I am a sucker for a good deli and this one came up on Yelp as highly rated. The name threw me off because its kind of gimmicky but the place packs a punch! This is one of those deli's that know what they are doing. I went with the godfather sandwich which had fried eggplant, sweet sopressata and roasted peppers. It was legit! The fried eggplant had a good texture to it and the sandwich worked. I got it with oil and vinegar as well which rounded out the saltiness from the sopressata. My coworker got a chicken cutlet and mozzarella sandwich and he said it was perfect. What more can you ask for?! The guy behind the counter was a character and made the experience fun. He was joking with us and having fun. Great to see people passion about what they do. I will come back to try more of their stuff since I work in the area. Sandwiches are great and next time I am going to try homemade sausage. Really solid spot and I am glad I came. Check it out!

This was an online order and it was tasty. Bread was a hearty semolina type, was a bit tough but still good texture. We ordered a Moonlighter(roast beef, onions, cheddar) and a super combo (mortadella, salami and ham with fresh mozz, peppers and lettuce). Delivery was fast and quick and the hero's were large and filling. Very hefty and well priced. Cold cuts were fresh and authentic not cheap or off brand type. I would definitely be ordering from this place again.

I grew up in the South Bronx where the best sandwiches were from the bodegas and it was doused in oil & vinegar, dressed with mayo and topped off with "lettucetomatosalt&pepper" all in one. Ever since I moved to Yonkers, I was eager to find a spot that would match what I'm used to and at Mr. Kold Kutz I finally found it. The sandwiches always taste fresh & delectable. Their mac&cheese salad is ridiculously delicious and I only get hot sandwiches from here too. You know when you get a hot chicken parm sandwich and then you take it home and it's just hard and stale? That does not happen here. Did I mention they have a sandwich press too? In Yonkers, it really does not get any better than Mr. Kold Kutz. For me anyway! read more

They have the best Italian subs that I had in New York. The bread is fresh and the meat is high quality as well as the mozzarella is homemade fresh and delicious - it is totally authentic Italian . Old fashioned service mixed with fresh as can be food makes for a true five star experience. So far I haven't strayed much beyond their subs, frankly, I can't get beyond their roast beef sub -- it's so good I can't get myself to try anything else! But based on the happy faces I see every time I go grab one of their amazing homemade roast beef subs made on the freshest, crunchiest bread, sometimes I get it cold, sometimes I go crazy and get it on warm garlic bread.... oh my goodness -- no doubt everything is equally delicious. I always pick up to go but there are a few tables to eat in as well. read more

Tried this place based on a yelp review (I'm not from the area) and it was EXCELLENT! I had the goodfella with prosciutto, eggplant, mozz and fresh pesto and it out outstanding. My husband's food was delicious as well. The staff were all so friendly, if I am in the area again I will be going back. Only warning is there is a $15 minimum for purchases on a card. read more

Stopped in because of the reviews I read and they were right on point. The ingredients were amazingly fresh and the staff was courteous and friendly. Food was great, large portion size for the price. However I ordered an Italian combo for 10 dollars, but received a sandwich with Bologna instead of ham and mozzarella instead of provolone. Although it was delicious it's best to specify ur specific sandwich. Maybe what I received was an Italian special not a Italian combo. For the price I think it's about right. He thought that the restaurant itself was clean and nice enough. But then the fun part happened. He tried to tip 20% on his lunch bill, asking the waiter to round to the total from the $50 check to $60 total The waiter decided that meant adding a $60 TIP to the order and running the credit card at $110 for their lunch. Simple mistake, maybe. We apparently will never know, because Liebman's has never called back after two different attempts to speak with management to rectify the situation. We were told that there was no manager there twice, but assured that we would receive a call back shortly. Nothing, apparently. Is Liebman's an establishment that targets the elderly and figures that they can get away with it because sometimes people don't look at what they're signing. Who knows? Not me, because no-one from Liebman's decided that it was important to return multiple calls to figure that out. So, IF you go to this place, please check your bill and then check it again, because once you leave the restaurant, they seem to have no desire to explain why they charged you a 120% tip (or even attempt to keep you as a customer) Bonus fact: I waited three weeks to post this to give them every chance to do the right thing and have a manager reply.

Food was packed really well for transit and awesome and everyone loved it. 10/10 star kudos for making planning catered food for a luncheon so easy. and for the wonderful food. This restaurant has been around for about…read moresix years, and I'll admit I had previously dismissed it because it's located in an outer strip of stores where Harmon and Bed Bath & Beyond once were. I truly wish I hadn't--because I was thoroughly impressed with the food, the décor, the service, and the extensive menu. There are so many dishes I want to come back and try. From the moment we walked in, the restaurant impressed us with its vibrant, themed décor and incredibly friendly staff who made us feel right at home. Warm tortilla chips with chunky salsa and glasses of water were brought to our table immediately after we sat down, which was a great start. They have a full-service bar, and while they don't offer frozen cocktails, we honestly didn't miss them. I had a coconut margarita, and my husband enjoyed a passionfruit rum cocktail. He doesn't drink tequila, so I asked if rum could be substituted, and they were more than happy to accommodate. He chose a Tajín rim, while I opted for sugar instead of salt. Both drinks were strong, flavorful, and served in really nice, heavy margarita glasses. We both chose specials from the House Special Grill, and wow--what a great decision. My husband had the skirt steak and jumbo shrimp, served with a creamy corn salsa, and he loved every bite. I ordered the grilled steak with sautéed onions, homemade tortillas, cactus pad (nopales), rice, and beans. Everything tasted fresh, authentic, and perfectly prepared. We ended the night on a high note with dessert--one of the best flans I've ever had--paired with a glass of hot Mexican coffee. Absolutely delicious. Amazing food, great drinks, welcoming service, and a fun atmosphere. Highly recommend!

The food is top quality and service is excellent. the restaurant is also quite well decorated for such a miniscule place. The only caveat keeping this review from being five stars is the price. Mexican fare is known for being hearty, large portioned and affordable and having now patronized this establishment twice, I can say it is two of the three. The lofty price tag will unfortunately keep me from becoming a regular. Still, it is a nice treat once in a blue moon. Good show, overall. Fare: 5/5 Price: $$$

As a solo diner, you can sometimes be overlooked, so I was pleasantly surprised with the attentive and cheerful service I received. Everything was on point: yummy food that didn't take forever to arrive, my server checking in regularly and clean & pleasant surroundings. I was so impressed, that I complimented the manager, Wai, who couldn't have been nicer. Let's be honest: a lot of restaurants make you feel like a burden when you just want to enjoy a meal that you didn't have to cook yourself and I definitely didn't feel that way here.
