Bought new tires and was told by manger there was a rebate and also paid for alignment.Filled out form online for rebate and the mfg said that Mr tire was not a participating retailer so my loss after being told a lie by the manage.After driving something seemed off so I took my vehicle to my normal garage and they said it was out of alignment so I had to pay them to fix what Mr tire didn't do correctly and I would've worn the new tires down pretty fast.I called Mr tire and told the manager and he said I should've brought it back.Why would I do that?If your machine is out of calibration what good would it do to bring it back.The manager said he'll make it up to me with an oil change next time I come it.New tires came with free rotation and balancing.Months later,Scheduled the day before to have that completed.Showed up at the shop in the morning and the place was empty and the girl behind the counter said the server is down and they can't do anything until it's back up and that oil change I was promised by the manager he no longer works at the location so they will not honor word of mouth.Steer clear of this place.I asked the girl "where are all the techs at?"she seemed that she didn't want to answer and kept feeding me bull about what was going on.I left after waiting for about 45 min and(supposedly)the server wasn't back up yet.I left and told her I'll call in to reschedule if I want which I'm not ever going back there again.She was kind of rude.Id rather pay my garage to do the job correctly than to deal with all of their crooked lies.If you're thinking about going there...just don't do it.There's plenty of other reputable places around read more

Got new tires here. Within a year they were almost totally shot. Not worth giving this place your money at all.

I had an oil light come on in my car yesterday, and that didn't seem right because I shouldn't have been low on oil. I called Mr. Tire around 9:00 and told George my concern, and he said to bring the car over when l could.I got there around 9:30, and George immediately took a look under the hood. After checking the oil level, he said it was fine, and either the reset button in my car had gotten loose or they'd forgot to reset it when the oil was changed. he added some oil and reset everything and said l was good to go. There was no charge, and he said they'd see me when l came in next time. I've always been dealt with quickly and efficiently when I've come in, no matter what needed to be done. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!! My experience was absolutely horrible here, I had gotten a flat tire and needed a new tire I was low on money so I google cheaper places that had tires and this place came up. I took my car in for a new tire the man comes back out and tells me all of my tires need replaced because they are all dry rotted, I was shocked because I had just bought this car (used from a credible dealership) only a year and a half ago. Me being super young at the time agreed to get all 4 replaced in fear another tire would blow and I would get stranded somewhere. I picked up my car the next day and as I'm driving home I realize my car is wobbly and pulling to the right really bad. I get home and call right away explaining what was going on, the man that worked the front counter explained to me it was normal and the more I drove it that it would fix itself. I'm not dumb and knew it had to be something with the alignment so I asked for them to realign my car, he agreed and I took it back in the next day and they said they "fixed" the problem. The next day I'm driving to work and it begins pulling again and a bunch of lights come up on my dash I call again and they ask for me to bring it back in which I did and they again said that they fixed the problem. Long story short I did this 2 more times before my car was back to normal. I feel like I was taken advantage of because I was young at the time. I wasted so much time and gas going back and forth to this garage. I feel like they do not know what they are doing or if they do they are just too lazy to do it right. Good guys! Spent 2.5 hours looking for an issue on my 2013 Nissan Juke and because they could not Immediately diagnose the issue they did not charge me. Had recently had them install new tires and new brakes and very satisfied with overall value and service. read more

My husband and I both had our vehicles there for the first time yesterday purely out of convenience. Everyone at the shop was very nice however I will not be back there. I was stunned at how high their prices were and all the add on costs. It cost me $150 for an inspection and oil change (they also added in a charge of $34! to have 4 lugnuts removed that I didn't know I would be charged for). I asked them to check my battery and was told they would. When I checked out I was told it was fine but went to leave and my car wouldn't start. Then they actually checked it and it was bad, as expected. $160 for a battery! $110 for the battery and $34 for the 3 minute installation and another $15 "shop fee". My husband stopped in later for a leaking tire and walked out with a $670 bill for new tires for his Ford Focus. He walked away feeling violated and when he got home looked over the itemized receipt at all the charges they tack on there. We will definitely go to Raber for all our tire needs from here on out and I'll plan ahead and see a different shop for my mechanical needs. Overall, friendly service, bad prices. read more

