It smells amazing due to the chocolates being hand made. They also make a variety of caramel apples. On Tuesday I was able to talk to the owner/manager and ordered fourteen chocolate covered strawberries, six decorated for a gift and the rest for a cake I had made. They are to be placed on top of the cake so presentation is important. Jolyn was very accommodating and was able to do an order for me. I requested all dark chocolate too with drizzles and candy decorations on them. I posted pictures and the gift strawberries are so beautiful. My husband is sure to love them. The ones for the cake look amazing. Because of a few imperfections in the drizzle, Jolyn gave me a couple extra. Even got an extra for the gift box since she tried out a new decoration. The price is very reasonable, only paid $39. With tax. She hand dipped and decorated them herself! I couldn't ask for more and she did a beautiful job. Thank you Jolyn, you're the best

Even though it's two businesses in one location, it is a very small store with maybe four small tables. They have most of the basic candies and candy/caramel apples, but they don't have everything that you can find in other places. Today is Sunday and they don't open until 4:00pm. I was actually expecting a much larger store, but it's fairly small. The aisles aren't the widest and it definitely felt pretty tight with the three of us trying to look at everything. I feel like they did well with the space they had though. Every aisle was filled top to bottom with so many fun items. We found a few things we wanted to try (some yummy ice cream and drinks). In the back towards the left they have a huge selection of different fresh meats ready to be cooked at home. It smelled amazing and made me want to go back to pick up dinner one night. I think we'll pop in here again for another treat and maybe something to make for dinner.

Just south are some strips of businesses. Search for the karate studio and art academy, then take a left to go behind them and there's Beehive! I swear, they are trying to hide from someone, and even having visited two years ago, I still couldn't find 'em when I stopped by a few weeks back! Inside, it's an itsy lil' store offering wedges of their cheese by the pound and cheese curds. They also have a few varieties of excellent cheeses not made in house and local Creminelli salami, plus Chocolot candies. They carry a decent selection of Savannah Bee Company bath and body products, and a bit of their own branded merchandise. A variety of local stores sell Beehive Cheese, but it's still fun to stop here as you have access to all their goodies, most importantly, a variety of dreamy cheese curds. I just tried Fully Loaded for the first time: a delightful cheese fortified with High West's Double Rye Whiskey, and wow! That is a new favorite (and I truly adore all their cheeses). It's a little bit sweet, with such an intriguing flavor, and everyone I shared it with remarked that it was especially delicious. Chocolot (based in Ogden!) makes some excellent and beautiful artisan truffles. At Beehive, they also had some of their toffee, peppermint bark, and chocolate covered cinnamon bears. I really adore this brand, and it can be difficult to track down, so make sure to snatch up a box (chocolates are $2 a piece, available either as a set of three of six). The truffles vary in each package, and are not marked, but you can find a flavor key on their website: https://chocolot.com/pages/flavors. 4 stars for the shop, which could use a little excitement as it's a tad utilitarian, but 5 strong stars for their most exceptional cheese! There is a nice representation of Thai, Vietnamese, Korean, and some Indian selections. There are several chest freezers filled with a plethora of frozen seafood. The back wall is a bank of coolers with a nice selection of fresh veggies, Fresh Pho Noodles, and other tasy treats. I picked up Tom Yum soup base, Masaman Curry Paste, coconut cream, Thai Tea, instant Pho broth, Mabo Tofu sauce and a nice selection of snacks. Second I spent 25 minutes trying to check out using their so called self check out I was told by their staff the self checkout has always been an issue yet management seems incapable of addressing the issues. While it is nice they give many high school kids their first job there are consequences one of which is those students just are not up to par in certain areas. We used to shop their often now it is our store of last resort. It may have been a gem but now the gem has lost its luster. I do not recommend this establishment.

I find that shopping at places like this encourages intentionality-I don't just wander the aisles aimlessly, I come in to find something specific and purchase those items carefully.
