Chocolats Favoris - chocolate soft serve with super dark chocolate dip

I will definitely return for gifts for others and soft serve for myself.

I opted not going for any of the "kooky" combinations advertised as they looked WAY too sweet for me. There's only 3 soft serve flavours here. Vanilla, chocolate or twist (vanilla + choco). But in terms of coatings/dips, they have a TON. I spent a good 15 min deciding which dip I wanted to go with. The owner (I presume) was the one who took my order when I walked up to the register. He highly recommended that I opt for a waffle cone if I was going for a classic dip (I was leaning towards just getting a cup). He was so adamant that he threw in the waffle cone for free! Super nice guy and great customer service! Got a medium size, chocolate soft-serve with extra dark chocolate shell/exterior. These scoops are very generous. I prolly could've done with a small tbh since I was SOOO FULL after dinner loool. But yea, I'm glad I went with dark chocolate on chocolate soft-serve because the whole dessert was not sweet at all which I really enjoyed. If I'm back in the area one day with my gf, I'll take her here and share a dessert with her!

The interior isn't too big but they do have seats with tables. They also have a large selection of icecream tubs as well, milk, cheese, snacks and merch. One thing I would note, is that depending on the worker, the size of the ice cream varies. Nonetheless, the baby size feels more than enough to me personally. I highly recommend coming, especially during the summer seasons when you're looking for a nice cooling dessert. ALSO!! If you check out their instagram every now and again, they post a BOGO coupon for an icecream cone!

The serving sizes are generous, got the baby size which is a little bigger than a softball. They did not allow two flavours which is disappointing as I can clearly see they have 30+ flavours to choose from. For two flavours you have to get small or huge. That is a ridiculous amount of ice cream to eat to just be able to enjoy two flavours for a more enjoyable palette. I think they may benefit from having customers pay first and then get their ice cream. Customers who had ice cream cones had to wait in line to pay and their ice cream was melting and dripping onto the floor which made it sticky. Sometimes less is more, in this situation I would have opted to have less ice cream but to be able to enjoy two flavours.

A delicious Japanese restaurant in Aurora!…read more My friends have been here and raving to go back to dine here so I had to go with them to check it out myself. I'm never in Aurora, so I'm unfamiliar with the area. I'm not sure if there's much around but it's facing a main road that is pretty busy. We made a reso and the service was great. Opted for their premium set ($50) each which is what my friends raved about and can say it's a solid 4.5/5! The sushi is fresh, fish is great quality and delicious. We also got their uni sushi on the side to share so we each got one piece each and it was amazing! Great quality uni that was sweet and creamy. Overall, I thought the restaurant was great and affordable with amazing quality! I understand why my friends make the trek out here to eat!

We sat at the bar area and got to see the chefs hard at work. The care, the precision and the details. Just wow. Prices are a bit high for a casual meal but definitely you are paying for quality. Ordered the premium set combo(ordered the chirashi box as well but will explain later). There is some caviar on the torched roll and little details in the different pieces. The combo came with a few sides. Came with a nice rich broth soup. There was a steamed egg with mushrooms which was so light but rich in flavour. There was salad as well which was refreshing. If you give them a Google review (don't worry I am loyal to yelp), they give you a few extra pieces as well. We also tried the fried oysters which came out fresh and hot and it was delicious. I definitely would be going back, just when I have more time. The only negative I have is the wait. From sitting and ordering, the food came a bit over an hour after. Was in a bit of a rush so had to cancel the chirashi box. Would have loved to try it. Place was rammed. Speaking with the waiter, it was unusually busy. I can't even be mad, they had one guy basically running around doing a lot of hard work. He and the chefs were very apologetic, giving us the oysters as an apology. They were not expecting a full house on a snowy Thursday. I can see why they had a crowd though. Food is amazing. Staff is great. Will definitely be going back

It has been popular among locals since they opened in 2008. The prices are quite reasonable at $3 for 1 scoop and $4 for 2 scoops. Even banana splits are only $5. All prices include taxes! We had a 2-scoop cone: Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and Pralines & Cream. Both scoops were creamy and tasty. My son really loved them but I did manage to get a little bit of both flavours. There is some savoury food served too like hot dogs, fries, poutine, and coffees. It is owned by a husband and wife team: George and Irene. Both are very pleasant people. They love having fun signs such as: "adults must be accompanied by children" and "children left unattended in this store will be sold to the circus". You can only pay by cash or e-transfer. There is no phone number because I can see they are extremely busy. You can still contact them via social media. There are picnic tables outside. During pandemic times, all staff and customers wear face masks and there is plexiglass used. Only one family is allowed in the small order area at a time. Just outside the entrance, you can be entertained by a famous saxaphone player, Orlando (a Cuban), during nice the afternoons. Today (2021-09-05), we were lucky to also have a guest keyboardist also from Cuba. There is no free WiFi. It is wheelchair  accessible. You can use a washroom by request. Parking may not be easy to find but people tend to parking in the large parking lot behind to store. Review 2021-084 You can also find me on Instagram @chuan_chee. Thanks.

It's really a mish mash of stuff. The ice cream sold here is Kawartha Dairy, so that bit is pretty standard. But the servings are pretty big & a single is only $3 and a double $4, including tax. So it's cheaper than going to a Kawartha outlet They only accept cash & etransfer. The guy is pretty friendly, though there were some ice crystals in the ice cream.
