Very pleased with this random side quest coming back from a Chesapeake beach! We were searching for a local ice cream shop and finally found a great one in Mrs. Moo's at Spider Hall Farm. They not only had hand dipped ice cream and soft serve, to include every variation of sundae and milkshake and "blend," but they offered a lunch and breakfast menu too! They make all of the ice cream and most of the treats in-house. They also partner with local businesses to sell things like custom straw cups and lotion. The cashier was super patient as we sorted out our order, and they will bring your order to you at a table outside or to your car. Outside there are picnic tables, cafe tables, Adirondack chairs, and a swing set for the kiddos. The ice cream was soooo delicious! I got a blend, and there were huge pieces of candy included. Definitely worth a stop if you are nearby! read more

1/4/2026 Considering we drove out from north beach MD, I wanted to support this ice cream shop. Saw this place on social media. We first ordered lunch. One grilled cheese, my sandwich and my husband's. I ordered the rooster. It was ok. And tasted good. After lunch we ordered a child's ice cream- 1 scoop and two small over priced petite cake slices. The 20 min it took to get one scoop of ice cream is not worth the wait or drive. I wouldn't recommend coming out here. I'm sorry but waiting 20 min for one scoop is not it. My wife and I stopped in for some ice cream, and it brought back memories for me. I used to come here every week to buy milk back when it was just a vegetable stand. The last time I visited, they had just started selling ice cream and had already switched milk suppliers. They've really done a nice job transforming the place from a vegetable stand into a spot that now serves breakfast, lunch, and ice cream. The menu has a wide selection of breakfast and lunch items, but on this visit, we were here for the good stuff--the homemade ice cream. They also sell a few baked goods from other vendors as well as homemade dog treats. Ordering is done inside, and then you can head outside to sit at the picnic tables while they bring your order out. It's a great setup, especially for families, with multiple swing sets and areas for kids to play. 08/16/25 My wife ordered the Peanut Butter Overload and I went with the Salted Caramel Crunch. We each just got one scoop, which turned out to be the perfect size--just enough to enjoy without being too much. First off, let me just say that I love Mrs Moo's and will continue to support them. However, I ordered an ice cream cake from them and was so disappointed! It looked nothing like the picture depicted on their website (see pics below). When I picked the cake up and remarked that it didn't look anything like the example on the web page the staff member said that the ingredients were the same and "sorry about the decoration". So bottom line is if you are ordering an ice cream cake DO NOT expect it to look like the example on the website!! read more

UPDATE REVIEW DustyPending Dusty My son and I visited this establishment 3 months ago, I was treated so disrespectfully by the manager because of the iced coffee I ordered was pure sugar no espresso. They "fixed" the issue still was not good, but I left with the coffee any way. We decided to go to the winter celebration last night November 29. We had to pay $38.00 admission. The vendors were all packed up and gone. No hot chocolate, or cookies to decorate yo be found. Hay rides were not available. I decided to talk to Katherine the manager to see if I could get my admission money back. I explained to her that there was nothing open all the stuff was gone. She proceeds to tell me that it should all be available until 9. I tell her that it was all packed up. I told her that I have cancer and I can not walk back down there to try to figure out their process again as I had already walked down there to no avail. She to say the least was of no help. We walked away 38$ poorer and did not get any of the attractions promised for the price of entry. Needless to say 2 trips to this establishment and disappointed twice by the managers that should be there to help. Thank you Katherine, for not returning my 38$ in which I spent for nothing to see. I at least could have used that money to purchase food. Needless to say I will not go back for a third lest down. read more

