My husband had the Pescatora. It had lobster, prawns, clams, calamari, scallops, and mussels in a zesty marinara sauce served over tagliatelle pasta. The biggest issue, though, was the pasta itself -- gummy and overcooked, not al dente. My father-in-law asked for a refill on coffee, they took his cup, then came back and told him there would be a charge, which is ridiculous, but we agreed, and then they never brought the coffee. Overall, I'd only return for appetizers and drinks on the deck in the summer.

The flavor was on point and I literally could've had a big plate of these. For my starter I got the Asparagus Soup. Wasn't quite sure what to expect but I'm an asparagus fan so I figured it would be good, and it was! Loved the creamy texture and the flavor was subtle but on point. For my main I got the Steak Diane which was two 4oz filet medallions with mashed potatoes and a mushroom sauce. So freaking good. Steak was cooked to perfection and I loved the sauce. It was so flavorful without being overpowering or taking too much away from the steak itself. We all finished up with a slice of the Key Lime Pie which was so bomb! I'm normally not a huge fan of lime but I loved it. As we all know it's definitely a splurge type of restaurant but it's definitely worth it.

The ahi special and boneless short ribs were our entrees; both came nicely presented and were very tasty. When he dropped off drinks...no eye contact, no acknowledgement of our thank yous to him. Utterly embarrassing for the establishment, and for us to support it. If you are that miserable, you should not be outward facing to represent a business. Bartending is an art rooted in many aspects beyond drink making, especially if you are representing a business in service. No offers of drinks with empty drink glasses after rounds 1 and 2. No acknowledgement of empty dishes with wishes of subsequent courses that we were interested in. Yikes, this was bad.

The Greenhouse Bloody Mary was lighter and fresher than a typical Bloody, made with an in-house clarified celery juice base that gave it a really bright flavor. We also tried the Rhubarb Sunrise with rhubarb purée and vodka, simple, refreshing, and super easy to drink. We started with the crab cocktail: chilled crab leg meat over ice with lemon and cocktail sauce. Really fresh and simple in the best way. The salad ended up being one of our favorite things we ordered. Fresh greens, snap peas, pistachios, feta, mint, dill, and a grilled lemon vinaigrette. Super refreshing and kind of addictive. The server did a great job with the timing of the food which is always appreciated, so you don't feel rushed. We split the pork belly benedict and it was excellent, rich smoky pork belly, perfectly poached eggs, and a really solid hollandaise. The potatoes were crispy and nicely seasoned too. The French toast was ridiculously good. Thick-cut with a crunchy caramelized outside and soft custardy center, topped with strawberry-rhubarb and fresh whipped cream. Sweet but not too heavy because the rhubarb balanced everything out. By the time 11:00 rolled around the restaurant started to fill up, if you want to come when they open at 10 you could probably get in without a reservation or sit at the bar. The outdoor patio was also open and looked nice. Finished with a michelada made with pilsner, vodka, Bloody Mary mix, and a shrimp garnish. Awesome food and cocktails like always from Oxbow. The hostess was accommodating as we wanted a particular server (Melanie). Got seated right on time and Melanie was right there to greet us and get us started with drinks. This is an amazing server as she make the whole experience so much better. The appetizers were great, BBQ Shrimp and Calamari from what I understand from our friends it was very good. The main dishes, Seafood Fettuccine, Scallops, Fish and Chips, and steak were all cooked to perfection. This was a relaxing meal in a casual atmosphere with amazing service.
