Mr. West is another one of my favorite cafes. I love their coffee and the ambiance. It's the perfect spot to get some work done or simply hang out and relax. I've also tried their grilled cheese sandwich, which was pretty good. Overall, it's a great cafe with excellent coffee.

Snagged 2 seats at the bar. Otherwise it's open seating and you stand in line to order food. It was nice to sit at the bar as it was not as noisy sitting at the tables. Ordered the club sandwich ($18.50) and Mr. West Combo $16 - half sandwich, tomato soup and a cookie. They messed up my sandwich as I wanted a tuna melt but quick fix for that. Food was tasty and decent portions. Good option for a meal and drinks in UVillage.

This used to be my go to coffee shop when in the area. I love the space and the vibe and the coffee / food used to be great. The last couple times I've been I've been disappointed in both AND the prices have really gotten high. I know most coffee shops are experiencing this but this place seems really extreme.

There was a long line on weekend brunch hours. We got coffee (both or espresso drinks - a Cortado and the other was a macchiato) and pastry. I forgot the name of the pastry, but it was with berries and it was amazing. The line took us about 20 minutes

Great cafe for healthy brunch and breakfast. I love it that there are more vegan and vegetarian options. I had the shashuka, it was super delicious. A great comfort food on a rainy Seattle morning. The coffee was solid. It was a pleasant experience.

Good place to study! It closes late which is really nice. I ordered a grilled cheese and a plain latte and both were good. I know they have good specialty drinks--I've tried the cardamom one in the past but wasn't a big fan--but lots of variety. Expensive-ish but worth it! In the cafe, there was light music, good lighting, and I could find a seat.

Great breakfast place in U village (really the only option). Their curried avocado toast is incredible with the crumbled bacon on top. I will get it every time even if it's kind of overpriced...$21. Their drinks are on the pricier end as well. It's honestly a really cute and fun vibe once you're sitting down and have your food/drinks in front of you. I just really don't enjoy the mad house it is when you walk in. It gets stressful waiting in a line to order food and then waiting in a separate line to order a cocktail. After all the waiting, you then have to fight for the limited seating.

WiFi has definitely improved! The staff are friendly and food is tasty. It's cozy and has a nice ambiance. Hopefully once winter hits it stays warm cause I've been coming here a lot lately!

This place as cute as the photos! The inside is very aesthetically pleasing. However I could see how busy it gets. Luckily for me, no one was at the kiosk on a Tuesday around 11. I got a coffee (5.50) and a croissant (3.50). The croissant was 10/10. It was warmed perfectly and super buttery. The coffee was good but it's not the greatest thing. Pricing on both items was reasonable! There was no seating available, but next time would like to see how dine in goes. If you're looking for a cute cafe to get some work done, I would recommend Mr West

We ordered coffee since we just had dinner. They had a patio out back and where we sat. The coffee tasted delicious and it even had a cute design. Service was fast and ambience is very inviting.

Wanted a bite to eat early in the morning at u village and this is the only spot open, it was pretty crazy line at 10/11 am and a little hard to find seating but we got spots in the indoor outdoor area. There wasn't much interaction with service as you order through a tablet and they text you to pick up your order at the bar and it's self service clean, it was a little hard to find the cleaning tubs though. Overall it was very nice and the food was good and great spot when you're at the mall. The savory roll was meh but the brussel sprouts and sandwich was alright, I thought the coffee was pretty oaky too.

I go to study spot around u district!! This place has so much to offer and such a good variety of food options. I usually get their Turkish eggs but since I came during happy hour this time I got their white bean hummus with pita! I love the addition of chilly crisp oil on top! They give so much hummus that u couldn't finish it and wished I got the leftovers to go. They also have a lot of outlets here so it's great for studying. They also have great service here consistently. All the staff are super sweet!

