7/11/26 Came here today with a group of friends. We shared many popular items! Sophia and Amelia were so nice, great people here! We loved their service! To start, I ordered a refreshing Iced Honey green tea to drink. This place was so clean inside and outside. We had all great dishes to eat. We had Cucumber salad, Xiao Long Bao, Pan fried pork bao, Won Ton in Chili Oil, Chongqing spicy fried chicken, stir fried green beans, house special chow mein noodles, cold noodles with sesame sauce, oil splashed hand made noodles, layered beef wrap, and a Chinese burger with roasted pork! Everything was so good!!! My favorite two items were the spicy fried chicken and the Xiao long bao dumplings!!! Although everything was great! Overall, everything had its own unique flavors and they have so many choices to offer. I definitely highly recommend everyone who reads this to please go and check this place out! Tons of parking. Upon walking in I was greeted immediately. Asked if it was here or for to go. I placed my order to go. Inside is very clean. New and remodeled. The staff was extremely helpful. The service is excellent here. Very quick, professional and happy. I ordered the following. Chow mein special. This was decent. Not the best I've had but also not the worst. Would I order it again? Probably not as it's lacking flavor. However there's reason I gave it 5 stars for food. And it wasn't that. Hot n sour soup. Again very light on flavor. Which sometimes with hot and sour soup that's good. It was LOADED with veggies, tofu and chicken. The portions here are excellent. Chili sauce wantons. Amazing. Their wantons and dumplings here are extremely good. Something you cannot go wrong with if you enjoy both. Flavor is perfect. Portion is great. And display is excellent. Cucumber salad. Fresh, sauced up and displayed well. Can't go wrong with this either. Honey green tea. The right amount of sweet. Mr. Noodle is a beautiful restaurant off Sixth Street. Love the airiness and the decor in the restaurant. Came in and ordered a to go meal so I didn't sit in to eat. Will definitely have to try that in the future because it looks like a nice sit down restaurant. I loved all the choices in food and ended up going with chicken wings and the braised beef noodle bowl. Both had a lot of potential but there was not any flavor in either of the items. I loved the crunch of the chicken wings and it had a lot of potential but it seems like no seasonings were added to the mix. Similarly, with the braised beef bowl, a little better, but no depth in flavor. I probably should have asked for spicy but the foundational flavor was just missing. Even without the flavor, it tasted ok so that's the reason for the rating of 4. I will definitely try again in person and try something else because I think there's a lot of potential with the restaurant. I noticed this new spot recently and figured I'd give it a try. Tonight I snagged the green onion pancake, the house fried rice and wonton soup. The onion pancake was my favorite. House fried rice was pretty good. The soup was okay but good. The broth felt a little plain to me. I walked in around seven pm and it was slow. My order came out quickly. Lots of parking. Big restaurant. Excellent and attentive service. Tried many popular items. Spicy cucumber salad was refreshing and only mildly spicy. Green beans were cooked well with a nice crunch and flavor. My favorite was the chongqing chicken - explosion of flavors and spices. Pan fried dumpling was a close second favorite - meat filling was generous and delicious. I also really enjoyed the cold noodles with sesame sauce - very peanuty and refreshing. Wontons in chili oil are worth getting for the flavorful chili oil to coat other dishes with. Wouldn't order the XLB or house special chow mein again - standard dishes. read more

One of the servers (gentleman with glasses) always has great recommendations. There's also a woman (maybe a manager) that's always attentive to everyone. nice clean place in the street side corner of a strip mall. Easy parking and when i went (about 45 min before close) was not busy. Good fresh noodles and spiciness levels. The braised beef was good but think I will try the spicy one next time. Fried rice is good and so is the chow mein. The wontons are ok, good spice but filling is just ok. The mapo tofu is good too. There is another business named Mr. Noodle in the Los Angeles area, but it does not appear this business is affiliated with them. The Los Angeles location features Thai cuisine. This one is Chinese and specializes in many different types of dumplings and noodle dishes. They have been open for approximately one month. Unfortunately, I write this review with little enthusiasm. Where earlier reviewers have found the food to be good to excellent and a great substitute for driving to the Monterey Park and Arcadia area, we did not feel that way. In fact, we have found really good Chinese restaurants are few and far between, but we have found a handful in the Inland Empire within a short driving distance that do meet our expectations. I cannot attest to authenticity, since there are so many regions in China that we Americans are not familiar with, but I do know, any leftovers we brought home have sadly been ignored. We ordered 3 dishes, Mapo Tofu, Biang-biang noodles, and Salt and Pepper Shrimp, and requested them prepared as non-spicy. The mapo tofu had a unique flavor in the sauce, one I am unable to identify, but had a kind of floral flavor to it and appeared lightly seasoned with a black bean sauce. While those special ingredients were a pleasant surprise, the overall sauce had problems, partially due to the