WARNING!!!!!! HORIBLE EXPERIECE dealing with MS Motors!!! I bought a car from them that they said had zero issues with and was in perfect mechanical condition! Before the sale was made, Manny the sales manager answered my calls and text messages but once the sale was done and they got there money the communication was gone! I had the car shipped to my house and first time starting it I knew something was wrong! The car was shaking and misfiring with check engine lights and wrenchblights on the dash and I couldn't even drive my new car!! The car turned out to have major engine problems and I had to have the engine rebuilt which not only was my new car in the shop for several months not being able to enjoy my new car but I had to pay outta my own pocket several thousands of dollars for the repair. When I got a hold of Manny and told him my situation he said that he would make it right and help out with the costs of the repairs. When it came time to ask him about sending some $$ he just ignored all my text messages and calls like he blocked me. Went to see a car that was absolutely filthy there is no information that was stating that the windshield was cracked majorly. Dealership refuses to fix their product . And says that the new owner would have to have it repaired with their insurance . Which in turn would have another strike on the VIN number . If you ever want to sell it again . My overall communication experience with MS Motors was excellent but lack of honesty from their side. I called about a 2015 Nissan GTR that I'm interested in purchasing. I mentioned to Tariq that I'll be coming from California to pick up the car and drive it back. He ensured me that the car is ready for the trip and i won't run into any problems. I specifically ask about the condition on the rotor, brake and tires and per our convo screenshot, Tariq ensured me that its all good. He seems like a decent honest guy right? Then I submitted my credit application and getting ready to purchase the car but I told him I would need a Pre-Purchase Inspection first. He said fine but I would need to place a deposit, which I did. Im glad I did the PPI. The third party independent report shows all rotors and brakes need to be replaced and the rear tires are completely bald. Tariq even said the paint condition is 9/10 and in his words "used car can never be 10/10, so i would give this car a 9/10". But when are you going to mention the scuff marks on the fender, multiple rock chip on front bumper and curb rash on the wheel? On top of that, the car was very low on oil at the time of inspection. At the end of the day he had the audacity to ask me if I am backing out of the deal when they failed to provide what they promised. I was skeptical about all the positive reviews on Google and Yelp but i gave them the benefit of the doubt. To anyone thats looking to purchase any cars from them, pls do a PPI first. read more

Crazy, Liars and rude. I called about a car but noticed many words on the website were spelled wrong and told the guy. He yelled at me calling me racist and told me English was his second language. WHAT?? English is my second language also. What is your problem, who treats people like this? Our second home in in Portland, we live part time there and part time in Texas. We have never been to the store, the man on the phone had no accent. How would we know if they were people from Mars or wherever? They were rude and yelled at me. Not great customer service. Thanks to Max I have literally experienced a joyful Truck buying experience. My whole life I have dealt with big box car dealers not anymore. My wife and I picked a vehicle filled out the application done. Max even did me a favor by getting me out of my rental to save me money. I have had a nightmare dealing with Geico and trucks are more now then when I purchased my Silverado back in 2016. Looking at the offer from my insurance company was a slap in the face. I'd like to preface this review by saying that this was my first time buying a car and I was very excited, but my experience with MS Motors was nothing short of disappointing and frustrating. I am a 19 year old, full time college student living off of minimum wage and the car was at the top of my price range. The salesman that I interacted with (Tariq) seemed very genuine at first. He promised that he would fix any problems I ran into in the first 3 to 4 weeks of buying it. He promised that their dealership prided themselves on being "genuine and authentic." Their website states that they replace tires once they are below 40%. The front tires on the car were at 20% but they had not replace them and refused to. The car wouldn't didn't start when I first started the car, but he said that it was just a dead battery. He said that they would of course replace it if it became a problem. There was also an issue with the gas cap that needed to be replaced, but they brushed it off and said that it would go away. He waited until the last minute to tell me that there was only one key, which I would have to replace with my own money. As soon as I got home from buying the car, I tried to drive it again and it wouldn't start. I called Tariq and was greeted with a rude response. He completely brushed me off and said it just needed a new battery and refused to admit that he had said he would replace it. I had to purchase and replace the almost $200 battery by myself. I came back to MS Motors with my mother because I could tell they weren't taking me seriously. Tariq again refused to admit that he said they would replace the battery, so his boss overrode him and said "$200-300 isn't a big deal." I was still stuck with having to replace the gas cap, though. After all this, I went to the DMV and waited 45 mins to claim the title until I was informed that I was lacking the correct form, which the dealership should have sent me. Upon calling the dealership, the salesman gaslit me and told me that he had sent the form, and then told me that I didn't need it in the state of Oregon (which it seems like the DMV employee would know best). This meant I had to wait 5 more days to put the car under my name. In conclusion, I felt like I went through hell and back with this dealership. I felt lied to and disrespected after the promises they had made. I would not recommend doing business with this dealership. read more

In one word to describe my experience I would say frustrating. They posted my dream car for sale and I messaged them within 30 minutes of it being listed. It was stated in the ad that the timing chain and water pump were replaced but after talking to my salesperson I found out that they had not been done and that the dealership had plans to do them. I am a out of state buyer so I was a little frustrated about the false claims in the listing but I did not mind waiting to have the work done. So the next day I put a $1000 deposit on the car so it would be held for me while they did the timing chains. ( I would've paid the full amount but they would not let me.) After a weekend of waiting I called and asked how it was coming along, at this point they informed me they had no title for it so they would not be doing any work to tell they got one. Again I was a little frustrated but I was still willing to wait. Then 2 hours later I was told it was a divorced couple's car and that they would not be receiving the title so they would have to return the car. I was extremely disappointed but realized it was out of their control. Until today when the new owner of the car reached out to me. He told me they sold it to him for what I was paying and that he even bought it after I put my deposit down. extremely dishonest I would not trust them to do business with ever again. Bought the car under the impression it was working well. Turned out to be the total piece of crap. Drove the car 100 miles then ended up having to spend $3k at an Indy dealer working on the engine. Next the trans is supposed to go. Total piece of crap and ms motors knew it. They replaced the belt, which was nice... except they didn't put it on correctly. They told me the squeak was normal for the car except it turned out to be another $800 fix. Don't trust these guys. They seem really nice, but total crooks. Don't make the mistake I and many others made UPDATE: took the car to DEQ, it failed. In Oregon, the dealer is required to ensure the car passes DEQ before sold. I want to say first that the staff are friendly, I purchased a car that I was told there were no chips, wheel scrapes , flawless. I called them 3 times to confirm this before I bought the car relying on the sales person, I wont mention names but it took me 2 months to get up there to pick up my car, finding a scraped wheel though they gave me 60.00 , by the time I drove the car home to Arizona the front of the cars bumper paint was flaking off, I took it to a couple body shops to get estimates , they could take there thumb nail and peel the paint off the bumpers original paint. BEWARE, do not buy anything from them unless you go look first. NOTE; I haven't spoken to Manny yet though I hope he steps up and helps with the bill. I will post an update. read more

So, this is a review since we've had our car for a short time. The car ended up having to have a full engine rebuild. MS Motors did not offer to Comp anything. Not even a car detail or anything to show that they were sorry that the car needed a full rebuild after less than six months of owning it. I even had the detailed on-site car inspection from an outside inspector not affiliated with the dealership. Very disappointed. I will not be buying another car from MS Motors. I understand that buying a car with higher mileage as is, is a risk. And, I was not expecting to be able to return the car for a refund. That would be ridiculous. But, I do think that a good dealership would comp you something for the inconvenience and for just generally feeling bad about what happened. That is how I would run a business.
