My tree in my front yard almost completely came out of the ground from the crazy winds we have been having in Vegas. We needed to have 5 Japanese blueberry trees cut down as they appeared to be dying no matter how much fertilizer and water we gave them. They were messy, leaves and debris was falling into our pool that had to be cleaned almost daily to remove the trash from the trees. We contacted Green America after reading reviews. Within an hour the office contacted me and arranged a consultation with Saul. He was timely, knowledgeable and also discussed our options. We decided to have the trees cut down and replaced with Italian cypress trees. Gaby the office gal contacted us and we agreed on a date to have the work done. In the date and time promised a crew of 7 came out. They worked diligently and also caring of the property. Within 2 hours the 5 trees were cut down, replaced with 6 Italian cypress trees, fertilizer added and they also realigned the irrigation system around each tree. Afterwards they did a complete clean up of the area and raked the landscaping rocks back over the area. Everyone we dealt with were professional, flexible and did an amazing job. We hired them to replace two dead trees and irrigation system. They sent a whole team and professional equipment. They made sure we understood what they were going to do and if we had any questions. The work was efficient and quick. They were very careful and cleaned up everything when they were done. They tested the irrigation to make sure it was all working and they did a great job overall. I was looking for a new landscaper in the Summer of 2020. I went online and found Green America and decided to hire them for monthly maintenance. Things started to deteriorate pretty quickly. In the Summer of 2020 I hired Green America to install landscape lighting in the backyard. When the estimator comes he tells me I need to pay a 50% deposit. Hands me the receipt and tells me the amount I'll pay after the work is completed. A few days later a crew of 5 guys show up and they were at my house maybe 20 minutes before I get a knock on my door from one of the workers informing me they didn't complete the job and I'll have to call the front office in order for them to come back. I call the front office and explained the situation to the girl on the phone. I was given a day and time for another crew to come out and finish the job. When the day arrives for the job to be completed no one showed up. I call the front office again and explained to the girl on the phone no one showed up to finish the job. I was given another day and time. A crew finally shows up to complete the job. After the job was completed I receive an email with the invoice. The invoice was for the full amount not the remaining balance with the deposit. The deposit was missing. Pulled a Bait and Switch. I decided not to argue and let it go. In the Spring of 2021 I started noticing my house was getting skipped and my yard was not being maintained. I would have to call Green America in order for them to send someone out. Around November/December of 2021 a rep from Green America calls me and tells me they will no longer be doing residential maintenance and won't be doing my yard anymore and cancelled my service. Found out through a neighbor they still do residential maintenance. They still have customers where I live. Green America lied and told me they no longer do residential maintenance. Fast forward to April in 2022. I hired Green America to redo the shoddy job that a previous landscaper did. When I called the front office to go over everything I wanted I specifically asked about my Gas BBQ Grill that was installed incorrectly and to inspect outdoor leaks. I was told they don't do BBQ grills, they don't do gas lines or outdoor plumbing. I went online to Green Americas website and their social media page. Their website and social media page says they do outdoor plumbing and BBQ grills. BBQ grills are either gas or propane. I would have accepted the fact if they told me since we didn't install it, we can't touch it but I was lied to and told no. When the time came for the first two crews to come to install the trees and the retaining wall the guys were clean polite and answered all my questions. When the time came for the last crews to install the artificial turf they were a no call no-show. Had to call front office multiple times because no one would show up to install the artificial turf. In February I hired Green America to trim some trees that my current landscaper was unable to do. I noticed a leak in my backyard and went online to see if Green America was open on Saturday . Website said Green America was open on Saturdays so I called and 10 minutes later I get a text from a rep from Green America telling me they were closed. Website said they were open on Saturdays.I was lied to. Didn't argue and a day was scheduled for the rep to come out and look at the leak. The day comes and no rep showed up to inspect the leak. That was the last straw for me. Overall, I think they did a decent job on my Yard. Unfortunately, I feel like I did not receive the same great service as other Reviews. Estimators acted like they didn't want to be there. Estimator was always late or no-showed for scheduled appointments. Overcharged for service. Lied to by staff. Would not recommend. read more

I am so impressed with this company I will forever recommend them to anyone who needs a good landscaping company. We wanted all the bushes taken , palms left in and rest of the areas filled in with rock and matching border. Five workers came out and in 2 days finished the work. After a strong referral from an employee, and after interviewing multiple different companies, we finally found our favorite landscaping company in Vegas. It was quite the saga trying to even get quotes from the other places we tried to use... I was tired of getting the run-around and had almost given up when I found these guys. In the past year, we have used Green America for a complete front and back yard landscaping remodel, new paver patio, new irrigation, as well as irrigation leak fixing at my significant other's rental property, and a few yard clean-ups. Now, I tell everyone I know to use them. As the daughter of a landscaper, I grew up mowing lawns of millionaires and McDonalds, doing my mom's Quickbooks, and have many childhood memories in a garden or a nursery. I also know the business side of things and how to spot a crook. We had acres of gardens and giant lawns to care for in Washington. Nevada is totally different - with its desert plants and watering needs, and I frankly have no desire to play in the dirt anymore. Here's why we think they are the best landscaping company in Las Vegas: 1) They communicate very well by text, email, and phone calls. They have an office staff that works hard to keep it all coordinated. I have been impressed with how well they keep you informed of what's going on. We get contacted before they arrive, and they knock on the door when done to tell you they are leaving. 2) At my request, they provided a written quote, with the actual items and measurements on it that we discussed and it was on par with what it should have been. Much appreciated. Other companies just texted me a number of $6,000 two minutes after leaving. It wasn't a $6,000 job. Some gave quotes with totally wrong items on it. I didn't want a yard full of random boulder rocks. I didn't want red crushed rock. Some never showed up at all to give a quote in the first place. I got the small river rocks that we wanted, instead of trying to talk us out of them - it was my neighbors only request. Other contractors tried to tell me they were hard to find, out of style, they didn't know the price, tried to down-sell me, etc. When we had a misunderstanding on the layout of the plants, they fixed it and the end result came out beautiful. Our neighbors were blown away and love the new yard. 4) They have really good vibe energy and have been really honest sweet people to work with. We called this company because we were having a water issue when the sprinklers would turn on. A representative came out and we explained the problem, he told us it was a bad solenoid and told us we needed to replace all the valves. The charge was $1700., half up front the balance when finished. Not knowing and not being able to use the system, we agreed. The following week a crew of 5 came out and changed all 8 valves. It took all day and the crew was very friendly, polite, and clean. Afterwards, the system did the same exact thing and 1 of the crew said "if that's what it's doing, it's the timer and my boss said to bring one out with us. I looked it up online and the timer was $68.99, and that's all the problem was. We asked for the rep to come back and explain why he didn't just change that if he knew that's what it was and he said that the valves would eventually go bad anyway. When we argued about the price, and said he should have changed the timer first he said he would sent a different crew of 3 back the next day and put all of our old valves back, after all the pipes were cut and all wires cut. Of course it wouldn't have last too long. I told the rep that if he was really a good rep, instead of paying his crew of 3 for an all day project, he could have given us a discount on the balance due, but he said he didn't have the authority to do that but when I asked who his boss was he insisted he owned the company and wouldn't even tell me his name. I would not recommend this rep be allowed to go to anyone's house to represent a company unless the business is ripping people off. read more

