We are long time customers of Mr Tequila and usually only have good experiences. Today we ordered take out of their new pork belly taco platter. It was missing the rice and beans as advertised on their menu. Oops they must of over looked it, but no they said it does not come with rice and beans even though their website says it does. What??? Didn't even give us the option to add them to our order. Very disappointed

Awesome Mexican food. Steak was cooked perfectly. Food came very fast. Wasn't to busy because we were in between lunch and dinner time. The decor on the chairs and around the restaurant is nice. Would recommend a try.

Shrimp cocktail .

This is my second time here.... I tried to like it so bad but I can't. The shrimp cocktail taste like COCK. Horrible. Straight pure tomatoe juice . Food looks like they put it in the microwave foreal . Food comes out quick less than 10 min. I'm from miami where the food is suppose to come out fresh And smoking from the plate , I will never come BACK HERE !!! EVER shut this shit down

Terrible. Ordered in advance, attached pic of order. Order was not ready. They looked surprised. Asked when no one came back to me if everything was ok, told " its a big order" Again, this was ordered in advance. This was for a birthday lunch. The top order was totally missing which happen to be the person's birthday we were celebrating. Taco missing from combo. Vegetarian quesadilla loaded with mushrooms and guac - specifically asked not to have those items. There was one container if beans and rice together for all sides. I took care to show the list(attached) and asked twice are you sure all items are in the bag and was told yes. Called and told the first item was not on the online order. I said I showed the server my list to make sure all items were received and included. She could of stated there was an issue. Instead said everything was there. Manager totally unhelpful.

A super delicious shredded beef nachos and chicken quesadilla.

Maximum deliciousness. All departments. Chicken Fajitas Warm Chips. And beef nachos. Shredded beef nachos get the shredded beef nachos.

We've eaten here since they opened many years ago and the food is consistently amazing. I usually order the Camarones Mr. Tequila or the Quesadilla Camaron. Both dishes are always full of perfectly cooked big shrimp and vegetables. My husband and kids love the enchiladas, tacos, burritos and so much more. The service is always quick and friendly. They happily bring more chips and salsa (salsa is also great) usually without us even having to ask. We are always amazing at how quickly all the food comes out. Last night we were there for Cinco de Mayo and we were blown away with how they managed the extremely packed restaurant. There were many people waiting but we didn't have to wait long at all. Once we were sat our waitress came right away to introduce herself and take our drink order. The food came out quickly as well. They had a live band and some people were dancing. Everyone was having a good time. We were impressed with the high level of service with the restaurant being so packed inside and out. At the end of our meal they gave each of us a free t-shirt!!! I highly recommend this wonderful Mexican restaurant.

So pretty!

I've been in here 6-7 times since moving to South Florida last fall. My family lives nearby and they are HUGE fans of Mr. Tequila. My parents are in here at least once a week while they are wintering in FL! The wait staff know them well and are so pleasant! My husband and I love good Mexican food, it can be difficult to find in the Sunshine State. Mr. Tequila has become my favorite Mexican place on the Gulf Coast side of FL. If you happen to be on the other side of FL in Fort Lauderdale/Coral Springs, I recommend El Mariachi. The happy hour here is a pretty good deal, it's buy one small house margarita, get one free. I enjoyed the drinks here, I recommend the frozen margarita. You do receive chips and salsa, but it's totally worth splurging on the queso dip! I'm not usually a chip fan, but the cheesy goodness made me want to indulge. The menu is large and has many good choices. I'm vegetarian, but my husband points out how this place has a lot of seafood choices for a Mexican restaurant. He liked his Pina Cancun, which is seafood in a pineapple. Hubby and I split an order of churros on our last trip, we had come to love eating those when we lived in Southern California. The churros were absolutely delicious. Ambiance of the restaurant is fun and I love the bright colors!

What A Great Place! As were driving down the street towards…read morethe Naples Botanical Garden, we passed a brewery and next to it was this small Mexican restaurant. How perfect. After our nature visit, we could stop for a beverage, then get a late lunch next door. Well let me tell you, this is legit authentic Mexican. We walked over from the brewery next door. There's a patio out front with tables and umbrellas, but it was scorchingly hot and we wanted to sit inside. Not too many tables as it's small, but one opened up for the three of us. A very polite server provided menus and took our drink orders. My daughter and I both had Micheladas. You can select what beer you want in the mix. I had Modelo Negro, my daughter selected Modelo Especial. My wife had a bottle of water. No tap water here, you need to buy the bottle. We studied the menu trying to decide what to get. Everything we could see others eating looked great and tacos seemed to be the popular meal. Our Micheladas came out and these were festive. Large mugs, rimmed with a pretty zippy tahin and pepper blend, filled with the beer and a slightly spicy tomato juice mix. Very flavorful. A something new for us was the addition of a tamarind straw. It's a plastic straw, covered with a sweet spicy tamarind blend. They actually call it candy. You use it to stir your drink and then nibble on the candy. What a great fun thing to add to a drink. By the way, the Michelada was excellent. I enjoyed licking the tajin seasoned rim with each sip, just like a salted rim on a margarita. Still studying the menu, we ordered the Choriqueso appetizer. The basket came out with fresh fried corn tortilla chips and a bowl of queso cheese with chorizo sausage crumbled into it. Runnier than most cheese dips we're used to, but enjoyable nonetheless. Finally we ordered our meals. Al Pastor Tacos for my wife, Chorizo and Steak Tacos and Quesabirria Quesadilla for my daughter and Caldo de Camaron for myself. In just a few minutes, our delights were delivered and the feast began. All of the meats in the tacos and quesadilla were excellent. Great flavors and no skimping on the meats. Onions, cilantro and self squeezed lime punched up the flavors. The quesabirria come with an au jus style dipping sauce that was perfect. My shrimp soup was spectacular. Easily shareable, but I accepted the challenge to eat this myself. Served with numerous warm tortillas, chopped onions, cilantro and lime, I put it all in. A very light yet flavorful broth and as the pic shows, loaded with flavorful shrimp. I enjoyed every spoonful. A wonderful soup. As with most authentic Mexican restaurants, you are made to feel that \you are their guest. They will never make you feel that you've overstayed and if you want your check, you just go to the register at the counter. Looking forward to our next trip there.

It was nice to sit outside but I think our server forgot about us for a while... The quesabirria and fajitas were very good, but everything else was lowkey a skip. Skip the queso dip, there's not enough chips, skip the à la carte tacos, overpriced for how small they were. Just kind of a bust with a good view.

Let's start with the good. Karen, our server, was great at suggesting some items to us and…read moreexplaining why they were good. We only wanted a variety of apps so she gave some good suggestions. She was attentive and efficient. The food she suggested: elote, very good! We did get the guac and chips too to use the chips with the elote. That was the problem. The guac was somewhat tasteless, but the chips were very bad. They tasted like they were made in old rancid oil and they make them onsite. They even smelled like old oil. We let her know and she brought a new batch. Still tasted bad. We suggested her to try them and she did and agreed they were not up to par. I felt the grease even coated my tongue. The cornbread was excellent. Because the chips were so bad we got the guac and rest of the elote to go so we can eat at home with some good chips. We got the bill and even though they agreed they weren't as good as normal they still charged us for everything. That is a problem. She should have had them take them off the bill. We still tipped 18% but that isn't good when they don't make it right. We may give them another chance but still charging males that less likely for sure.
