This is a place that I would describe as a boulangerie market, Bryan Fine creates bread and bread-related items (pita, naan, babka, kolache) rather than a ton of sweet pastries. So that bread has to be pretty darn outstanding (which it is) but also unique (which it also is!). Mr. Fine uses sourdough instead of instant yeast and tries for as long a fermentation as possible without adding acidity. He also chooses to use the best possible ingredients and makes everything in-house. My personal favorite has been the chocolate coconut babka and I normally don't like sweets at all.