4.5 stars The first time I heard about this business was at Dessert Wars 2023. There were so many treats to try, so our strategy was to find places with super long lines. Mrs. Moi's had the most buzz. They served up an amazing peanut butter chocolate treat that had us wanting more. The next time I visited was summer 2023. Their website featured a Barbie milkshake, but unfortunately, that day they were not serving it. I got a peanut butter sundae instead, and it was sublime. Today I visited with friends and we traveled an hour to Prince Frederick to get some Mrs. Moo's. I scoured their Instagram and decided on the strawberry shortcake soft serve. They have so many options of flavors, ice cream, soft serve, smoothies, and lemonade. They also have AMAZING looking cupcakes-my friend got the strawberry unicorn. Everything I have tried from here has been tasty. I recommend anything with peanut butter or the passion fruit lemknade. Mrs. Moo's Corner has SO many desserts to choose from. Lucky for my daughter and me, we had our minds set on ice cream so we weren't too side tracked. Upon arriving, we were greeted immediately and given a menu. They have a lot of tasty sounding flavors. I decided to keep it simple and get the cookies and cream. That wasn't an easy choice since I was torn between a couple other flavors. My daughter ordered the cotton candy ice cream on a cone. I also ordered a strawberry shortcake for later. After placing the order, we were instructed that someone would bring our ice cream out to us. My daughter wanted to go outside and play on the swings and talk to actual bunny outside while we waited. She had about five minutes of fun before our ice cream was ready and we were on our way. Overall, I liked the decor and variety of items available at Mrs. Moo's. The pricing is a little high, but for a homemade product, it's understandable. They sell donuts some days and I'd say they are a skip. They weren't anything special and the cereal toppings were stale. You get a number when ordering and wait outside while they bring it to you. We got our treats quickly and opted to eat in the car due to weather but they have tables outside. Overall, I'd return for the ice cream and atmosphere. read more

I absolutely adore Mrs. Moo's Corner! Even though I'm not from Maryland, it has become a must-stop destination for me every time I visit. Their milkshakes are incredible. My personal favorite is the extreme Raspberry Cheesecake milkshake. The touch of graham cracker crumbs around the cup adds a nice crunch to the already amazing shake, and the light and fluffy whipped cream on top makes it even better. What sets the milkshake apart is the slice of cheesecake on top. (that's the extreme element that takes the milkshake to another level.) Considering the generous size of the milkshake, the cheesecake, and the graham cracker rim, the price feels quite reasonable. While I must admit that I love the Raspberry Cheesecake milkshake so much. I'm certain that their other desserts are also equally outstanding. Hmm, not sure what happened here. They don't have much inside anymore and assumed that we were there for ice cream. Makes sense being that it seems to be all they have. Instead we grabbed two pieces of cake from the fridge that were extremely overpriced and so painfully sweet it was hard to hold down. Best part was when the teenage cashier slammed the tip can down on the counter right in front of me. Rude and awkward! Why would I tip her for getting my own cake from their cooler? Hmmm.. finally done with these folks. On a higher note.. they get a two star review because years ago I got the best pumpkin whoopie pie that I've ever had. Have yet to find one as good! read more

First off, yes the ice cream tastes good, BUT I was so disappointed when I saw the ingredients. I decided to buy one of their 1.5 qts for $13.99 (pretty steep but I figured it's "homemade" right?). It is all marketed as "homemade" and "farm fresh" and I feel totally duped. The ingredients are worse than most ice cream brands you find at the grocery store. Things like high fructose corn syrup and preservatives, which are ingredients that I rarely see in even the cheapest grocery store ice cream. It's my fault for not reading the label before purchasing, knowing how often companies will market products as "homemade" leading you to believe that it's a clean product I should have checked. That's on me, but for the price you pay for individual cups of ice cream and now knowing how low quality the ice cream is we definitely won't be back. Clearly you pay for the experience here, not for a quality product. Ice cream isn't healthy by any means, but it's a lot worse when it has low quality ingredients. read more

Good ice cream.. but. There is no reason you should have to wait 30+ minutes for an ice cream. This place needs serious help on how to run a business. I like the fact it's local but if you have to wait any longer than 5 minutes for an ice cream you're doing something wrong. Went there with my daughter on a Monday afternoon. Only one other group ahead of us and we got our ice cream promptly. The ice cream was delicious. She had chocolate and I had triple chocolate earthquake. We were both pleased with our choices and the servings were generous. Would love to see home made waffle cones here! The only other minor concern was that our table had evidence of previous guests, staff needs to wipe them more frequently.
