This review is for delivery only. The food here exceeded my expectations in some respects. Hubbie and I got the chicken with baby shrimp and broccoli lunch special with chicken fried rice and the shrimp toasts and boneless spare ribs to share. The rice lacked salt and was super oily but the flavor of the chicken and baby shrimp with broccoli was solid. The sauce was on the runnier side and tasted a lot lighter than other chicken and broccoli sauces I'm used to. The stars were the boneless spare ribs and the shrimp toasts. The ribs were delicious, not overly sticky sweet and packed a lot of flavor. The shrimp toasts tasted fresh, with a squeeze of lemon they were great. I recommend doing an appetizer night from this spot. They clearly have a bunch of fun options ranging from different dumplings and fried apps. Delivery was SUPER quick too for lunch. And the prices were super affordable. Will be ordering from here again.

Delivery review only. Went online & selected one of the "most popular" menu items - a combination platter - chicken & broccoli with rice. The food arrived nice & hot. The main entree was hidden beneath a large amount of rice - easily enough food for two people. Love the crunchy noodles ! **Remember to ask for mustard - they only included soy sauce & sweet and sour packets - so if you're a fan of mustard, remember to request it.

I tried mr wonton today for lunch off the recommendation of a colleague , I ordered the sesame tofu a shrimp roll and a side of the fried fantail shrimp (fried hard) when I tell you the crunch the crisp the snap crackle and pop was soo good? Immediately a yes! this was literally some of the crispiest tofu and shrimps I have maybe ever had ! would definitely go back and try more!

What a great little gem in park slope! We came for lunch and had the lunch special. The ambiance is great with nice decor and pleasant, relaxing, meditative world music. Plus the service was great. Really nice people work here! When the service is great it makes a big difference! Our lunch special started off with hot and sour soup. Which we both loved. I had the garlic chicken with vegetables. The vegetables were very fresh and the chicken was tender and not over cooked (like some other restaurants do) I loved it but next time I'll substitute broccoli for celery. (I can't eat celery) My brother had the chicken with broccoli which he liked. But he likes the garlic sauce better and will do that next time. Great value tasty meal! I'll be coming back again!

VEGETABLE WONTONS IN HOT SESAME SAUCE!! It us si hard to find a vegetarian wonton like this and they are absolutely delicious. Love the old school vibe of the place as well. Everything I have tried here had been good.

The cutest little restaurant in BK. The best dumplings. Wasn't crazy about the chicken & broccoli. Will definitely return for the dumplings and amazing service.

Pleasantly surprised. Dined in for some good ol Chinese American food and it was beyond my expectations. Great if you want no frills yet quality and pleasant atmosphere, and they close late! Ordered the eggplant with garlic sauce, pineapple fried rice and broccoli beef. Everything was super fresh. Presentation was really nice even. Service was cool. Bottled beer. I wish I knew about this place sooner.

The staff was friendly and helpful and I was able to choose my protein from a variety of options. The dining area is spacious and can accommodate a good crowd. Needed to use the restroom so I headed to their restroom to find it was spacious and very clean, a big plus for me. The kitchen area is not seen but I imagine it is kept clean and organized. Down to the food, the bibimbap was delicious even without the condiments that comes with the dish. This eatery will see me again when craving this dish.

We sat for about 10-15 minutes after ordering before anyone brought us water or our drinks, even though the place was basically empty. Second, the menu has changed and some very basic Korean dishes we used to enjoy--like bulgogi and duk mandoo guk-- are no longer available, which was surprising. Finally, there was no banchan or ssam lettuce wraps, which are usually standard at Korean restaurants and something we always looked forward to. The food we ordered was still tasty, but overall the experience was disappointing. Between the slow service and the menu changes, it just isn't the same place we used to enjoy.

