Several years ago I had a major problem, took the car in, and they gave me a quote that it would cost around $550. When I picked the car up the next day, the charge was only around $350 - total. When I asked why the difference between the quote and the final charge, they said that they got the replacement part cheaper than expected. Keep in mind that I authorized a charge of $550, they could have charged me the full amount, but they only charged the real cost of the part plus labor. Totally honest folks!

He said he couldn't give me a price until after he looked at the tire to make sure there wasn't a leak from a puncture. Truck goes up on the rack and the tire comes off. Comes back and said it will be $80 to replace the valve stem. I said I think that's a little high I'll go somewhere else. Comes back 5 minutes later and says his employee already started replacing The valve stem so there would be no charge. Oops on his part. Woke up this morning and my tire was flat. Took it to a different shop who found a puncture and leak. Mr Tire never checked for a leak. Just wanted to charge me $80 for the valve stem. Beware of Mr tire.

By the time I got home, they had fallen off somewhere along the way, so I ended up losing $60 because of it. I also tried to use the warranty on my tires and showed them the original invoice, but they apparently couldn't figure out how to read or verify it. Instead of helping me, they told me I would have to go back to the location where I originally purchased the tires. What bothered me the most was the customer service. While I was there, another customer had a question about what he was being charged. He was being polite and simply trying to understand the charges, but the manager raised her voice and yelled at him in front of everyone. It was extremely uncomfortable and unprofessional. Overall, I was very disappointed with the experience. The tire rotation itself seemed fine, but losing $60 because the hubcaps were not properly installed, not being able to use my warranty even though I had the original invoice, and seeing a customer being treated that way is enough for me not to return to this location.

I arrived early at 7:50, when I tried to go check in, the door was locked and there was a hand written note on the door explaining that due to staffing issues they wouldn't open until 8am. "No Problem", I will just wait in my car for a few minutes. Two people arrived and stood at the door waiting to let in so when the doors did open, I was third in line. The first person steps up to the desk to check in and after looking them up in the system, the tech exclaims "I'm sorry I don't see an appointment at this Firestone for you. It looks like you set one up at another Firestone." then proceeds to take his request and checks him in. The second lady steps up. She also doesn't have an appointment, and the tech checks her in just like the first guy. I get up, I see you have an appointment at 8:00am, it is now 8:15am mind you, and after taking my keys I ask him how long it will take. He looks over at the other two people who don't have appointments, kind of shrugs his shoulders and tells me it will be a while. I ask for my keys back and leave. Never once did he tell the two people without appointments that he will have to work them in or tell them to maybe go to the correct Firestone. So disappointed. So maybe this would be a 4 or 5 star review if I didn't make an appointment and just showed up when they open. I bought a car jack and rotated my own tires.

We picked up our car from this Midas location yesterday evening after they completed the almost…read more$4,000.00 worth of work they told us the car needed. A little over an hour after we had the car, it started beeping and a new warning light came on. My husband called Midas first thing this morning. He was told that the car just needed to reset itself and there was nothing they could really do. He was also told that the current warning code was already there and showed up on the diagnostic test they completed. This not only is a lie, it contradicts what they said about the car needing to reset itself. If this were true, why wasn't it included in the work they said needed to be done? At this very moment, my husband is stuck on the side of the road waiting on AAA because the car stopped on him. We took it to Midas because it was running hot. It never stopped on us. This happened only after they worked on it. Having car trouble is already a major headache. Now we have to figure out our transportation options and what to do next when a mechanic takes advantage of you. Learn from our mistake. Do not bring your car here!
