Tried to scam me. Follow along: I took my truck in to get a price to have a valve stem replaced. He said he couldn't give me a price until after he looked at the tire to make sure there wasn't a leak from a puncture. Truck goes up on the rack and the tire comes off. Comes back and said it will be $80 to replace the valve stem. I said I think that's a little high I'll go somewhere else. Comes back 5 minutes later and says his employee already started replacing The valve stem so there would be no charge. Oops on his part. Woke up this morning and my tire was flat. Took it to a different shop who found a puncture and leak. Mr Tire never checked for a leak. Just wanted to charge me $80 for the valve stem. Beware of Mr tire. read more

Wow! Called to get an appointment after discovering my flat tire on Thursday evening when leaving work. The lady on the phone was efficient and polite making sure I had an appointment within the hour. When I arrived just one young man was there but he promptly took my car into the garage, plugged my tire and had me back on the road in literally 15 minutes without any charge to me. We had to rush to a tire repair/replacement center on a Sunday, knowing tire service centers are closed on that day. We were very pleased to know that this location is open from 9-5 on that day. The wrecker towed our vehicle there (we hadn't replaced the spare - shame on us) and my wife went down to purchase a new tire as I took care of other business. Although I didn't go in, I was surprised to know that there were finished much sooner than we'd anticipated and had her back on the road in no time. Tire Choice which I had an appointment 9:30 with called me and said we don't do alignments. They then told me to go to there other shop Mr.Tire. Schedule an alignment with them at 1pm. Then they proceed to tell me there alignment machine won't work on my vehicle. It's factory wheels , not aftermarket. Wasted part of my day. I don't recommend this shop. I took my vehicle to the refugee Road location in Pickerington to have a screw taken out of my tire. The manager told me that I had 2 cross threaded lug nuts. I know for a fact that they were fine before I took my car in. I called my husband, and he decided to come in and take a look at it, but before he could get there, they put the car back together and quickly put it into the parking lot. When he arrived, they refused to show my husband any of the damage. They refused to answer any questions and proceeded to blame my husband for the damages. They rudely told us to take my car and leave their property with a damaged and unsafe vehicle. To: Mr. Tire Auto Centers#877 899 Refugee Rd. Shop 0877, Pickerington, OH, 43147 I would like to bring your attention to an unsatisfactory experience I had at your auto repair shop. I have been a loyal customer for many years and feel that I receive an unsatisfactory repair job which cause my car brakes to sputter and shake. I feel that I receive an incomplete service repair to my 2014 Toyota Tacoma. On 11/02/2020, I had my vehicle services at Mr. Tire Auto Centers for repair because my vehicle brakes feel like there grinding in the Front. The tech did a courtesy inspection and diagnosed that I needed disc pads replace and new brake rotor. Also, I had a new battery replace and belts as well. After about 3 days driving to work from home, I notice every time I accelerate at the speed above 40 miles per hour, I felt my vehicle sputter and shake. I felt that it was not normal and needed more attention. About a day later, I could smell and see the disc rotor creating smoke and bad odor coming from the front two tires area. I felt disappointment and unsatisfied with the service I receive. But I was still under the lifetime warranty on the disc pads and rotor. So, I made a second services appointment for the repair shop to look at the problem that I had with the disc rotor creating smoke, bad odor, and now sputter and shake to my truck. The total cost of the first repair is $733.15 On 12/11/2020, I had my second appointment schedule for the issue above. I spoke with the Manger and told him about the issue I had with front disc rotor having a bad smoke odor, sputter and shake. So, I drop my vehicle off and waiting for the brakes inspection to be done. About 2 hours later, He called and explain that the front brakes rotors overheats because the rear drums need replace causing the front rotor to go bad which causes burnt odor and smoke discoloration on the rotor. They did replace the front rotors because of the warranty I had. But, in order to repair my vehicle, I still had to purchase new rear drums which cost with labor additional $457.90. The truck was working fine coming out of Mr. Tire Auto Centers for couple weeks. Unfortunately, it did not last long until I started having the same problem. My vehicle starting to have brake issue that causes some sputter when braking. It is now 01/15/2021 and both my rear rotor has burnt discoloration and smoke odor and sputter as well. I am very frustrated and disappointment with the service I receive from Mr. Tire Auto Center. Additional to that I made a phone call to speak with the manager about the issue and I receive unsatisfactory customer service and repairs. It is very great feeling to get HANG UP on when you are speaking with the manager about your issue you have. I just hope anyone who read this, please be aware that you might or might NOT get the service you ask for. My only opinion is to find and research the best place to get your car repair with knowledge certified technician that can do a good quality job on your vehicle repair. Because I had spent over $1,190 and still my vehicle is NOT in safe and working order. I am going to file a complaint about this matter. read more