Taylor's Tayke: Cafe Chili offers a fun introduction to Thai…read moreflavors through both its afternoon tea experience and its full dinner menu. What stood out most was the variety. From savory bites and traditional Thai dishes to tea service and desserts, there was plenty to explore throughout the visit. The afternoon tea service in particular offered a unique way to experience the menu beyond a traditional meal. My Taysty Tayke: Get Down & Dirty, Expeditiously: Fish in the Boat One of the most memorable dishes from the visit. Fresh salmon paired with bright flavors and a subtle kick of spice. It almost gave salmon salad vibes while still feeling distinctly Thai. Egg Tart Soft, creamy, and incredibly smooth. The texture was outstanding and easily one of the strongest items from the afternoon tea selection. Crying Tiger Skewer Tender, juicy, flavorful, and everything you'd want from grilled beef. Simple execution done extremely well. Hot Chai Tea Excellent on its own, but the addition of cinnamon elevated it even further by adding warmth and complexity to every sip. Shrimp Bite Loved the texture here. Fresh shrimp with a bright lime flavor and none of the chewiness that can sometimes hold shrimp dishes back. Duck Salad Fresh, juicy, and tender with great balance throughout. Macaron with Grape The grape added a fruity sweetness that complemented the macaron nicely without overpowering it. Pork Pastry Flaky, savory, and satisfying. Dumpling Solid texture and flavor throughout. Curry Puff Enjoyable curry flavor but could have used a little more punch. Thai Wings Well executed with good flavor throughout. Rice Ball Sweet, sticky, and compact. A nice contrast to some of the savory items. Chicken & Shrimp Fried Dumplings Enjoyable but didn't stand out as much as some of the stronger offerings. The Experience: The afternoon tea service was a pleasant surprise and offered a creative way to sample multiple flavors in one sitting. Pairing that with the dinner menu gave a well-rounded look at what Cafe Chili has to offer. Best For: Afternoon tea, casual lunches, catching up with friends, introducing someone to Thai cuisine, or exploring a variety of flavors in one visit. In Conclusion: Cafe Chili shines when it leans into dishes that balance freshness, texture, and bold flavor. The Fish in the Boat, Egg Tart, Crying Tiger Skewer, and Duck Salad were the standouts for me, while the afternoon tea experience adds a unique element you don't often find at Thai restaurants. If you're looking for variety and a mix of savory and sweet offerings, Cafe Chili is worth a visit. Stamped by Elajas

Maison Sun is an intimate dining space where guests are seated around a stainless-steel counter with an open-kitchen concept. They offer a Vietnamese fusion tasting menu for $185. I appreciate the growing recognition of Vietnamese cuisine and its elevation into the fine dining space. Unfortunately, this meal didn't quite hit the mark for me. Many of the flavor combinations felt disjointed and often clashed rather than complemented one another. Shrimp Mochi: It was good. Duck Egg Custard with Caviar: Delicious! It was creamy and well-balanced. Bread with Sea Urchin Butter: The butter was unique and tasted amazing. I could probably eat a whole stick of it. Foie Gras Katsu with Passion Fruit Candy: The foie gras itself was great, but the passion fruit candy felt awkward and out of place. NZ Hiramasa with Wood Ear Mushrooms: The wood ear mushrooms overpowered the fish, which was unfortunate because the hiramasa itself was quite good. I loved the lemongrass sauce. The lemongrass flavor was very subtle. Dry-Aged Moulard Duck with Black Rice and Makrut Leaf Curry: This was the standout dish of the night. The duck was deeply flavorful, and the curry paired beautifully with it. Tiger Prawn Phở: Very mushroom-forward in flavor. It was decent, but not particularly memorable. Secret Flavour Ice Cream: Fish sauce ice cream sounds unusual, but it was unique and surprisingly good. Opal Basil and Chrysanthemum Tea Infusion Sorbet: Refreshing and light--a nice way to end the meal. There's clear creativity and intention behind the menu, but the dishes lacked the harmony needed to make the experience truly memorable.
