DO NOT LET THIS FACILITY TOUCH YOUR CAR!!!!! THEY ARE RIPE OFF ARTISTS DISQUISED AS MECHANICS. MY DAUGHTER HAD A NEW TRANSMISSION PUT IN HER VEHICLE AND WITHIN SEVEN MONTHS HER TRANSMISSION PUT HER DOWN WHILE SHE WAS TRAVELING OUT OF TOWN. She was unwisely told to stop the car for an hour and then start driving it. She was more than 300 miles away from home. Interestingly, a friend of hers had the same problem with this establishment. He had his transmission supposedly fixed and within less than six months, it was down again. When he took it back, it continued to cause him problems. He eventually had to take it to another transmission place which fixed it. He lost thousands of dollars. My daughter has also lost thousands of dollars, having to take it to a place to get fixed, have it towed, paying for a hotel and missing work. I am an attorney and I am used to people like this individual who routinely ripe off people. IN addition, he offered no recourse to fix the car or help with towing her vehicle. I like this place a lot! It can be pricey but you get what you pay for. They seam to be very honest, reliable and trustworthy. I have take to of my vehicle there and I will go there again because I gotten my car back and it was making noise, took it back at night left keys and drop box and they called me and ask what's was the issue. They called me back just as they promised and told the issue was not what they fixed. They told me what was wrong with my car and who I could take it to. What I have liked about patronizes this establishment on Covington Hwy is the accessibility to someone who could actually provide answers right away and provide you a convenient time to bring in your vehicle. This often saved me time. My husband and I have brought our BMW, Galant and both trucks (Silverado and daughter's Chevrolet Trailblazer) and had repairs done here. Ed and Dee have always been very helpful--awesome. Recently they have hired an assistant. She seems to serve as somewhat of an interceptor. She will not let you speak with anyone. Since Dee is out and it is just Ed, I realized he may be overwhelmed so I stopped by with my question. The assistant came outside and met me at my truck and asked me how could she assist me. I told her everything I needed before she'd allow me to speak with Ed. And she stood just steps away to listen. I spoke with Ed about some work I needed done to the Trailblazer and also to see if I could bring a used car to have checked out before making a purchase and he stated I could. My husband called 4 days later to see if we could bring the car and the assistant told us yes we could bring it. However when we showed up 10 minutes later, she apologized, stating Ed was not there. She stated he had to go an "emergency run" to pick up a part AND where he had to pick it up from was someplace far away AND he would not be back for a while. She kept adding a little bit more to the story which led us to believe she was not being as truthful. I know they have a lot of business and stay busy, so if they were too busy to see us, this could have been stated when we called. If you are a loyal patron, just know while Dee is out, you definitely won't get that personable service you may be accustomed to. Disappointed. read more

I would advise you to take your car elsewhere. Before I took my car here I only had 1 code for the transmission. I explained to Dee that I just wanted to pass emissions. he replaces the transmission and I get the car back now I have more codes then when I came and yet still not able to pass emissions after paying 1400. The car has shifting issues and the pan is leaking. my car was in better condition before bringing it here. These people are not knowledgeable and is trying to convince me that my pcm wouldn't read the codes fully due to trans code which was fact checked and proven wrong. I will be trying to dispute the charges from this shop as it is a scam clearly. read more

Our family of 5 was broken down on the interstate here on our way to Florida! Worst nightmare! We quickly found this place on Yelp and called and got immediate help! They were able to tow the vehicle, bring all 5 of us back to the shop and fix our vehicle! They got us back on the road and on our way to vacation! I came across Mr. Transmission by chance when my Mini Cooper kept telling me my temperature was getting too hot. The gentleman in the front worked was very kind to me. He took a look, filled my coolant, and explained I had a leak that would need to be looked at as soon as possible. He informed me of all the next steps and walked me through how to go about them. Do not take your car here. It will come back to you in worst condition then when you took it there! They had my car for 3 weeks and made some excuse everyday why the car was not ready. The total came to 2300 dollars. I drove the car out of the lot made 2 stops and the car stopped running. They claimed I needed a new battery, which was not true. They are trying to charge me again to look at the car. I will be picking it up and taking it somewhere else and suing them! Do not step foot in this place!! I had vehicle picked up and dropped off at company Location on Wednesday 02/10/16 On Thursday 02/11/16 i was advised the transmission pump was the cause of issue and would have issue fixed by Friday Before Shop Closed which is 6pm, I did not get any updates or calls until I called around 2pm and was advised would not repair and replacement of pump completed, time got away from them and also another part of vehicle the gear shift cable was repaired in past and was not correctly fixed so they took it upon themselves to repair it and the cost went up and I advised repair shop foreman I was not advised of any other repairs, I was not called or emailed or text info. Friday 02/12/16 I called around 10am and was advised would have it repaired today. I did not get any update calls on repair status and around 5:30pm I walked to shop to see why my vehicle was not ready. I arrived at 5:55pm and was asked to wait outside shop and I saw the open display sign turned off and nobody gave me a heads up on status of my vehicle, a lot of workers standing outside and non of them worked in repair shop, they worked in other part of building which is connected thru out. Saturday 02/13/16 I called around 10am and was advised vehicle would be ready before closing of Bsn 2, I showed up 1 hour before close of bsn and was assured it would be ready. At around 1:45pm was advised vehicle would not be ready and would be worked on Monday 02/15/16 and would be given priority to repair or complete repairs in the Morning hours. Monday 02/15/16 I called around 1:30pm and was advised vehicle not ready, the transm ission pump installed was defective and placed an order to have a replacement part delivered to shop and should have repairs completed by end of bsn 6pm.