glaringly red, pulverized semi-spicy pepper ingredient. It also seemed to be shortchanged on typically traditional flavors (e.g. garlic, onion, soy sauce, peanut oil?) that create the beautiful, complex flavor combinations that I admire in my favorite Chinese food. On the positive side, the dish had a lot of ground pork and a huge amount of tofu. Very generous. Wish the sauce had tasted better. The leftovers we did bring home with the intention of trying to modify it. This is the first time we have had Biang-biang noodles. This dish is a combination of minced pork, scrambled egg, tomato, that has been stir fried in a red, semi-spicy sauce, and with very thick, rice noodles. I could take or leave the sauce, but the homemade noodles were simply too thick and heavy, and cooked al dente so they were quite chewy. It did not work for me at all. We did not even consider bringing the leftovers home. Lastly were the salt and pepper shrimp. First of all, these are headless and shelled, battered, then fried. My personal favorite are not battered at all and have the shell and head left on. These were greasy and overcooked, a total disappointment in my eyes, and not worthy of a repeat. While they have an interesting, large menu, the things we tasted were enough for us to realize this is unlikely to be a place we will return. read more

As someone who frequents Rowland Heights or the Arcadia area for Chinese food, it's nice to have a go-to spot that's local for my Chinese food. Service: Our server was super sweet and extremely responsive. Food also came out quick as well so we didn't have to wait too long in between ordering, appetizers, and our main entree. Ambiance: Super clean and spacious. This place can hold a large group easily. There's also plenty of parking at the plaza it's located at. Price: This place is SO affordable compared to majority of restaurants these days. The portion size for the food is also insane. It felt like a crime how much food we got for the price point. Food: I came in with low expectations but was so happy to be proven wrong. The spicy beef noodle soup was good! It's different compared to other beef noodle soup places I have (not in a bad way) and the soup itself just reminds me of a homemade soup your mom would make. My partner got the non-spicy one beef noodle soup and that soup lacked a bit of umami/salt. I would say between the spicy and non-spicy, the spicy one was better since the satay added that needed umami. The beef rolls were a hit with all of us! Definitely a highlight and I'll definitely be ordering this each time I go. The popcorn chicken was also delicious! It's taiwanese style and the batter to chicken ratio was great. Came here during their soft opening with a friend a couple weeks ago and it was great! We were given a choice for a complimentary beverage for their soft opening and the menu had a lot of different dishes to offer. The space itself was very open and clean, and we had one waitress who waited on everyone within the restaurant (it was a small crowd due to their recent opening) who was very attentive and helpful during our time there. I already knew that I would like the pan fried pork bao but we asked our waitress what she would recommend from the stir fry dishes. She asked if we were okay with spice (we were) and recommended either the Chongqing spicy fried chicken or the spicy stir fried beef stomach. My friend and I were sharing the meal and I think we were a little hesitant to try the stomach since we've never had stomach before! So we went with the fried chicken with a side of rice and wow was that great! The chicken itself was similar to popcorn chicken that you might find at a boba restaurant, but it was filled with peppers (I think it was Szechuan) and it wasn't exactly *spicy* per se, but it definitely left a nice, comfortable tingle in your mouth. When we asked for a side of spicy sauce she came out with that as well as a vinegar bottle and recommended to try it with the bao buns. And while my friend doesn't like vinegar, the vinegar itself didn't have a strong bite to it and was actually closer to a sweet soy? SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL MOM AND POP! Biang biang noodles, are handmade rice noodles that are chewy and flavorful; they're thick, belt-like hand-pulled noodles native to China's Shaanxi province. Biang biang is the slapping sound it makes when the noodle dough stretches and hits/drops bouncing back up against a table surface before cooking. Definite a favorite and you don't find it in a lot of places nowadays. Though XiaoLongBao wrapper isn't as thin as DTF's but it's still juicy and flavorful inside. We were a bit disappointed with the fried rice as the rice was too wets and mushy; it was more like a "moved around/tossed" rice than that nice dry fried rice. Cold seaweed was a good appetizer too. We do wish they carry pig ear, seaweed knots, beancurd, brisket .. you know at least like a Taiwanese Braised Cold Dish then I'll be going in twice a week! My wife and I stopped by Mr.Noodle for lunch and let me tell you the best Chinese food we've had since we moved here 3 years ago. We enter the restaurant and are seated immediately! This place has some real pros and cons. Food is very good. Restaurant is big and clean. Downsides: menu has no pictures and they have some things that you don't see on normal Americanized Chinese restaurant menus--so I had to use the pictures on yelp to figure out what to order. They also don't use any of the apps like DD or UE, so if you want the food you have to go to the restaurant. I think they would do a ton of takeout business. Prices are decent for the large portions. read more
