Walked in to this place and only one other customer was in there so they were able to take me as a walk in. They charged me $50 for a fill and it took way longer than other places and this is far from being as professional as other places... Their prices should be cheaper, not more expensive. I've been a long time customer for 7+ years, mostly for eyelash extensions. Orenco Salon Bar is a no-frills business that focuses on value and quality. With all the new eyelash-only businesses that have popped up, I've stayed with Len because she performs a great balance of quality, speed, and value. I don't have the time or patience to wait over an hour every two weeks for an eyelash refill. Len finishes in 30-40mins and I typically only come in every 4 weeks (or more). I don't mind my eyelashes being less than perfect and prioritize refraining from touching and interfering with my lashes. Nevertheless, that value is a stark contrast to other salons. I've also regularly come in to get my hair cut. Theresa works wonderfully with my wavy long layered hair. She trims it to take advantage of the movement in my hair and keep it low-maintenance. My daughter really wanted a mani/pedi and I booked this place after seeing the reviews. The pedicures were nice but pretty rushed. I decided to get a full set of nails and I take the blame for letting them talk me into the DIP. Not even 24 hours later 3 of the tips on my left hand have broken off, pretty bummed as I can see more will pop off before I can even attempt to make it back in. Not the cleanest nail salon I've been to but I have certainly been to worse. Very spacious, clean, friendly staff. They weren't too busy as they try to make appointments for each timeslot so the entire shop is pretty quiet. I got a fill with gel and it was she was very detail oriented and thorough. Made sure to file down the acrylic so it wasn't too thick, created uniform shaped nails, and all the other things you would expect from a solid nail salon. The entire thing cost $30 (not including tip) which isn't bad. The only thing I didn't like is that they seem to have a smaller selection for beige/nude colors so choosing a color is harder for me. I would not recommend them for nails. While the girl was doing my nails and I tried to engage in conversation, it did not happen. There was another girl and she kept coming over to the woman doing my nails and proceeded to whisper in their language. I find this very rude as she was buffing my skin and not my nails which is not comfortable. No pricing posted and when I asked she had to think about it. Pedicures usually come with a massage of the calf and foot, but not here. She basically trimmed my cuticle, scrubbed my feet for about 5 seconds, rinsed my feet and applied polish. Where does a gal go to get a decent pedicure with a friendly attitude? You would not think it would be THAT difficult! UPDATE: she did massage my legs at the end. I was able to schedule a same day appointment, and able to walk out feeling much prettier after getting my lashes done. Three weeks later, and they still look pretty good honestly. Many have fallen out yes but she gives you a bunch so it's okay, there's still a ton left and it looks fine. It's been three weeks afterall...I haven't had any issues with them pulling out my eyelashes... you just have to be careful not to get them wet for 24 hours after getting them done and make sure to not use mascara or oily makeups around your eyes. And don't be rough drying off your face... the materials she uses are good in my opinion. They look pretty real. Especially for the price- if you want some mink eyelashes that take three hours to put on maybe be prepared to spend the money required for the materials, not to mention time and labor that takes lol. 100 for a full set is super reasonable... be fair. LASH EXTENSIONS | Horrible low quality material and poor quality work. Do NOT go. Pay more for better work. Got Len's name from a mutual friend and heard this place was good so gave it a try asking for a classic refill. I have been getting fills for almost 3 years and experienced 5 different hands so I would say I know what to expect. Here are my notes: 1. She uses cheap lashes and it shows 2. Her glue is like super glue and does NOT come off the lash, you must pull off your real lash to get the extension off (which is NOT the case at better places). When a group of lashes fell out I tried to pull the lashes apart to test the strength of the glue, the lash stretched and ripped and yet did not come apart where glued! 3. Without warning decided to make what I can only describe as "crutches" for my existing lashes by super gluing pieces to the root instead of removing the old and adding a new lash explaining that it was "necessary". 4. She groups 4 and up to 7 extensions on one single lash!!!... 5. ...The groups then get glued together 6. She told me not to brush through my extensions because if I do they will rip my lashes out (yup- because she created a brick wall of glue on my lashes) read more

She was conversational but not obtrusive. And she took her time, gave me an excellent pedicure and even though it was near closing time I didn't see her check her watch once. So sad and disappointed after my last visit. Been coming here on and off for a year. This was definitely my first choice but not anymore. Diana was always good with my nails until last time. It was the most awful experience. She rushed even though there were no clients. Didn't listen to me. Gave me round nails when I asked for squared. Especially in these times nothing should be used on someone else. I was getting a full set and she put tips that were to small on my fingers. Great service with no hassle. I made an appointment to have three pedicures done. We got there 5 min before our scheduled appointment and we didn't have to wait. We were also not bothered with wanting to have Shellac, an upgrade to our pedicure or if we wanted our finger nails done. Our pedicure was done right and we were out of there in 45min. My daughter needed eyelash fills and her regular person was unavailable. We had gotten Len's name from a friend who got it from an acquaintance. I checked reviews and all seemed well, so she went in - showed Len the look she liked (her lashes were still there enough to get an idea of the natural look she was after). Len proceeded to remove what was there, and replaced them using her "secret technique". This involved stacking 2-3 lashes together before attaching them to the real lash. This is less work for Len (attaching to less of your real lashes), but a real no-no because the weight is too much for lash follicles, and when you lose one of your real lashes, your lose 2-3 of the extensions. My daughter flew back to school the next day, and a day later, the extensions started to fall off. You could see glue on the ones that remained. She sent us this picture where her real lashes actually feel out a couple weeks later. I can't speak to any other service there, or any other lash artist, but I would NOT recommend Len's work to anyone. Prices are low, and now we know why. I'm adding a photo of her visit to her usual lash person. Though everyone's taste may differ, this was the look she was going for, and instead, got the "fake eyelash strip look". That wouldn't have been so bad if they had not fallen out quickly and damaged her real lashes. read more

They usually last about 3 weeks until they start to fall out, but when I am careful and take very good care of them, they can last up to 5 weeks.