Pre-event coordination was difficult from the start. During the venue walkthrough, the venue coordinator was dismissive and seemed unwilling to collaborate with the wedding's own coordinator or with me. They mentioned a connection point for the house sound system but couldn't locate or demonstrate it that day. After weeks of follow-up emails and delays, they eventually sent a photo of a corroded, dirt-covered RCA cable -- the "connection point" in question. Sound check scheduling was last-minute and disorganized. I was given only a few days' notice for available test dates, and on the day of my scheduled sound check, I arrived to an empty building and had to wait outside before anyone responded. Once inside, staff couldn't operate their own house sound system -- they called the owner, who also couldn't identify the issue, and ultimately staff had to consult an AI chatbot to find a mislabeled control knob. In total, roughly 45 minutes to an hour were lost due to the venue's own unfamiliarity with its equipment, with no acknowledgment of the delay. Communication went quiet after that, and on the morning of the wedding, the owner reached out asking me to source a specialized cable last-minute for a plan that had already been agreed upon at the walkthrough. At that point I opted to run my own independent sound setup rather than rely on the venue's system, requesting only power access -- which turned out to be a string-light outlet in the garden (functional, at least). During the reception, catering ran out of the main entrée with no apparent contingency plan, and staff simply told guests there was no more available. Later in the evening, the venue coordinator asked me to lower the music to a level equivalent to normal conversation, well ahead of the agreed-upon time and far below the previously stated decibel limit. When I asked for clarification or documentation (a decibel reading, for example), I was told I was being "confrontational" and to simply comply. The coordinator did not return with any supporting information despite agreeing to. The owner later asked me to end the music 30 minutes before the contracted end time, which I declined per our agreement, and the event concluded on schedule. To be clear, the venue's front-line staff -- bartenders and servers -- were excellent and were genuinely the highlight of the night from a service standpoint. Unfortunately, the venue's management and event coordination were unprepared and inconsistent throughout, which added avoidable stress to the couple's wedding day. I hope this feedback is useful for Bottlehouse's future operations, but I can't currently recommend the venue for weddings or events based on this experience.

They do have a good wine list, but the pricing is HIGH. Think $25-$45 PER GLASS. Some of the wines this made sense for, but they really should consider adding a wine or two below $25 per glass. I have my WSET 2 and know a decent amount about wines so could understand why some of them were priced like this, but the whole menu being this high was strange. $32 for a glass of pinot noir didn't sit right with me. We asked to do flights so we could try a few things, but they said they were only doing glass pours. We asked for a rec for an acidic, fruity red and felt like the gal just told us the most expensive non-tannic red on the menu. Fine. For $32 a glass, I would not order what I got again. We headed to a restaurant after and got $14 glass pours that we preferred. This is a great place to go to impress someone with the chic vibes, but good wine can be found elsewhere at a fraction of the price. I do see the appeal though. Great first impression since this was my sister's first time at Joey, or so I thought. We get seated at the outside patio and we order water to start. The water glasses came in a very small glass and since it was hot out, we drank our cups fast. I asked our waitress if we could have a pitcher / jug / container of some sort explicitly saying we want to refill our glasses. I suppose there was a miscommunication because a different waitress brought a bottle and then 3 more glasses out. We were then charged $10 for the bottle. I really just wanted a pitcher of tap, ice cold water we could drink since our waitress was not attentive to us whatsoever. My frustrations lie with the service we were given. 3 people eating at Joey is NOT cheap. It took 20 minutes for us to order our drinks and appetizer. Our appetizer came out before our drinks. We waited another 15 minutes for our drinks after that. A different waitress brought them out so at this point we have three waitresses, have been there nearly 50 minutes in the heat, barely any water with NO ice, and still have not ordered our food. I am disappointed since it had died down and there were only 3 other tables occupied outside at this point. Our waitress finally asks for our orders and we wait another 20 minutes for our food to come out. My partner ordered a larger size steak - $7 more. When the plates were brought out my sides were paired with his steak on my plate and vice versa. We asked the waitress can you verify that the 7 oz. steak was present in front of one of us since we were paying more. She left and checked with the chef, but we had to wait even more time before we ate in case they needed to take our plates back. We eat our meal and finish with our plates cleaned, glasses empty, and all stacked with napkins on top indicating we were finished eating. Our waitress walked past multiple times without ever checking in on us. She walked by and I eventually waved my hand and asked for the check. I see the $10 bottle was charged and asked for it to be removed. Thankfully, they did. Food was good as I have eaten Joey at the Bellevue location, but for the $160 tab I am VERY dissatisfied with our service. For the time and money we spent I would have appreciated more check ins, our food plated correctly, and WAY faster service. All in all, we sat there for over an hour and half when it could've been an hour max. Also, we were served room temperature water on a hot day when other tables had ice. Hoping the managers work on service. Don't waste your hard earned time and money by visiting this location, just go to Bellevue. Never had this bad of service there ONCE.
