Didn't know Mamaroneck would have a place of this quality. No offense to Mamaroneck but I didn't peg it as an old school italian town. This is your classic deli that checks off all boxes. They have italians running the show and they are even speaking the language with the customers. It is always a good sign when the bread comes from terranova bakery which is a top quality bakery near Arthur Ave. The sesame seed long roll is the way to go. I ordered a chicken cutlet sandwich with american, roasted peppers, and balsamic. It was one of the best sandwiches I have had in a while. So good. I also tried the chicken salad sandwich and it was good but I would stick to the italian sandwiches next time. I want to try the fried eggplant sandwich too. This is one of those places you have to check out when in the area. Portions are big and prices are right too. You don't find too many of these places anymore but glad I did.

This is what they said was rare

I didn't realize they had well-done roast beef and railroads beef. They made the sandwich and I asked if it was rare. The guy went over looked at it said absolutely. When I got back to eat my sandwich it was well done. Normally give these guys in A plus but today they get a C.

You can what looks like gelatin like metallic flakes sitting in the bottom.

The fresh burrata was great as well as the pre packaged crostini. Just be aware of beverages and check expiration. My wife ended up drinking a 10 YEAR OLD bottle of Acqua Panna. Quite disturbing to be honest knowing that there has been no recent rotation of stock or inventory checklist being the water was produced in 2011 and expired in 2013. Just an FYI.

This is what Cosmo and Alex sold to me and family for thanksgiving. Not fit for human consumption. In what universe is this a fried turkey
    Peter S.

Las week for Thanksgiving the Reverend had her daughter in law order us a fried turkey for Thanksgiving and it was the most disgustingly un- edible, unfit for human consumption. Wouldn't even serve it to a dog. What made it worse is that when I contacted the Pisano Bros. He couldn't care less. He said send a photo. I haven't heard one thing from them so I am posting a picture of this disgusting meal they sold to my family for thanksgiving.

    Layered perfectly!!

The most incredible Italian combo hero that I've ever had for the money. 6.75 and enough to easily feed two people(or one of me). The bread was perfect. The cold cuts were of high quality. The veggies were crisp. The price was right. My good buddy at Pops Espresso told me to give them a try and I was absolutely blown away! This is hands down my new favorite deli on the area. Oh... The bread pudding is to die for here.

Far far from good, ratatouille could of cook better than them,I feel sorry to throw food away, but this had it's Destiny. I'm sorry but this is the last time I go here. I don't know about the sandwiches, but FOOD horrible!!! Look at the crap in the picture for 13.00 !!!

My sister and I ordered food, before anyone else came into the restaurant. My latte came in a soup bowl. I could barely pick it up. We ordered the pancakes and eggs. My entire plate was meat and I had two very small eggs. The bread was very stale and hard. It also took over 45 minutes to come out. Save your money. There are much better restaurants around here.

They have several tables in the front and additional seating in the back. Our waiter was very kind and accommodating. To drink, I had a mocktail. I was worried it would be too sweet because it included sprite and cranberry juice, but it was actually very pleasant and bursting with flavor. For my main, I had the frittata. It was tasty. Some of the broccoli rabe was a little tough to chew, but not too bad. It was topped with a generous portion of cheese. I loved the tender mushrooms. My husband got the cozze. The portion of mussels was large and he enjoyed the sauce. We also shared the cinnamon french toast, which was delicious. It didn't even need syrup as it was perfectly sweet with the cream and berries on top. Even so, they had several syrups to choose from including amber and maple. Looking forward to coming back to try the dinner menu.

I had my bridal shower at Alessia's on June 6th, and I honestly don't think I have ever experienced such incredible service and positive energy. Not only was the food amazing, but the atmosphere was absolutely perfect. What truly sets Alessia's apart is how personable Anthony and Antonella are. They take the time to get to know their guests and make everyone feel welcomed, valued, and cared for. Their genuine warmth and hands-on involvement create an experience that goes far beyond great food and service, it makes you feel like family. Anthony, Antonella, and their staff went above and beyond to help me create the best possible experience for both myself and my guests. Their attention to detail, kindness, and genuine care made the day even more special. Alessia's was already one of my fiancé's and my favorite restaurants, but after this experience, we've also chosen to host our rehearsal dinner there in October. The way they treat their guests is truly exceptional, and it's clear that they put their hearts into everything they do. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

The dining room was moderately packed, but with a reservation we were seated right away. Street parking can be tight, but there's ample parking in the rear and valet was available that night, which made things easy. The space feels modern and open, with a strong bar program and a solid list of specialty cocktails. My Smoked Old Fashioned arrived releasing a rich, smoky aroma that immediately set the tone. We started with Alessia's Crostone and the Hot Antipasto, a generous spread of shrimp, baked clams, calamari, mussels, and eggplant parm. I ordered the Frutti di Mare, and they did not hold back on the seafood. Clams, mussels, calamari, and shrimp layered over pasta in a bright marinara made for a balanced, satisfying dish. Others had the Shrimp Milanese, crisp and vibrant with arugula and red wine vinaigrette. Portions are ample, service is attentive without rushing you, and the restaurant has a warmth that's hard to fake. When birthdays are celebrated, the sparkler candle and music bring the whole room together. This remains one of our go-to spots.

We will usually stay with a spot for a few years, grow tired of it, and then try somewhere new. That is what brought us to 25 North. For the preceding three Easters, we were at another restaurant in Westchester - however it grew stale. I decided to look at other options, and remember having a great meal here at 25 North back in 2018 when I originally wrote my review. That being said, we booked it and made plans to dine here for Easter Sunday dinner. As I expected being a holiday, I walked into a crowded and loud restaurant. The layout is interesting - the dining room is separated into three levels with a small flight of stairs separating each of them. We were seated on the top level of the dining area, which was the best place in my opinion as it was the quietest- we were 19 people and only two other tables were in our vicinity. Decor was inoffensive - typical Westchester Italian restaurant aesthetics. What I liked about the Easter service at 25 North was that we were able to order off the regular menu - though they did have a few specials for the holiday. We decided to order apps family style for the table: drunken clams, string bean salad, sausage and broccoli rabe rolls, and fried calamari. These were all solid; the drunken clams were by far my favorite - super flavorful sauce and served with sausage and big cloves of garlic. The weakest IMO were the sausage and broccoli rabe rolls - I will say its partly because I expected more of a bread roll, but these were like egg rolls which made them a little to greasy for me. The sauce it came with though was tasty with a mild heat. For my main I got one of their specials - crab stuffed shrimp. This was six generally stuffed shrimp served on top of spinach in a light sauce. I really liked this dish - even though it looked like a lot, the crabmeat was light and the spinach made it so I didn't feel stuffed after finishing the dish. For dessert, I had tiramisu - on the menu they described it as a slice of goodness and that's exactly what it was. Service was great - they were on top of it and made sure food came out at a good pace and we were fully taken care of. Overall, my holiday experience at 25 North solidified my opinion that this is one of the best Italian restaurants in Westchester. I'll definitely be back sooner rather than later.
