I checked in after probably a 20in wait. They said it would come out shortly. I asked them to redrop the fries since they had been sitting. Wow, I've never been more disappointed eating Arabic food. I actually felt sick to my stomach. I ordered a combo for two, but they didn't have any spinach pies, meat pies, grape leaves with meat, or even veggie grape leaves. I asked to substitute the baba ghanoush with fries, and they put them in a big Styrofoam container so hot that by the time I got home they were soggy from the steam. The falafel was so dry I took one bite and tossed the rest. The chicken had no flavor at all, the meat needed way more seasoning, and they forgot both fattoush salads. This was right around lunchtime, yet the rice was untouched, dry, and tasteless. On top of that, I saw the cook touching all sorts of things without gloves, and the place was filthy. The photos I have were taken just before everything went into the trash, and I hate wasting food. I tried this restaurant recently and overall had a pretty good experience with a few things that could be improved. I ordered the shawarma combo, and the chicken shawarma was definitely the highlight--moist, flavorful, and well-seasoned. The beef shawarma, on the other hand, was a bit dry and didn't have as much flavor as I hoped. The side of rice was also on the dry side, but it actually tasted good underneath that, so a little more moisture would've made it perfect. I also got a chicken shawarma sandwich, which was solid. The garlic sauce was delicious and the pickles added a nice tangy bite. I just wish the wrap had a bit more chicken in it because the garlic ended up overpowering the meat with the ratio they used. The fresh bread they serve is amazing, though--soft, warm, and absolutely perfect with the garlic sauce. Honestly, I could eat that bread alone. Overall, there were definite hits and a few misses, but nothing that wouldn't stop me from coming back. With a couple little adjustments, this place could be great. read more

I am so glad we stopped here today. This family owned restaurant has amazing food. We started out with hot, fresh saj bread and garlic sauce. I got the beef kafta and chicken shawarma dinner plate while my son and friend Aidan gor beef shawarma wraps with fries. Everything was tasty. The service was very pleasant as the owner came out to greet us and even treated us to his baklava which was excellent. We came away full with leftovers (had to get some meat pies to go). The setting is smaller with a bench to sit at so more of a takeout spot, but you'll be happy to stop here. I would like to come back soon. Definitely good middle eastern food. read more

Yum. This place is amazing. The food we ordered the hummus with topping. So delicious. I love Ike's hummus with topping and this is different than Ike's but I think I might like this one a little better! It has a little lemon flavor in the topping and the flavor of good quality olive oil! The hummus itself is so smooth and incredible flavor too. Hey all: I have stopped in here a couple of times since new ownership took over. They are significantly better quality food now! Raydan has worked the checkout the last few times I've been there...he always makes sure that I've gotten bread, garlic sauce, napkins, utensils, etc. Everybody else seems very engaged with the business. The schwarma sandwiches are so large, that they themselves are almost a meal in themselves. I usually get the lunch special with a salad. The toubbouli is also an excellent choice.
