One of my favorite (if not #1...) sub spots in Chicago. Good prices & good people every time at this location! I've been going here since I was a kid & I haven't stopped going since. I truly hope they do not lose their quality or try to do something outside of what they are great at, which is making subs and high quality food overall. Their garlic fries are to die for! This is the classic fast food sub shop. They have fresh subs and great pizza puffs. The service here is amazing and they never mess up my orders. Been coming here for about a year now. Just ate at this location for the first time in a couple of months and it used to be my favorite place but the meat on the sandwiches tasted like they left them in the freezer and had freezer burn and they changed the Mac and cheese bites to a lesser quality. Very disappointing. The service was still great but I don't go there primarily for good service. Please get your act together. I will try again in a few weeks. Absolutely Amazing Place!! we go here all the time just because of how amazing the stuff are & their food. The staff really be going out and beyond for you. They're so sweet and really make it such a family atmosphere. Their sides are absolutely the best and have such a wide range. Mac & cheese bites, cheese sticks, jalapeño poppers, etc. their garlic fries are the best out of all the mr.subs i've went to. Their shrimp is my absolute favorite. It's my favorite place in berwyn. Besides the location in Bellwood, this is the nicest looking Mr. Sub I've been to. However unlike the Bellwood, the food here seems much better, and the parking lot is big. Yes, as far as Mr. Sub parking lots go, it almost seems to be their prerequisite to have tiny, chopped up parking lots. Thankfully, this one is an exception to the rule. Not much more to add. Well I got a sub with gross mayo (I hate mayo), no mustard, and no oil and vinegar. I did get some lettuce and a tomato though. As far as the meal part last time I checked a meal came with fries. Everyone had their sub, fries and drink. So I went to the counter asking if I could have my fries. I was extremely disappointed with my order yesterday. For starters I had to place my order with the door dash because this store didn't have their own delivery drivers ok not a problem. However I ordered two subs with the fixings.I made sure to specify in all capital letters no mayo on sandwich or sub sauce but give on the side. I got the complete opposite a super nasty sloppy wet sandwich with stale bread and wilted lettuce this sandwich had no fresh veggies and the bread was like bricks. I called the store manager and was not replaced with A fresh order. This is the first time from this establishment that I've been let down I support them and my job supports this neighborhood staple. I showed my co workers the mess that was delivered they wet the entire sandwich with oil spilled so much inside the bag my sliced pickle was diluted with sub sauce the napkins, the mayo packs were not able to be used and my son didn't look in the bag and he ruined an entire shirt from oil being all over the sandwich and the bag. I will be reaching out to management to get a explanation to why my sandwich was old and not prepared fresh. read more

Two tough guys and a vaguely Eastern European woman making subs that blow others out of the water--that includes Jimmy John's! I'll never forget the time one of the tough guys used his giant bread knife to turn up the volume on the TV. Don't forget to order a few of the dozens of side dishes. I recommend the garlic fries; it'd be easy (and tasty) enough for Mr. Sub to simply sprinkle some garlic powder on the fries and call it a day, but instead, the fries get shaken in a bag with some kind of mystery garlic sauce. As mentioned in a previous review, this location always has fresh ingredients. The Mr.Sub is amazing, and the deals they have are always great! You cannot beat 2 for $5 it 5 for $12. I have been to other locations that use stale bread or other unsatisfactory ingredients. I would also like to add that I have been contacted by this location, and they have offered me compensation. Reaching out to corporate was not helpful at all, but this location specifically did make a wonderful effort to reach out to me. Like was mentioned above (or below?), parking lot is huge but its really pretty little inside. Dates back a million years to when this was a fried chicken place. Woohoo! Best damn sub shop in the area. Great friendly service. These guys are pros. The cheese fries are the best. Crinkle cut fries are the way to go and they are always crisp, fresh and hot. The sub bread is always fresh, unlike the other 'place' where they say 'go fresh' but you never can because their bread is stale and stiff. Love it here, just love it. The place is clean, the people are friendly, the food tastes great, the place is well lit, and it's open late. They also make hotdogs, french fries, and onion rings too. Day or night you can get an affordable, tasty, healthy meal there. A nice offering is the wheat bread. For the same price, you can get a better quality bread that is probably a little more healthy to eat. The white bread they serve is soft and fresh too however. Been here a few times and it's always consistent. Not a huge fan but based on the reviews I see, people really love it. The place is clean and there is plenty of in house seating. Subs are good, garlic fries are really tasty and heavy on the garlic. +1 for that. My biggest peeve is that when you ask for your sub hot they throw the thing in the microwave...Yikes! Nuked bread is not appealing at all. So I have learned not to have my sub heated. Decent sub, fresh bread, made to order, give them a try and see what you think. read more
