordering (and paying for) extra sauce. Tried calling for an hour after recieving the order, no answer, full voicemail. I just love this place! It's just a small restaurant in a small retail area, but the food is so good. You get very generous portions and it's absolutely delicious! This was my first time "dining in" since Covid. We actually sat outside since it was a nice evening. We placed our order at the counter then waited outside until it was ready a few minutes later. We were there near closing time and our food was still fresh and we never felt rushed at all. The staff and most patrons were wearing masks. Most people were just in and out for carry out orders. My kiddos and I love Mr Kabab! Location is perfect, off Richmond road so normally not to much traffic. Staff are always friendly and service is really fast. The portions are huge is you get the plates instead of a wrap. I always get chicken shawarma, and I love their garlic sauce. My daughter loves it as well. I ordered one of the 7.99 lunch special, the Sharma plate with a mix of chicken and beef with Greek salad as my side and a soft drink. My meal was reasonably priced 10.05 including tax. The portions here are very generous and included rice and sauce. The Greek side salad was really tasty and included onions, olives, feta cheese, cucumbers, and tomatoes. My favorite take out COVID meal! The food is delicious and the staff is super nice. I almost always get the spicy chicken platter. I must admit, the heat level isn't consistent. However, I love all of the veggies piled on top. The garlic sauce is delicious, although it seems as though you dont get an extra sauce with your meal anymore. There are a few Mediterranean places in town you can get some good food, when you want shwarma and gyros, this is the place to go. The garlic sauce is a thin, spicy, garlic sauce that tastes amazing on everything. The cucumber salad is decent. I've been told the kabobs are pretty good as well. I'm not a big fan of rice, but my husband loves it. We usually get the beef and chicken shwarma. The chicken comes on a bed of spiced (i think with cinnamon) white rice and the beef of yellow saffron rice. I like this place better than some of the other places because I know at 7pm, they will have food--which is important at dinner time. Don't bother with the falafels here, go for the meat! read more

The very friendly and polite staff offer curbside service, which is a great option while living in our COVID corona hellworld. Was first introduced to this restaurant after trying a friend's plate at work. It was amazing! I went a week later and got the same thing, Sharma platter w.extra hummus. The quality was just as good. I tell everyone I know about this place, the customer service is wonderful and the food is always fresh. During one pick up before work, a little girl was having a birthday party there. If that doesn't speak to the quality of the food, I don't know what does. Very welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. I saw a previous reviewer complaining about the 'blonde girl' that takes orders. She is the main reason I am a repeat customer. When I had no idea where to start with ordering, she was so patient and kind with me and answered every question I had regarding the menu. The second time I was there they forgot my pita bread, without a second thought she handed me the remaining ones in the plastic bag. She didn't have to do that, it's good customer service. The third time I took my husband the owner and his wife doted on us right after opening for the day. We were in a rush to get him to the airport, but I insisted he try this wonderful food. I have heard very good things from friends however the yellow rice that came with my shawarma platter was very raw and not edible at all. I'm not sure if it was just an off batch or what, but it was definitely disappointing. It was also impossible to get a hold of anyone over the phone to discuss this issue with.
