    Country Fried Steak and Potatoes

Best brunch spot in Corona hands down. No frills, homemade food that doesn't break the bank. Cute decor transporting you to the beach. Their gravy and thin sliced potatoes are so well seasoned and tasty.

Denver omelette, plain pancake, side of fruit

If you're hungry for a hearty breakfast, this place will satisfy that craving. I decided to check out this place after having it bookmarked for awhile. Yes, the interior isn't anything fancy. There aren't any comfy booths. It's not a place for ambiance. But it's comfortable enough where you just focus on enjoying the food that's in front of you. After perusing their extensive menu (that looked like a newspaper), I settled on a Denver omelette with fruit instead of hashbrowns and one pancake instead of toast. I immediately knew that the omelette would be good after one look. It was generous in portion, fluffy in texture, and covered with thinly shredded cheese. Cooked to perfection. The pancake was a curveball. I didn't expect the cinnamon taste. It looked thick and fluffy as well. The outside was slightly crispy but the inside was still gooey in some parts. It had a doughy flour taste that I wasn't used to. Maybe I'll try something else next time. Oh and the coffee was just okay. More on the acidic and bitter side, even with the hazelnut creamer. Service was excellent. The waitress checked on us frequently and filled our coffee cups. I'd still call this a neighborhood gem. It's quirky, imperfect, but full of character!

Do you really wanna? Do you really wanna taste it? The Lone Ranger (BP Risin' plus eggs & cheese) from #CowboySurferGrill

Of all the ways to ingest potatoes I think sliced potatoes is one of my favorites right along with hash browns and tots. Whether it's the mojo potatoes from Shakey's, to the Saratoga chips in the Cinicinnati area, to the potatoes au gratin at Ruth's Chris'--there's something about soft sliced potatoes that makes it amazing to eat. Cowboy Surfer Grill turns this amazing culinary advancement into the perfect breakfast base by plopping a country-fried steak on top and covering it in gravy for their BP Risin' breakfast plate. Then, to be extra wicked, they put fried eggs on top, add more gravy, and then add cheese to the mix to make the even better Lone Ranger breakfast plate. It's all very delicious and appetizing and dangerous. The service is especially great with some of the most friendly servers I've had in the last five years. They're the type to take you under their wing if you're new to the food joint but also treat you like you've been friends for years if you start coming regularly. The place is small, but cozy. The decor has a decidedly beach feel to mixed with an outdoor rustic ruggedness. I like it. It's very inviting in its aesthetic. I'm definitely coming back here because that Lone Ranger is super addictive.

BP rising - Country fried steak and potatoes.

I had a great breakfast at Cowboy Surfer Grill in Corona. The food was delicious! I ordered the BP Rising country fried steak with potatoes, and it was packed with flavor. I also tried the breakfast combo with the blueberry sourdough pancakes, and they were amazing. Everything was fresh, cooked perfectly, and the portions were generous. I'll definitely be coming back!

Great food at a great price. A local place where everyone knows someone.Staff are fantastic!! I'm just sad they don't have Diet Coke, just Coke Zero . I can't stomach Coke Zero.

Breakfast BLT with avocado and curly fries

My friend took me to Cowboy Surfer grill for my birthday breakfast. I had never been. I am pleased to have been show this delicious spot. I got the breakfast BLT with avocado. Having an egg on a BLT was so good. Why have I never thought of that before?!? I also got curly fries because I was told their ranch was delicious! And I'm happy I listened. I want to go back for chicken tendies so I can scoop up the ranch! The service was good, even though it was packed. We sat outside. They were quick to bring drinks and utensils. We did have to go in to see if we can order, but that was the only negative. The ladies were so friendly. I will definitely be back!

    Blueberry Pancakes

Tried something different for breakfast and ordered the Blueberry Pancakes. The Pancakes here are huge, so I asked if they could make me 3 smaller blueberry pancakes and they obliged. The service here is always welcoming and friendly.

    Breakfast Combo

Went here for a late breakfast and were not disappointed. The service was attentive and friendly and the coffee was immediate! We ordered the Steve n Kathy omelette and the Breakfast Combo. The food was good ole hometown Mom n Pop type cooking. Flavorful and delicious! Really enjoyed the inside decor and seating was ample. Will definitely return next time I am in the area.

Our server was incredibly friendly and spoke to us like we'd been friends for years. She was so cool. It included peach, pineapple, strawberry, cranberry, orange, pomegranate, and I think mango (can't remember the last one, sorry!). I love that the glasses were actually filled. A total chaos and a complete failure on the service of the restaurant especially on my birthday breakfast that was ruined. It's because of this I got very familiar with Swedish Crepes or Pancakes, as some might call them. I don't know if they were ever my favorite style of pancakes but they were always an option on those rare occasions I wanted something with more fruit than blueberry. Tara always appreciated me making an effort to broaden my perspective on what a good pancake or crepe constituted. That being said, I hardly ever run into great Swedish crepes. Usually the butter or compote is sub-standard, and I usually feel like I should've gotten something different. Silver Dollar Pancake House makes some majestic Swedish crepes. Yes, it's more of a cranberry than a lingonberry, but otherwise the compote and Swedish butter are spot-on. The crepes came out nice and thin, but still super flavorful. Everything came together so great. Even the fact the special comes with six sausages after you switch out the bacon is amazing. I would get this deal over and over again. The service at the counter was frenzied and focused. Every time I needed my coffee refilled, the server was on it. The food came quickly and there were frequent check-ins. It's literally everything you could want in customer service at a counter. Yes, the ambiance is bit crowded and a bit hectic. I don't envy trying to get a seat in the dining room because everything is but cramped up in there. That being said, I don't think anyone waited longer than fifteen minutes and folks seemed genuinely glad to be there. It's the price you pay for eating at a popular breakfast spot with breakfast entrees this delicious. Plus, eating at the counter always seemed open. And from someone who hates eating at counters most of the time, that's saying a lot that I would suggest it as a viable option. Overall, this is the dream place for those like Tara who can't get enough of pancakes and a damn good option for those like me who are content to keep their amateur status intact by only occasionally indulging in the Swedish signature dish.
