Hated it. Got the mushrooms, fries and flounder. The mushrooms were not fresh, they were obviously frozen then fried. Some only had very small pieces of mushroom surrounded by thick batter. I'm tired of fries and picky about Mac and cheese so I asked if the potato salad was homemade 3 times as was told yes so that's what I ordered. My food was ready in about 10 minutes and I couldn't wait to get it home and try it out. So first off, the portion size of the side was minuscule and was the same size of condiments I was given for the wings and it definitely wasn't homemade. Who doesn't love good fried chicken? They cook the chicken to order so it's hot and fresh. I placed my order when I arrived and it was like a 15-20 minute wait. They also sprinkle some sort of seasoning on the chicken. It's not overpowering the fried chicken but it adds to the flavor. When I went inside, the workers and customers were wearing a mask. I got the 6 piece chicken wing which comes with 2 sides for $7.99. However, only a few sides like fries are included in that price. I got fried okra for one of my sides and that was a $1.50 upcharge. Pricey and finicky about their pricing. As in, they have a note on their menu that says they can change their pricing at any time. I wanted fish by itself, since there's an upcharge for any side BUT fries. I find out that fish is the same price by itself as it is with the combo. Very expensive. Not my cup of tea. Hopefully they'll revisit their pricing soon since this is an area where you can easily find fish and chicken (like, down the street) for less than what they charge. read more

We got take out from Mr. Shark the other day. It's The type of casual spot that is a good pop in and out type of place. Both of us ordered the 3 piece fish-- trout and whiting-- with 2 sides. They have a couple of options, which is nice. They gave a tartar and a cocktail sauce each per order (is this the Chicago mild sauce another reviewer refers to?!). We both thought the fish portion was great, but sides on the hush puppies and Mac and cheese were small. Fries were a good portion size. The fish was fried and seasoned nicely (it smelled great in the bag!). One thing to note-- Remember to pick out the bones, since they fry up what feels like whole fish. read more

Me and my husband decided to order from here tonight because our daughter likes their fried chicken. Now, if you're looking for fancy dining, this is not that type of spot. I actually tried it on a whim when the Zaxby's right around the corner closed at 8pm (huh?). I'm really glad I did! I visited this establishment for the first time yesterday afternoon. It appeared to be a nice little mom and pop restaurant and not busy at all so I thought ok let me try them out. I go in the ONLY person there and placed my order and two others came in after me. When my order and the guy that entered after me were up (at the same time) the the cashier decided to grab the mans order and hand it to him and rang him up for additional items. So when I stepped to the counter I mentioned this to her and she laughs and says so you mad? Now this takes me back a bit and I told her no I'm not I'm just bringing this to her attention, well this girl now has this arrogant attitude and takes her time giving me my order. I tell her give me my order so I can go she tells me she doesn't have to give me anything (wrong answer after I paid for it) she raises her voice and steps in view where her father can see her as we are now both raising our voices and she throws my order on the counter. Now her father comes out to defuse the situation and she says something to him in their language and storms in the back. I let him know what was said before he came out so he didn't think I was just verbally abusing his daughter he was very apologetic but the damage was already done with her smart mouth. But the moral of the story is they need to get a better cashier in there! I will NEVER visit there again and will discourage others from going there as well. I am giving them this score because they have a policy where they give you 1 container of ranch dressing per order of 6 pc full wings. We order 32 wings on multiple orders and only got 4 small containers of ranch dressing. I spent almost $100 on plates for the family and they would not give us extra dressing with out paying for it.