Don't do it! Bought tires here and immediately noticed shaking when I got on 222. Went back and noticed there were about 10 weights stuck using double sided tape to the inside of my tires. The old weights were also still there. Manager insisted they were computer spin balanced and couldn't be off balance. Asked him to remove weights and do it again. While my car was being fixed again I overheard the managers conversations on the phone about working with limited staff because he can't keep anyone. Second time around - and after a fight to get it fixed - my tires were correctly balanced. Go somewhere else who can afford to keep a full staff of employees. read more

Beware. Very uncommunicative. There's no way to leave messages except email, which they don't respond to. I went to pick up my car and the store was closed, despite the door sign and website both saying they are open Sundays. No way to get ahold of anyone to get my car back. I need my car for work Monday and I'm stranded. Other Mr Tire shops won't help. Apparently the district manager is on vacation. Very terrible customer service. Stay far away from this sham of a business. read more

I also should have known better than to go to a place like this. I just had a turn signal bulb out but of course, with them, it turned out to be something more. I ONLY went to them because I thought it would be quick, in and out but more than a half hour later, I FINALLY got my car back. The guy at the desk said, "If I had known you only had 4 minutes...." My usual garage is Valley View Auto in Ephrata and THEY ARE THE BEST. Should never have strayed from my normal guy...not even for a turn signal. read more

Went for routine yearly inspection. Complete scam. Charged me just shy of $500 when one headlight was out and said the whole lighting package needed changed or it couldn't pass inspection. The light that was out before worked for two days and went back out. Took it back for replacement guy told me just to wiggle it and it was fine. Which means I could have wiggled the old one and "it would be fine". Nice people, but scam artists. Will never go back. Just bought brand new tires across the street at Rabers and got impeccable service. read more

These guys are great! They are really flexible with getting you in for an Oil Change, Tires or that Last Minute inspection. They run a lot specials and have good pricing. Took my daughters car there for a broken lug nut on a Saturday. They knew I was desperate to get it fixed and of course no one else in town was open. Three hours later and the bill was $400. Certainly will never go there again. Only gave them one star because zero was not an option. read more

Reviewing a tire center is something I'd never thought I'd be motivated to do.... ...but here we are.._ Found them online a year ago a took notice they'll beat any quote by 10%. I took a quote I already thought was great to them and they did beat it without any hassle. Awesome. Today went in for a slow leak tire repair and tire rotation. Had an always available online'fix a flat for free' coupon. They did both in a timely manner and I was out the door for $0. Short of paying me how can that be beat? read more

Pure crooks! Went in to have my car inspected, figured this place is close to home and my regular person was away, crook manager took me to the back while my car was lifted and showed me all the things wrong, (They were saying I needed new tie rods) and some other bs, so I'm like ok, the manager begins to tally the cost of replacing tie rods and a bunch of other mumbo jumbo, and the total cost in the end was almost 2k....I give him an A+ for acting as if he was really concerned about my vehicle, I'm going along with it letting him know that I wasn't interested, he was trying to charge 109.00 for one tie rod! You can get those for 23.00 on autozone...according to him I needed two.. fast forward, I took my car to my regular person and passed inspection needing only 2 new tires.... never again, Save your money and go elsewhere... do not recommend... read more