So incredibly unhelpful and rude. Do not use this Mr Tire!! They kept the car for over 24 hours and literally did not fix a thing. Nor could they give us an estimate on how much to fix. Mr. Tire in Pickerington has always taken excellent care of my vehicles from the time I was newly divorced and had to find someone to work on my car or to buy tires from until now when I'm married and have any place to pick from to work on my vehicles. Normally in my past experiences with this shop they were dependable. I scheduled my car to be dropped off when they opened. When i pulled uu no one was there to open the shop. Another customer and I were standing and waiting for 20 mins. Couldn't contact them, so I had to go elsewhere because I took the morning off to deal with this. read more

This happened less than a year ago, this experience should have been posted a long before now, i wish i had a video. My father is disabled, he knew one of the technicians and had it set up with him to come in and look at a few things. My father has a walker, we both walk in. A short bearded guy, probably in his early to mid 30s kinda greets us and asks how he can help us, i'm opening the door trying to get my father settled and he repeats himself, i asked if he can wait for my dad to sit down, he then asks again, that's fine but how can i help you in a very patronizing tone. There was one customer, and elderly man and he basically received a free show compliments of Mr. Tire management. I did not like that my father was kinda struggling to get in the door and this guy who runs the desk can't have the patience to let a customer sit down and catch a breath, i voiced that when the technician we knew came out, in front of him. Southeast Columbus management fashion he did the opposite of diffusing the situation. Some bald dude sitting at the computer comes to the defense of his co-worker being an impatient piece of something that belongs in the toilet, no surprise to find out that was his boss. I never feel pressured or intimidated as some places make women feel in order to up sell services and products. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! I would absolutely NEVER recommend anyone ever going to Mr. Tire. In the middle of 2013, we took our car in because we had a squeaky belt. They said to fix it, it just needed tightened and they charged us $25 to tighten it. It continued to do it and we took it in later that week. Apparently it wasn't tightened enough, so they tightened it again. It still proceeded to do it, so we took it back a third time. The third time, they claimed it was because we needed a new belt and charged us $30 to inspect the issue that they should have fixed it initially when we paid, or to have just said on the first time we did need a new belt. When we went on the third time, we didn't expect them to charge us for a so called "inspection" on the work they did not do properly. The belt is newer, so it couldn't have been the case, so we took it someplace else. It ended up being that a bolt in the alternator was loose. We were very mad that we wasted $55 at this store. We wrote corporate, who sent the message to Larry, the manager of the store. Larry was very rude and didn't really have much to say, except for the fact that he was calling only because he had to because of the corporate message. After a long battle on the phone, he didn't really care about the situation, and it was just "whatever" to him. He ended up refunding us the $30 for the inspection to our credit card for the work after a very lengthy fight. Months later, we now get a letter from NCO, a collection agency. When contacting Mr. Tire corporate, Diane did not know about this because the case was "out of her hands" and she didn't have any info on this. So we called NCO. Apparently, Mr. Tire claimed we were not paying the invoice at their store, and have been trying to contact us prior to February 2014, in which after it was turned over to collections after February 27th. We've received no phone calls or letters from Mr. Tire. Yes, Mr. Tire gives someone their money back and then expects it back. Very dirty company, please do NOT go here. Go elsewhere where you get quality service and a more trustworthy company for your car repairs. read more

I don't usually write online reviews but these guys deserve kudos. I picked up a drywall screw in my tire and needed it plugged quickly. Not only did they take my car right away, they fixed it quickly while I waited and watched. They were very cordial and friendly, and ended up not charging me for the repair at all! I know plugging a tire is quick and relatively simple work, but this was above and beyond superior customer service. I did not haggle prices nor did I ask for a discount, and certainly not any free services. I read the 1 star review for this place. From what I could tell from the business card available at the customer desk "Larry" is no longer the service manager.
