Worst place ever. Bought a car that was $2000 more then the high price on Kelly blue book. I have good credit and somehow they forgot to mention my interest rate is 10.45% Meaning I pay almost $3000 in interest, knew I was a first time car buyer and completely screwed and took advantage of me. A few days after I bought the car, the engine started shaking, breaks smoking, I brought it back, Danny claimed he just got the car and didn't have it looked over first. They gave me the shittiest car on the lot as a loaner car, with the gas light on, broken stereo, and bad struts. 4 days later called me to inform me, my car is ready to be picked up and the breaks will need to be replaced soon, and they did a transmission tune up. read more

Avoid this Business, if at all POSSIBLE! My wife and I bought a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee from this guy. We were all about giving the "little guy" our business. Unfortunately, we will never make that mistake, again. He [the Dealership owner] ASSURED us that his "mechanic" checked it from top-to-bottom, and "certified it" as "just fine." And yet, by the apparent owner's own admission, "the 'mechanic' barely speaks English." So I could not help but wonder, "how would he know if the vehicle is in such good shape, if the 'mechanic' can barely speak English? But I DID take the owner at his "word." This was a MISTAKE. Now don't get me wrong; this "businessman" has done this before. I had barely met this guy... and the next thing I new... I bought a Jeep! This dude was slicker than Interstate 90 in late December! Now with that being said, the hood compartment struts were shot. Earlier in our conversation, he had agreed to replace them. When the "deal" was agreed-upon with the customary handshake, we had reminded him about the hood compartment struts. Again, by his own admission, he stated that he was "hoping that we had forgotten about that!" That remark left me slightly alarmed. NOW... Let us address the "Finance Guy," nicknamed "Doc." We could not help but notice that "Doc" received a convenient telephone call (as we were filling-out the associated paperwork,) regarding his "church attendance," over the next week. He actually went out of his way to mention "church," on the telephone, with whoever was supposedly speaking to him. It was as if such a comment was orchestrated for our benefit. Although we did not "buy it" for a second, we remained hopeful toward the relative 'honesty' of the deal. Admittedly, we were trying to keep an open mind. And, unfortunately... We were mistaken. THEN... "Doc" tried to sell us "maintenance insurance," which we considered and researched well! As it turned-out, the "maintenance insurance" he offered (and recommended) was ONLY good for pre-selected "service centers," all of which were only in the Greater Portland Metropolitan Area, and none of which were "Jeep specialists." Yet, the cost of such plans were in excess of $1500.00. So if we broke-down in Missoula, MT... we would be "up the Clark Fork without a paddle!" It was THREE DAYS (or less) after we drove the Jeep from his lot, that we found a horrendous, binding/grinding/groaning sound, emitting from the rear end. We then contacted the Dealership. He [the Dealership owner,] again reiterated that his "mechanic" "certified" our Jeep as "totally fine." Soon thereafter, we learned from Jeep, that the ENTIRE REAR END... AXLE AND DIFFERENTIAL, needs to be COMPLETELY REPLACED! Jeep further commented that the differential fluid had never been properly serviced, nor had the appropriate, MOPAR friction modifier been added to the limited-slip differential. How can it be that the illustrious dealership "mechanic" missed this detail? Moreover, how could such a competent "mechanic" have missed the binding/grinding/groaning noise emitting from the rear end... and vibrating within the cabin? Yes, we test-drove it. But the test-drive was conveniently too short to have noticed the issue. We wasted no time contacting the Dealer with our concerns. He just told us that 'there was nothing he could do.' So our ultimate recommendation is, AVOID this Dealership. Admittedly, we made a mistake. We will NOT make it again. Always trust your GUT! I'm very disappointed in Dan and Danny I've been a loyal customer to these guys for over 7 years, 3 cars (No 4). I got a 2007 Mercury from them very nice inside and out, leather seats, Very clean engine, 110,000 miles, no noise when it ran. Took on a road trip 3 weeks later, the cars stops on the middle of the freeway. Take it to a shop spend 150 for a reading ( they said they cleaned up real good, but a bad engine). Only thing Danny can say is I know a good Mechanic, (a loyal customer). WOw. Like I'm going to trust your mechanic. read more

We went there for a specific car we saw online just to compare one last car to the one we were going to buy at another lot. I really appreciated Dan's no pressure approach, and his patience and understanding with my husband during "negotiations". We ended up with a car I love and they gave us a deal so we could take care of the areas of the car we had concerns with (when compared to our other top car choice from a different lot). A little bummed that we didn't see the tail light was out until I followed behind my husband on the drive home (it was really bright outside when we were inspecting). Dan and Danny are great folks who helped me out in a rough position. My car was stolen and insurance totaled it out when it was recovered. The interior was pretty bad, but the meth heads who stole it hadn't messed with anything under the hood. This thing needs a lot of cosmetic work for Eastport Auto to be able to turn a profit on it but Dan worked with me and agreed to give me trade in value anyway since I was able to provide three years worth of work orders and receipts for things I had upgraded. He was very patient and understanding with me while I had to say goodbye to the car I had been working on in three years worth of spare time. They have some work ahead of them but I trust them to fix my old car up right and find her a good home. He got me into a truck I had been wanting for a while and worked with his lenders to get me an absolutely killer interest rate and even got me to agree to to warranty they provide. Best used warranty options I've seen so far after four used car purchases! I even got a call the next day after buying saying they found a better rate for me to save me a couple of bucks on my monthly payments. What more can you ask for? I'm very happy with my truck! Long story short, helpful knowledgeable staff who will work with you and whatever situation you bring to them. Decent selection of vehicles that is always being updated. Yet another reason why people avoid 82nd Ave. We saw the vehicle we were interested in listed online, we called about it, the Salesman we talked to and dealt with in person (Scott) was great, HOWEVER, when 2 days later I called to report two safety issues with a sliding door and the defrost failing to work, I spoke with the Owner (not his son, his son is actually professional, but does not make the decisions) and the big boss hemmed and hawed around about "we sell as is" and I said no way, these are safety issues. He said "maybe you don't know what you are talking about" ans I should have my husband call him and talk about it man to man. My husband called him from work and whatever was said the dealer eventually said okay I'll send you down to get these repaired at our shop. I left my van there for 3 days. I called on the 3rd day to get a status update and they said they "could not find the problem". When I asked them what they had checked, they said "you didnt give us enough time". I said what do you mean? Either you have time to figure out you couldn't fix it, or you did not have time to look. And the guy says you can just come get your van, we don't have time to look at it and we don't know what's wrong with it. So I called the owner of the dealership again, and I said look, are you going to take care of this or not? And he said I'm not the owner anymore and the new owner is under no obligation. read more

Bought a 2005 Jeep Liberty from these people and they told us that they had the car looked over from top to bottom. They most definitely did not. Three days after driving it the ball joint in the front right corner went out and broke. Had to replace both of them and get new deals through out the windows and detailed. They went through the truck and found a few problems I didn't even know the truck had. After more time we agreed on a price. It was a little below Fair KBB value but agreed and signed the paperwork.
