I didn't have to look any further. I got the tropical sunset butterfly pea sparkling spritzer with coconut jelly. Starbucks, eat your heart out with that drink name! My drink came in one size: large. I got it with less ice and no sugar (it's called minimal sweet here). My friend was kind to take me here, so the least that I could do was get the tab on her bubble tea. She chose a regular strawberry green tea QQ. She could have ordered every topping available on the menu, but she had composure and didn't break my bank. It's funny. It had a cantaloupe base with a subtle sweetness to it. The coconut jelly provided a nice chewy contrast. My drink was so good and perfect on a hot summer day. My friend enjoyed her drink. With QQ drinks, they come with tapioca and your choice of any jelly. I thought that the flexibility was nice. We tend to take our bubble tea the same way, so she went no sugar and less ice, too. I never got around to coming back to try the dim sum. I had been craving dumplings during my vacation and other establishments that I had frequented satisfied that ongoing want. Friendly service, great food, but best to pop in for as there isn't much in the way of seating. My favourite drink there is the Yuzu Ginger Seltzer boba which is absolutely SCRUMPTIOUS. And she really enjoyed it. I was just going to get her a bubble tea but when I saw they had a special on for 2 large drinks for $11 (selected flavours and Taro Smoothie was one of the flavours), I decided to get one too. I got the Mango Probiotic Yogurt drink and added crystal pearls for an additional $0.60. My mom added regular tapioca pearls to her drink (was also an additional $0.60). I got my drink without any added sugar, while my mom chose half the amount of regular sugar. We were both satisfied with the sweetness level of our drinks. They were generous with the toppings and we enjoyed our drinks. Service was pleasant. There's lots of seating available inside. Free parking in the plaza parking lot. The drinks themselves both gave a strange after taste. It made drinking the milk teas quite difficult. The pearls themselves were also bland. We were both quite disappointed. The drinks are roughly the same prices as other bubble tea shops so we are inclined to spend our money elsewhere. It's unfortunate. We may, if the opportunity presents itself, try other teas there like the fresh fruits. Maybe it was just the milk teas that are off? But it's definitely not something I'm hoping to try again.