Then they replaced all our real grass with artificial turf front/back yard. The built a cinderblock wall around our pool equipment. They did all kinds of excellent paver stone paths for us. I first met Saul when he knocked on my door randomly one Saturday morning to inform me that he was working in our neighbor's yard and some palm tree clippings had fallen into our backyard. He was asking if he could clean it all up!!! I was totally shocked... most people would never be so kind and responsible. Upon chatting with him as his team picked up the branches, I realized how genuine he was and poked around with some questions about lawn care and cleanup. My yard looked a mess and I didn't have the bandwidth to get back there and work on it myself. I ended up booking for monthly pine needle services and a backyard cleanup right there on the spot. At no point did I ever feel "sold" or "pressured". Saul even took a close look at my plants and told me the watering schedule I needed to be on (of course I was doing it wrong!) and the life expectancy of my plants. Bottom line: he knew his stuff, and you could tell. Since then, the work his team does has been impeccable. They are quick, thorough, organized, and go above and beyond. On top of ALL of this, Gaby, their office manager, is nothing less than an angel. Her communication skills are second to none. She calls to confirm services, sends texts to let you know that the team is on their way to your property, and sends clear, timely invoices through their easy online bill pay. My struggle with landscapers has always been to get some sort of solid communication: why is it so hard to text me back? Why are prices always changing? Ugh! Not with these guys! We grossly neglected a large mesquite tree in the front of our house, and started getting hate mail from the HOA about it. Green America came in with the best quote. They cleaned up and trimmed our tree while we were at work and, when we came home, we were shocked at how incredible it looked. My husband asked them if we should trim quarterly and they told him it wasn't necessary and we could do twice annually. Very professional, very fast, great clean up and competitive prices! We needed some landscape work at our home, 2 each sago palm transplants, to purple chase tree trimmings, one partially dead tree removal, various plant removals and landscaping rocks and other products removed for disposal at the landfill. I got three quotes, two from the Home Concepts magazine in Las Vegas, and one other one from a friend who came highly recommended. Green America was in Home Concepts and they were tied for the lowest bid but it was their professionalism that one us over. They gave me a bid on a sheet of paper detailing all the work. The others did not! Their license number was imprinted on the side of their very clean truck, along with their phone number. They worked fast and efficient and they were mindful of the other plants and sprinkler lines I had on the property. They continually asked me if what they were doing was good as they worked on. I was initially excited about the positive reviews for Green America Tree & Landscaping, so I made an appointment for an estimate for potential landscape excavation and new landscaping work. I made the appointment with Diana and she was very kind and professional and booked me for a couple of day out between the hours of 9am to 1pm. I was told by Diana the estimator would call ahead of time before he arrives. The day comes for my appointment and no one showed up between the hours of 9am to 1pm as confirmed by the appointment. I called after 1pm and spoke to Gaby (who was also very nice) to see what happened and she said she would call the estimator to find out what happened. Gaby called me back shortly and informed me the estimator was running behind scheduled due to a commercial property site he was at, but he was on his was to my home. I told Gaby I would prefer to cancel the appointment and I would seek other bidders for my project. She understood and apologized. I told Gaby, if the estimator would have at least called me to say he was running behind, that would have been fine, but I took time to be home for this appointment at the allotted time they booked this. I did find it very interesting the estimator said he was en route after I made the call for his missed appointment. From their reviews and pictures of work on their website, I was looking forward to possibly doing business with them. But this was not a positive way to start out. read more

I cannot give enough praises to this company. I have lived here since 1985 and have had many nightmare experiences with contractors here. This was my second time using Green America, however, this was not a simple tree trimming. It included a palm tree trimming, a complete redo for my drip system, front and back, relocation of grass sprinklers hitting my house installation of new irrigation timer. I needed to have at least the relocation of grass sprinkler done right away since my house exterior is being painted next Monday, 3/29. Your office staff is beyond superior! Their attention to detail is to be commended. Your estimator showed up the following day. Most reasonable pricing. I notified him of at least moving the grass sprinkler before 3/29. Well, they did one better. Their full crew showed up the next day, 3/23 and completed the entire job. They even responded today to follow up on a minor problem with the drip irrigation.