I called to make an appointment to have my car inspected. Perhaps they were really busy, but the customer service was very poor. They seemed upset that I was bothering them with a call. I purchased 3 sets of Michelin tires from them over the past 2 years, plus had many oil changes and other miscellaneous repairs done by the mechanics at this specific MR Tire. I've always been treated well, and with courtesy. Probably the one thing that surprised me several times was that the manager automatically took off discounts that were posted on the web site. I was impressed with that sort of customer service. Many businesses don't know how much add-on business and loyalty that sort of selfless act can bring in. The business world calls that a Win-Win! My wife had her car in for tires and an alignment they called and told her ,her car needed brakes and rotors. They wanted to charge her 400 dollars to do this. Just two days before we dropped the car off I looked the car over and the brakes were fine. When I called them to not authorize the work they were very rude and told me her car was in the shop and we were not getting the keys back until the repairs were made. I had to threaten to call the franchise owner. When we finally got the car back we looked at the brakes and there is more then 6 months of pad left and the rotors are perfect. I was a diesel mechanic for years so I'm pretty sure I know bad brakes when I see them. Please be careful when dealing with Mr Tire. I will provide my phone number if needed. I have been to this Mr. Tire a few times for oil changes and inspections and was pleased. My most recent visit has changed my mind and I will never return. I went in for a problem and they quoted me over $900 to fix it. I took my vehicle to another mechanic in town the next day and he said that none of the issues they had given me needed repaired and saved me over $800 to fix the problem. DO NOT go to mr. Tire more like me. Rip off, I had my car recently brought there and and had $2300 worth of repairs to get it back and there was a problem with my rpm, so I called and they said they will take another look at it. So I brought my car in and it must have been a slow day because there were mechanics riding on bicycles through the garage and parking lot, which is fine, whatever, but when I proceeded to be in Walmart for an hour I received no call about what might be wrong with my car. After waking back down to the garage, I was waiting inside unattended while mechanics and the front desk man were talking in then garage. Then once they noticed that I was waiting they came back in and told me that they didn't feel it was a big issue and that they would have had nothing to do with my transmission acting like that. I said fine if it's not a big deal, I guess I can drive it. After about a week my car didn't start again, and the fuel pump which I got replaced a week before was not working. Long story short, there unprofessional and don't seem to want to take responsibility for their mistakes. Do not go here! Unless I guess u want tires. read more

took car there because of starting problems with it shorting out key getting locked in ignition till I would jiggle battery wire the everything would came back on key would come out of ignition and would start up.all they apparently heard was key getting stuck in ignition told me need new ignition switch.the night I go to drop it off Thursday night wouldn't start nothing pop the hood and all of a sudden I have power and starts up now am I no mechanic but when I popped that hood and my lights come back on and starts up that there is a short there somewhere .told the kid that was there about it and he told me would put new terminal never did.so the bottom line is new ignition switch system 400 dollars but I still got the original problem of what I took it there for in the first place. read more

I scheduled an appointment for a tire rotation plus mount and balance one new tire. I showed up 5 min before the appointment. When I got there they said that I would have to wait about 45 min before they could get me in and then it would be another hour to do the rotation. First of all a tire rotation plus a single mount and balance should not take an hour...maybe 30 min but even that is really slow. Secondly, if I make an appointment, I expect to get in within 10-15 min. I asked if I came back in 45 min would they be ready for me then? The guy at the service desk said they would take someone else if they got there first! I was appalled, and told them I would not be returning. Save yourself some time and take your business elsewhere, this place is not worth your time. Totally unprofessional. read more

DON'T be fooled. They advertise all these great deals. I fell for it since I am retired on limited income. Bought 4 tires 3 years ago, and free tire rotation went along with this. WRONG. Went in 3 different occasions and they refused to rotate tires. Should have been a red flag for me. But, with that said, went in 2015 for inspection. Easy in, easy out, right? there were no issues with my car. Should have passed with flying colors. WRONG again. After sitting there for hours( did have an appointment) was told I needed something done to the front wheel. So now, saving money has now turned into a $500. bill. I was told the brakes barely passed and would not pass for 2016 inspection. Also told the struts would have to be replaced before 2016 inspection. Now I am getting upset, cause after the fact, I checked reviews and saw they have a reputation of scamming... replacing things that don't need replaced. This year, 2016 I went to Al's, Denver. It passed, did not need brakes, did not need struts. If you take a chance to get work done at Mr. Tire , BEWARE. Nothing is as it seems here. They should close this place. I took my car 1/22/2014 for an oil change, tire rotation, new windshield wipers and decided to have them do the inspection also. 15mins later Daniel D a manager tells me the car passes emissions but, not state. He tells me to pass inspection there are things that need fixed totaling $442.91. I told him i will take it to another mechanic and have them look at it or see if someone has better prices. Today, i took it to another mechanic and told them what happened and showed him the printout from Mr. tire so they could check the things they said needed repairs and call me with prices so i can make a decision on fixing them. They called me back and none of the things needed fixed that was on the list, the only thing i needed fixed was the battery wasn't clamped down it was the wrong size battery. So they replaced that and did inspection and it passed. I was curious if Mr. Tire even did the oil change and they actually over filled my oil and didn't fill the other fluids like i asked. So now i have to pay to get some oil drained. I saved a little over $200 and Mr. Tire will loose my business and i would hope people use their heads and not let Mr. Tire try and scam more money out of them for things that don't need repaired. read more
