I ordered the Seafood Platter. It took only a few minutes since it was raining. The food was good. I tried ever without sauce first. Seafood potato salad was really good. That didn't last long. The crab cake was deep fried and nice a brown. Before I knew it, it was gone. The larger shrimp and fish were good. Food over is 5 stars. But then comes the customer service. I used the drive-thru with you give your order to come under the patio cover. Cash only does make it hard for people to pay who aren't familiar with Nesbit. Once I received the change back, it was almost like it was throw at me. The server did apologize so I didn't take offense to it. Wish they asked you if you needed something else like Ketchup, Hot Sauce or Mustard. I shouldn't have to stop at Popeyes to pick up sauces for the food on the go.

The FGT were ok and a bit under seasoned, but the flounder and that sauce were great! Silky, creamy and tender! Our server was very kind and checked on us without hovering. Charity was helpful in offering suggestions, as well. Over all it was fun, good company and food. The parking leaves a lot to be desired where you're more than likely going to park along the street away from the restaurant.

I drove on home to enjoy my lunch.. & low and behold when I opened my food my fried oyster were dark brown and burnt.. I was so mad because that wasn't the first time I've gotten fried oysters and they were fried too long.. the sweet potato fries weren't burnt at all and that immediately made me feel like my oysters were old and refried from the day before.. I was so upset because I felt like since it was the beginning of their day I would get fresh food .. my boil bag was ok.. but I thought wrong.. Best decision we could have made. From the second we walked in, the staff took great care of us. Super friendly, welcoming, and on it the whole time. The food came out fast, hot, and everything was on point. The seafood was fresh, the fried items were crispy and clean, not greasy, and the sauces were legit. You can tell they care about what they're putting out. And then we topped it off by taking a whole key lime pie home with us which was just as good as everything else. They even took a photo of our family for us, which was a cool touch and just shows the kind of place this is. Safe to say what started as a backup plan just turned into our new favorite seafood spot.
