I had 13 oleanders that were there since the 1970s. After an hour and a half now it looks like the oleanders never existed. They went above and beyond. Me tree is the only contractor who asked what my end goal was then gave me a suggestions that saved me money. They cut and stump ground the bushes instead of removing them since I have a shallow sewer in the yard that the roots wrapped around, clogging it up. Will use again. Woke up yesterday morning to see Mr. Tree company parked in front of my house with a large tree cutting truck and smaller truck while two other large trucks were parked directly across the street at my neighbors house. They parked on a blind corner limiting it to single lane traffic into and out of our residential area. No problem as everyone drives too fast anyway. My neighbor directly across the street was getting a nice trim on their two beautiful olives trees. As we watched them one of Mr. Trees workers decided to relieve himself by urinating on the street in front of our house. UNBELIEVABLE! I yelled asking what the hell did he think he was doing. I called the cops to request a unit come by and have a talk with them. Their supervisor didn't seem concerned and grabbed a bucket and poured water on the location where his worker peed. They then moved the truck. After the police arrived I asked the police just to have a talk with them of which they did. The police informed me of what was said and that the worker who urinated was apologetic. But another Mr. Tree worker, who wasn't even involved, flipped my wife and I the bird. When I went back outside to ask the police to have another talk with the supervisor the worker who flipped us off started running at me from across the street while becoming confrontational and belligerent. He even was yelling at me and the police who had to put his hand up to stop him. The worker yelled at the police to not touch him and yelled at me to be a man. Incredible that the supervisor never intervened with his worker during this confrontation. Another police officer who was on scene had to push the confrontational workers hand away while telling him to back off. He continued to smart off while running his foul mouth. The supervisor then took all of the workers to the front of another truck and after awhile they continued on my neighbors yard to finish the job. This business would have earned my respect if the Supervisor would have stopped by to at least apologize. We also made a phone call and left a recorded message with the business about their workers conduct of which they have not responded. I would have given this business an even lower score as their bathroom practices and contact with surrounding neighbors is DISGUSTING! read more

I just had 2 large trees cut down and a stump grinded down today. They completed the whole job in 45 minutes with their crew of about 6 people. I was worried about the neighbor's string lights and how our trees were hanging on them. They got the trees down without messing up their lights! I was very impressed and pleased. I have been using Mr. Tree for 2 years to trim my palms. Anyone can trim, but having an arborist prune is the only way to have it done right. Mr Tree uses a bucket truck to trim palm which is safer for the crew and healthier for the tree. The have an amazing crew that quickly trims, cleans up, and hauls away the branches. I was incredibly impressed with their service when a citizen needed help getting their cat which for six days had been stuck in a palm tree. The fire department would not come out. The men were professional, pleasant, polite and extremely hard working. I was flexible about getting the estimate and took Joe at his word that he would stop by when he was available. His name was at the gate and he was able to assess the job when it was a convenient time for him. He contacted me after looking at the property and gave me a very fair price. It was the best estimate of four that I had gotten. The wait was worth it to complete the job as his schedule is filled approximately 4 weeks out; I would highly recommend him and his team to anyone looking for an expert and professional tree removal and pruning company. We contacted Joe at Mr. Tree to see if he could come over and take a look at a dying palm tree in our backyard. We really wanted an actual arborist who could help us with the tree or explain what was happening. He stopped by and was very knowledgeable and spent quite a bit of time with us explaining the trees/ brush around our yard (we just moved here from the northeast, so the landscape is vastly different and my husband likes to normally do yardwork himself). It was really very helpful. It turns out that one of our palms had a virus and needed to be cut down. We received a quote within a day or two to remove the tree and trim another. I finally accepted the quote about a month later and requested to have another tree removed while they were here - they promptly updated the quote. They scheduled the work for around 3-4 weeks later, notified me via email about a week or more in advance, came as scheduled, and did a great job. They were in and out quickly, everything was cleaned up nicely, and I think the price quoted was quite fair. My husband wanted to do everything himself, but was very pleased that we hired them to take care of it instead! As I've seen in another review, Joe doesn't do a great job of scheduling his visits in advance - it's more of a 'stop-by when he's in the area' type of situation. We're on the opposite side of town, but he did text me (maybe a day or 2 in advance) once he knew he'd be here and showed up that day as promised - I just didn't know exactly what time he would arrive, which can be challenging for someone who needs to schedule around work and wants to be present. I knew this going into it and still wanted to work with a certified arborist, so it wasn't a huge deal for us. I would easily hire them again. read more

I can't comment on their service as they never showed. I would get a random "I'm in your neighborhood so can I come by?" in the middle of the workday and then a followup saying "oh, my appointment showed, never mind". We are very impressed by Mr. Tree! Especially Joe, yesterday's dust storm broke a very big branch of one of our sumac trees, we called Mr. Tree before we even knew there were far bigger damage in The Valley. Joe was very attentive, friendly and prompt to help. Today he showed up first thing in the morning, took care of our sumac (it might even make it, fingers crossed) and on top of that, he helped us set the irrigation system which we didn't really know how to use (we just moved in a new house a couple of months ago) Overall, awesome service and very reasonable prices! I had to have a huge, 15 year old African Sumac removed from my back yard because the extensive roots were causing damage to the common wall. Mr Tree helped a customer of mine that was having problems with Pigeons in a huge tree just off of their patio at their house. The Pigeons were sitting in the tree and the droppings from it would cover the patio including the door area to come from inside the house. Mr Tree with their expertise was able to trim the tree eliminating the good areas for the Pigeons to sit and they have moved on. We had a mesquite tree in our front yard that you could probably see from outer space, via satellite, it was so huge and unruly. To make matters worse for our poor giant, a small tornado had torn down our street a few years back, adding dead branches to the tangled mess at the center of the tree.
