Clam chowder
Kathryn Y.

Beautiful restaurant. Super friendly service and yummy food. Made an order to go for the brewery next door. I had two mahi mahi tacos. Served on a flour tortilla with a delicious white sauce. A piece of grilled Mahi mahi and a side of coleslaw. The chowder super perfect! Just enough buttery flavor with clams, potatoes and bacon. Definitely a winner! We had to ask permission to take our order to go but that's ok. Super friendly staff and a couple shots of Patron made waiting easy. Enjoy your life! Eat good food! SYOY!

A nice view from my table.

Your peanut butter pieis the best I've had anywhere in the world, including France. Shawna is always a joy to havre as our server and takes such great care of us. She epitomizes great customer service and I'm always so happy when she's here and available to be our waiter. The calamari, salmon dip, Ceasar salad, and peach cider is spectacular. The food is served fresh and hot. I can't say enough great things about Boathouse 19. Thank you always for consistently great food and service.

We got take out from here to eat next door at the taproom (they allow outside food), and really enjoyed our dishes. Eventually, we moved the group back to Boathouse 19 at a table for more late night apps and drinks to end the night as the sunset by the waterfall was gorgeous and their outdoor seating is right by the docks. Jason was our server and he was so funny and hospitable despite it being the end of his shift and almost time to close the restaurant. Very great server! Made our night. I will say the food was delicious but the "big plate" sections of the menu were not as big portion size as I thought by the term "big plate" haha. But great seafood nonetheless!

Beer was flat

Came here over the weekend with my family around 230pm, the restaurant was kinda empty which was surprising but we had a table with a great view of the Narrows bridge. We ordered 2 IPAs and 1 lager, both were flat which was a real let down. My son had the kids chicken tender meal, it was surprisingly small. I had a cup of chowder and 2 piece cod. On the menu it stated the cod was "award winning"...which award idk but ive definitely had better for half the price. Over all for the price, I expected larger portions and more flavor. The flat beer was forshadowing and I should've known! TLDR: over priced, flat beer, disappointing with nice water views, go to Ivars, Fish House Cafe, The Fish Peddler, Paya Thai Fish and Chips so many other options.

This is a perfect spot to eat right on the water. The location was remote with excellent views and service. Everybody working there greeted us on arrival and when leaving. The food was amazing as well.

Middle tier restaurant with an excellent bar set-up. The happy hour selection from food to drinks is enticing. Great food, large portions and reasonable prices. The calamari mixed with onion straws and jalapeños was fantastic. The clam chowder is a standard and worth a try. I only stopped in gor happy hour so food reviews next time. Parking near the door is scarce but plenty available if your willing to walk.

We got seated right by the window and it was gorgeous between all the rough weather lately. Our server (Kathryn) was a gem! She was so kind, attentive, and informative. She made the visit a 5 star visit for sure. We love their fried bread and butter pickles. The only place we've found that doesn't do the standard dill pickle. This was a great visit for an early dinner/snack stop.

Do they take reservations?

I'm not sure when we went we were able to get seated right away.

Is it typically crowded? I cannot see how I can make a reservation for a Saturday night.

Unless something has changed, they do not accept reservations. It can be crowded during "typical" meal times--the wait for an outdoor table can be pretty bad. I would try to go to an early dinner, be willing to sit indoors or outdoors, and/or just… Read more

Server was attentive, very friendly, and knowledgeable. My wife enjoyed a frost cosmo. We then started with roasted calamari (which was quite flavorful, although the meat was a bit tough) and herbed focaccia (wonderful for dipping the calamari sauce). The ahi special and boneless short ribs were our entrees; both came nicely presented and were very tasty. Both pretty full, we ended up with a bourbon chocolate cake and fruit hand pie to go, which were both delicious. The restaurant is not large, and filled up while we were there, making it somewhat noisy, but not bad. It is a nicely appointed, appealing place, with a great team making it all happen. My brother was a chef du cuisine, not a cook. He taught me decades ago how to make a dining experience worthy of people's spending. This was not it. The food was amazing but left the experience me feeling as if I wasted my money. The grumpiness of the individual behind the bar where we sat and ate was showmanship beyond unprofessionalism. When he dropped off drinks...no eye contact, no acknowledgement of our thank yous to him. Utterly embarrassing for the establishment, and for us to support it. If you are that miserable, you should not be outward facing to represent a business. Bartending is an art rooted in many aspects beyond drink making, especially if you are representing a business in service. No offers of drinks with empty drink glasses after rounds 1 and 2. No acknowledgement of empty dishes with wishes of subsequent courses that we were interested in. Yikes, this was bad.

Cooper's hosted one of our Porsche Club breakfast social events, and from start to finish this one was a 10. The food was on point throughout, and considering the size of our group, that's borderline remarkable. Breakfast at Cooper's is flavorful and excellent! Everyone came away impressed, which if you've ever tried to please a table full of hungry car enthusiasts, you know is not a given. Andrea led the service, and she was outstanding. This woman knows how to manage a large, hungry group! To perform this with that kind of calm efficiency is a real skill! The whole team reflected the same energy. They were all attentive, warm, and clearly proud of the place they work in. I can't say enough about the people here. The thoughtful touch that really stood out: Porsche-themed mimosas and breakfast spirits prepared specially for our event. That kind of detail is something a great hospitality team delivers. It set the tone for the whole morning. The space itself is immaculate and the decor is genuinely cool. Those of us who hadn't dined there before were genuinely impressed. Cleanliness here is a point of obvious pride. All in all, Cooper's is a destination for casual quality. Magnificent experience, start to finish, and I can't wait to return!

