She is so detailed and for her clients that do fill face, she treats you to a mini facial at the end. I will definitely be back and refer others. I will NEVER come back here. I've never been charged more than $10 for eyebrow threading IN MY LIFE. I'm used to paying around $7 not including tip. This place charges a whole $22 for just eyebrow threading and they don't even do a good job. ARE YOU KIDDING?! Not to mention the fact that the lady was extremely SLOW and complaining that my eyebrows are too difficult to thread. I'm Pakistani with thick, dark hair so I've been getting my eyebrows threaded since I was 14 years old and NOBODY has ever made that comment to me before. She resorted to tweezing because CLEARLY she doesn't know what she's doing. Either you need more training or you shouldn't be threading people's eyebrows and charging them $22. At one point, another lady walked up and started touching my hair WITHOUT permission, telling me that I need a haircut. If I wanted a haircut, I would have asked for one. What I DON'T want is rude comments or opinions that I didn't ask for. That's NOT how you treat your customers. For a place that charges $22 and is located at the Washington Square Mall, you should at least do a competent job. This is the worst experience I've EVER had getting my eyebrows threaded. The lady (I think it's the owner, maybe??) that did my brows was so thorough and educational, I could tell that she genuinely cared about her work. She explained what she was doing and where she was going to not take hair off so I can grow certain parts out more, and I really appreciated her taking the time to educate me. She even wrote down a nightly routine suggestion that I could do with castor oil so I can grow out my brows more. While I understand and sympathize with many businesses that had to endure many unwanted changes during this global pandemic, the customer service that was given to me was completely unacceptable. This will be a long review but TLDR; I recommend NOT going here if you have an underlying medical condition, are immunocompromised, and/or are in close contact with other individuals who fit these criteria. I decided to go to this location because of previous positive experiences. I arrived at this location a little past 11 am and found the doors were still closed. I noticed there was a book out on a table with someone's name written down for an 11 am appointment and a sign posted on the door that I had to call in to make an appointment. So I called the phone number, but the lady said I didn't need to do that and that'll she'll come out to get me shortly. Then I waited patiently... for about 45 min. At this point, I assumed she was still assisting with the customer before me and wanted to limit the number of people inside the salon, but I called again to get an update. A lady picked up the phone and told me that she just parked and will be in the open the doors shortly. I could NOT believe what I heard. If this presumably was the same lady I talked to the first time, then I don't understand why she couldn't just tell me that she hasn't opened the store yet but provides her ETA. Personally I find that option better than making me believe she'll be out any min only to end up standing by the door entrance for almost an hour. However, I decided to stay and figured I might as well push through after waiting so long. She said she couldn't wear a face mask because she received an exemption from her doctor, which I respected, but what REALLY BOTHERED ME was that she continued to talk as she was threading my eyebrows and upper lip berating the media's coverage and government's response related to COVID-19. While she is entitled to her own beliefs and opinions, not once did she ask about my comfort level with her talking about this sans face mask while she was in close proximity to my face. To me, I considered her behaviors and this entire situation unprofessional and, quite frankly, I doubt I'll be back again if they continue to be inconsiderate to their customers while potentially increasing one's risk for contracting this virus. read more

Overall experience was nice, I went to the Bridgeport location, and it actually felt kind of good during the threading process but after getting home it was obvious that my right eyebrow is shorter than the other (and I didn't want them shortened, the fact that the left brow is fine tells me she messed up). Highly recommend for threading! This will be my permanent salon from now on. I got my eyebrows done here for the first time in 2 years (I had a bad brow job somewhere else and refused to let anyone touch them) and was really happy with the results. She cleaned up some asymmetry, gave them a more natural shape, and didn't go overboard on thinning them - a #1 factor for someone with quite a lot of brow at stake :) You might have to wait a bit for walk-ins but it's worth it. You'll be glad when they're spending as much time on you as they did on the customer before you! Getting my eyebrows done has been an anxiety-inducing process for me for years and probably always will be, but overall I trust these guys! read more

They do a good job but just make sure you say you want your brows "natural" if you don't want them pencil thin. I said I wanted to "keep them thicker" and just "cleaned up" and I now have super thin brows. I look ridiculous. This happened last time and that's why I said "thicker". It took me two months to grow them to look normal. I guess it'll be another two months...She did thread my cheeks correctly. Another gal had threaded them when I first started going here. The employee thinned my eyebrows so much even though I clearly stated that I wanted them to remain thick. I wanted to give no star to them if possible! I like that this is its own store and not a kiosk in the mall for all to see me get eyebrows threaded. The chairs are nice and the threader was efficient. I was in and out in approximately 10 minutes. I noticed that they offer way more than just threading I.e. waxing, microdermabrasion, facials, etc. It's cool and all that they have those services but I'm a little skeptical of the quality. I did not inquire whether or not this was a walk in service like my threading or if it was by appointment. But, I plan on going back for other services if not also for threading. The experience here has made me swear off eyebrow threading. This place is just the straw that broke the camel's back. I am going back to waxing! I have had too much trouble since I started threading and I've been getting my brows threaded for three years now. After my visit at Bollywood, I ended up spending the next several days drawing in parts of my brows that were messed up -- I never have to draw in my brows; only when I have a bad threading or wax job. I am so discouraged about ever finding a reliable threader in the Portland metro area. I will say the lady who threaded me took a lot of time and was very careful, even when there was a person waiting; I didn't feel rushed. I moved here from San Jose and I gave up on the thought that I'd find another threader who knew what to do like my gal back home. Sajel is a god send! My eyebrows always look shaped and prim after I leave. She is gentle without making me feel like tears are going to flood my eyes from my low pain tolerance. I look forward to going now! I went to my eyebrows threaded just last week, I also got my side burns threaded. They lady was very nice, it was busy though. There was about 4 girls ahead of me. The lady was all alone so I'm guessing that's why she was had her hands full. A few people got tired of waiting and left. But other customers came in after the shop was closed (6pm) and the lady didn't say anything. But once 7 came around she started telling customers to come back. I thought that was right. It would be more convenient and respectful of they got a open/closed sign. That would better so the customers know its closed. I even suggested it to her but she was just to busy and wanted to get the job done. So I don't think she paid much attention. That's the one thing that I didn't like but besides that everything was fine. The location is pretty pink, it has plenty of room, it's well decorated, and has a lot of chairs for people that are waiting. And yelp offers a 25% discount which I used. It was 18 for my eyebrows and 15 for my sideburns so the end total was about $28.50. They have packages and they also offer discounts to students. I'll probably go again :) read more
