After reviewing the invoice and speaking with other plumbers, we learned that this type of repair typically costs a few hundred dollars, even accounting for a service call. Jonathan explained that Apollo operates on flat-rate pricing. He first presented a $13,000 plumbing replacement option, which did not seem relevant to the emergency repair we had requested to restore water service. He also offered a membership plan. The invoice lists a flat-rate package titled "Repair 1/2" Copper Pipe up to 10'." In reality, only a short section of pipe was removed and replaced with PEX. While the repair restored water to the house, the price felt extremely high relative to the scope of work performed. I recommend homeowners get multiple quotes before approving work, especially for emergency repairs.