French onion soup was on point. Ambience was quiet and comfortable. We seated ourself and the waitress was on the spot - she kept up with us the whole time, was very helpful and friendly. On our most recent visit we tried the nachos, and they were honestly the best nachos I've ever had. The cheese sauce is amazing- not some gross canned stuff. Dirty Oscar's Annex - Disappointing Experience on 6th Ave…read more We came in as a group of seven, and unfortunately the experience went downhill quickly. First, the service was poor and disorganized. One of my friends arrived early and ordered her drink, but it didn't arrive until after I had already received mine -- even after she asked twice. We also had to wait far too long for basic things like napkins and forks because we weren't given enough for everyone. The most frustrating part, however, was the automatic gratuity. At no point were we informed -- verbally or on the menu -- that parties of 6 or more are charged an automatic 20% gratuity. We only discovered it by carefully reviewing our checks. And to make matters worse, the so-called "20%" was not actually 20%. It came out to 24.1%. When we questioned it, the person who said she was the manager claimed "the computer does it automatically." We are a table full of teachers -- and the math was definitely not mathing. We understand and respect gratuity for large parties, especially when the service is great or when it's clearly communicated. But charging more than the stated percentage crosses from poor service into a billing integrity issue. To add to the frustration, there is also a credit card processing fee, which again was not clearly disclosed on the menu and only appeared at the bottom of the receipt. This absolutely should be visibly posted before ordering. They did offer to refund some of the charges, but we declined because it would have taken additional time and we had an event to get to -- and more importantly, it doesn't resolve the core issue of lack of transparency. She also gave each of us a $10 gift card, but again, that doesn't resolve the issue. And honestly, what good is a gift card if we don't plan on returning because of such an awful experience? Overall, this was a very disappointing visit, and not one we would recommend based on service and transparency alone.

My first time at West 122 as I had been wanting to try this for months. Here's the positives... Love the brick and mortar ambiance inside. It just had an overall good community vibe. Presentation of food was beautiful. What else we experienced... My friend ordered a Sprite and I ordered a cocktail. She was served a lemonade and my drink was pretty sour so I ordered some simple syrup. The Sprite came but it took 20 minutes to get my simple syrup. By that time I was sort of over having a cocktail. Honestly, the venue was not full and all I wanted was some simple syrup in a shot glass. We ordered the burrata, caesar salad and the special with the octopus tentacles, asparagus, peppers and capers over polenta. The caesar salad on the menu lists "red gem lettuce tossed in house-made caesar dressing, topped with bread crumbs and shaved parmigiano reggiano. While I liked the idea of not having croutons as they're sometimes difficult to maneuver with a biteful of salad, there must have been a quarter cup of bread crumbs over the top, so much so that you couldn't even see what was underneath. Next, the menu describes the burrata as "creamy burrata with pea vines, roasted peas, pickled asparagus, and artichoke." When it arrived, we were truly wondering if we had ordered the right thing. Only until we moved the sea of greens did we see the burrata. Nowhere on the menu did it mention that we were actually ordering a salad with burrata underneath. Very unfortunate and misleading because my friend ordered the Caesar for dinner and didn't know she was actually getting a second salad. In addition, we ordered the baguette with butter/oil and what came to us for $11 or some rather non descript rolls. The octopus special was the star of the show. The colors, flavors, char on the octopus...everything except that it was surrounded by a fair amount of paprika oil, so much so that I had to work around it in order to not give my stomach a run for my money later in the evening. A dish I wanted to finish but just couldn't because of that issue. In addition to that, refills of water were non-existent and it took close to 50 minutes to get our dinner. Also, our waitperson was very pleasant but seemed rather overwhelmed. Even after waiting 15 minutes for the simple syrup, when she finally did bring it, she looked surprised that I no longer wanted it. Yes, she took it off the bill, but I would have much rather enjoyed one of the specialties of the house. So many mishaps that didn't need to occur. Truly disappointed that our evening went that way.

We came for brunch and it was busy but the wait was not bad at all. The both of us ordered the same items on the menu from both the drinks, the main and dessert - a sangria, Shakshuka with lamb, and beignets. We also brought our daughters with us. They ordered a cheeseburger with a side of caesar salad and a mac n cheese dish from the kids menu. Our orders were delicious, although I was expecting the shakshuka dish to be heftier. For the price - $17. xx with an additional $4 to add lamb - it was a little disappointing, to be honest, especially since it was lacking in the lamb department. I was still hungry but thankfully I had my 4 year old's leftover cheeseburger and salad to fill me right up. As for the beignets, it was good. I don't have anything to compare it to since I don't know what an actual beignet tastes like. Would I return? Sure.
