I took my car to this location to purchase 2 new tires for my car. I was assured my care was good to go, paid, was told they were driving my car to make sure the TPMS sensor was functioning properly. Fine, no problems until I'm almost home and one of the tires on my car starts making this thumping noise. Well, upon further inspection when I get home, I find that my tire was not properly secured and all five lug nuts were completely loose. This is pure negligence on the technician's part. They should have someone cross check their work to make sure they've completed the most basic of tasks. Never take your vehicle to Mr Tire in Delmar. Their work is slip shod at best. read more

Needed tires Lisa located them and arranged appointment to install. They did not arrive on schedule but was notified and instructed that I would notified when they arrived. Which they did. Upon arrival I was greeted by Candace who was very busy and by herself at the desk. She was helpful and most of all she kept all customers informed often of the progress on their repairs. Major Scammers. Went in for an oil change, first time at that location, mechanic calls me out and shows me shredded rear brake pads and tells me I need new ones, then the females at front desk chime in and tell me their stories, blah blah, of when their rear brakes gave out, danger etc..... So I spend 700.00 for new ones. Meantime, couple cars ago, I needed rear brakes, and u could for sure hear it when I was in reverse. Never noticed anything on this car, but I got them. Get home, check my last Mr Tire receipt from 3 mos. prior when they measure, and rear were at 3. Call corporate, they send me a 75.00 g.c. Go 3 mos later to Lewes Mr Tire, first time.....very nice. Look at my receipt, rear brakes are now at 3 too. Their 3 mos old. Called corporate again, asked for regional supervisor etc..nothing. Women told me they replace them within a year, under warranty. Still anything to get u to return to them. 700.00 later. Lewes again, were great. Delmar dispicable. You could have picked up anything in the garage and told me they were my shredded rear brakes. Left me no choice. And to boot I'm practically never in stop and go traffic. Awful Awful experience. Terrible. read more

Absolutely HORRIBLE service this afternoon, came in for 2 loose tires and was quoted a price that I was happy with so I had them do the work. I was quoted for the work to be done in 30 minutes, which was odd to me because I didn't see any techs in the shop. I went to Wawa and the Dollar Tree to kill time, and came back 35 minutes later. When I came back the tires were in the same place I left them, which to me is CRAZY! I use to work at a tire store as a manager and if I didn't have any techs I'd knock the tires out and get the customer on their way. I'm so glad I decided to bring the loose wheels myself because who knows how long I would of been here for... Steer clear of this store! Edit: Got the tires on the car. One thing I wish I noticed before getting them back home was that one of the tires was counter balanced (annoyed with the service and forgot to look, but probably would of been there another hour to correct it)... How do you work at a place specializing in tires and you don't even know how to balance them correctly. The other thing was there was less than 20psi in both tires. No one asked for what we wanted them set, but common sense would be to at least have 30-32psi in the tires... Once again HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, find somewhere else to go! read more

Went today to only get a tire replaced. Overall customer service was fine however, they performed an alignment without telling me prior that it needed to be done, just did it and put it on the bill. I was also charged for the premium installation without asking for it or if I wanted it. I worked in the auto field in an office for nearly 9 years and it's never good practice to charge a customer for work without them first approving it. I've gone to this Mr.Tire multiple times in the past but prior to this visit, was told that it was going under new ownership/management. Maybe that's the reason for this but still not a good look to charge customers for work and premium services without their consent first. read more

First, to schedule an appointment on their website is a joke. Second, they are severely lacking in even adequate customer service. The guy at check-in really seemed like he could care less if I was there for car repairs or not. Not helpful at all. Do yourself a favor and keep looking for a better auto repair shop. read more

Been waiting for 3 hours for 2 tires to be changed would not recommend this place also in the time I was waiting I seen more people worrying about a car being washed in the parking lot then the cars they were supposed to be working on and 2 workers were sitting around not doing their jobs read more

Poor service, store is run by liars, incompetent staff. 1) My wife had a flat tire and took it there since that is where we purchased the tires. When my wife asked if they would rotate the tires since tire rotations are free as long as you own a set purchased there and the customer service person (Heather) tried to charge her saying that the tires looked good for the age. They are 80,000 mile tread and have 40,000 miles on them. They have been rotated every 5,000 miles. We were spending $250 on a tire and she wanted to give a hard time over a tire rotation. The ended up doing the rotation for free as they should have without argument. 2) Same week. My daughter needed new set of tires and we decided to try them one more time since they have convenient hours. We dropped the car off and they called to tell us that it was finished and that it needed new brakes and rotors at a cost of $750. We said we would wait since I can do that my self. When I got home I pulled one front wheel and one rear wheel. The rear rotors had nearly no wear and the front were less than half worn. The brake pads had a less than 50% wear all the way around. Not sure why they lie about these things but don't fall for their tricks. I checked the price for all parts and I could get them for $250 3) Same week. My Dad decided to get a new set of tires for his classic car with spoke wheels which requires tubes to be installed. I think this must have been a first for them. They put tubes in that must have been too small since the valves were pinched against the rim and you couldn't take the caps off, much less put air in and when we tried to deflate one tire to pull it through further it pulled the valve back inside and we couldn't get it back out. When we returned to the shop Heather told us that it was because there were tubes in the tires and that's the way it would be. I told her she needed to look before making excuses. We left the wheels and they repaired the issue. It is not right for customer service or shops to try to take advantage of customers. Hopefully this will make other customers realize that you should shop for tires and service elsewhere. read more
