Had a oil change a very bad one that leaked. I went back several times and was ignored. I have been getting oil changes all my life and never one that leaked like a all over the driveway. How dangerous? They had me pay for a new plug. I think it is the wrong size (the plug) oil is fast leaking from the horrific job they did on my Volvo S60. I am calling corporate today. read more

I needed a Pennsylvania emissions and safety inspection for my new car. I bought the car in NJ and just received my PA registration. The Mavis crew could perform the inspections even though it was about 4:15 PM (almost closing time.) The car had 6K miles, so it is still quite new making inspection easy to perform. Mavis at Franklin mills in Philadelphia sold me bad tires. They were supposed to be new tires and warrantied for six years tread wear. After two months, my Mercedes dealership said that the tread on the new tires were all worn down and needed replacement. I told him that is not possible because I just purchased them new just two months before from Mavis . After bringing it to the attention of the Mavis store manager, Kevin and the regional manager Stacy, they both refused to take accountability for their actions. They were belligerent and indifferent and as a regular patron, I told him I will seek legal actions for them selling me bad tires and not doing their due diligence for not aligning the tires when it was placed onto the car which is standard protocol for all new tires. They refused to make right for their wrongs and were very nasty to me. read more

Last week I tore this place apart with a negative review after being "ripped off and lied to" I was pissed off & I never actually looked over my bill. Actually, I looked over the bill but it made zero sense... it was greek to me. A $50 charge was actually a $10 charge. Again, the way it's written out it's hard to tell. Simple math would've solved the issue. I got a phone call from the regional manager literally minutes after my review, since I basically trashed 'em with an unfair review. After going over the paper work ... Man, I felt like an complete Ass. Every charge was legit. In my defense, I got burned by 3 mechanic shops over the last 5 years. It has me a bit paranoid to any mechanic shop these days. I just don't trust 'em. Upstate: October 9th I had came here about two months ago when I got a nail in my tire on a Sunday. They picked up and told me to come here and I did right away. They fixed it and now on a Sunday again I had The same tire leaking air and I came back to the only place I trust which is Here! I had David check out my tire and he quickly found that there was a nail again as shown in the image (the skinny one). He was so fast in getting it taken care of and put air back into that tire. The whole thing was fast and he even did it complimentary. If I were to suggest anyone to go to a tire shop it would be this place! They did my service so fast and when I called ON A SUNDAY when most places aren't open, they told me to come right in. Thank you David! Forever will tell my friends and family to come here to the woodhaven location. My first time here was super fast and they did it at such an affordable price. last year went in for inspection they said i need 4 new tires i work form home so i dont see how so i get the tires i say to them what are you going to get me for brakes next year they say no you are only at 10% useage on them - take it back this year for inspection and now i need 2 new tire in the rear tell them i just got 4 new tires here last year are you kidding me then they say i need wippers no i dont the wippers were just put on. then they say i need breaks all the way around well that funny i used 90% off my breaks and i work from home car only has 38500 milage and its a 2019 , how much will it all cost 1095.00 for brakes all the way around i give you 200.00 off she say i will tell inspector to 4get about the tires, i tell her to fail car and she says well now you need 2 back tires me and my husband go over there and he said whats wrong with tires she said it the shocks husband say well car does not need new shocks no just 2 tires he say why so when we come back next year we will have to replace 2 back tires again, then they charge me for tire rotations which she did not do VERY DISSAPPOINTED NEVER GOING BACK THERE ITS A SAME THEY USED TO BE GOOD i was over there 12/11/2025 read more

I came to Mavis in a panic, after finding 5 nails in 3 of my fairly new tires. Needless to say, I initially wanted to cry. I called Mavis at Woodhaven & they told me to come on in. An hour later, me and my two flats arrived & I encountered Sheryl, who assured me they'd take care of me. Their technicians were able to patch my tires and I'm back in business!! The customer service and the speed of the service was great! Sheryl quickly turned my frown upside down! $55 and I'm on the road again! Honestly was a joke, never will I ever take my car here again. Dropped my car off at 12 got it back at closing time (8:30pm). Just asked for an inspection and two new back tires. Get my car back and notice every time I turned and pressed my brakes my front left tire would make this loud obnoxious clunking and screeching noise , to come to find out my dust shield is broken. Just to add on they broke 6 of my lug nuts. Only thing good out of it was new tires. Took it back to them to take a look at the noise to get a call that nothing was wrong and there was no dust shield. Didn't offer to fix or it replace it. But instead told me my car was falling apart. I've worked on my car plenty of times but when it's in someone else's hands they mess with it. Drove it home and the noise magically disappeared. Don't trust anything they say. read more

I had a flat tire ( just filled it up to make it there ) .Arrived @5:57 pm . Don't know they closed at 6. The gentleman/ mechanic said he would take care of it. Pulled the car in , and repaired the tire. Then he hands me the keys back and says all done. I start pulling out my wallet, and he says no charge. I won't be going back to this establishment. I made an appointment online to get 4 new tires. I drop my car off and it took 4 hours to install 4 new tires. When I was driving my car home the tire pressure sensor tripped. When I checked the pressure there was over 42 lbs of air in each tire. Well over thr max limit. Very dangerous. Also, I brought my care in for an alignment. Also took way too long and they didn't even do it. They said they can't because the bushings in the control arms were deteriorating. Upon my own investigation the notches in the bushings are designed that intentionally. The technicians there need better training. read more

First they would not honor the quote given over the phone "not my problem that he did not put it in the system" then had a 8am appointment, the manager knew we were waiting and did not communicate that the technician was late to work. Would never recommend this place. I took my 2018 car to the Woodhaven Road location to save money because the dealer was charging me a lot. This ended up costing me $700 more. As soon as I drove off after getting breaks and rooters I heard a noise. I went back to this location three different times about the noise and gave them the opportunity to correct this. I was brushed off and told rocks were stuck under my car. After 2 months with the noise I took it somewhere else and found out there was a piece missing from the break kit that was not installed on my back tire and to top it off they stripped the wheel studs and my wheel lugs were not screwed properly. They were completely stripped. I was driving for 2 months like this. Mavis brushed me off 3 times while I was driving with my kids unsafe on the roads. I called the Regional Manager who suggested I allow them to fix the mistake. Now why would I go a fourth time and allow them to touch my car? Do yourself and favor and DO NOT go to Mavis Tires. read more
