We went looking for a specific older car; Autobon had the same year, make and model with slightly lower mileage than our previous car. Emil helped us, showed us a few cars, and we settled on this particular car after driving it. The air conditioning seemed weak and the engine had a rattle. Emil assured us both were fine, he gave us a 3 month warranty and agreed to fix some minor body damage. As we suspected, we later found the air conditioner needed a new condenser, and we later found the rattle to be a bad timing chain that had shredded some engine bolts. With a used car, I don't expect perfection, so I was ok with replacing the air condenser and not bothering Emil with that. A few days later, we heard a relative horror story from our mechanic about the possibility of needing a new engine due to the damage the timing chain had caused, so we phoned Emil. He insisted we bring the car back for repair at his shop, Discount Auto Repair, or even a refund. We took it back, he changed out the timing chain, and changed the oil. It's now been 3 months and after another oil change and once over from a mechanic, we are confident in this very nice vehicle. I had an issue with one of my wheel well splash guards coming loose, and they let me know the best time to come in (same day!) and they took care of it very quickly. I got a more than fair deal and in fact, the owner went out if his way to mail me a part he had ordered for the car before I bought it. His dad immediately replied "yes." Randy then told me that they would take 13,000 but today only. I heard his dad say no such thing about "today only." 6/20/2019 -- I was looking for a car to replace the car i had for 10yrs and started having a lot of problems with . I decided on an FX35 infiniti , checked out different car sites and Craigslist ,AutoBon Auto Sales had two.I went and looked at them , the Son's and the Dad are nice ,we left for a week when we came back went and looked at both for an hour no one hovering over me,I decided on the one, paid cash the dad said you won't get sc - - - ed here ,did the paper work and left with the car .-- 59 miles later the car shut off and started running bad immediate called the dad he asked if it had gas in it which made me chuckle he said bring it in ,two hours later it was fixed.Know-- 360 miles later it will crank but wont start I called the car dealer dad was suppose to come over ,no show I called later no answer. No call from them the next day I figured I just bite the bullet and deal with it myself .The four used car dealers we can remember we bought from we have had some sort of problems. We purchased a car to move cross country. After 15 days we were driving it (and 200 miles), I turned on the car in the morning and the gas tank was empty, despite filling it the night before; in addition, there was a check engine light. This happened right on the day we needed to move our stuff to a uhaul location and leave for a cross-country move. We called Autobon Auto Sales and asked to see our car since they gave us 90 days to bring the car to them for any issue for free. The owner only yelled at us, kept saying that it was not an issue on their side, and tried to convince me that someone had stolen our gas. After yelling, not answering the phone, and insisting that someone had stolen our gas and damaged the car, he finally offered to see the car, but also stated: "bring in it, and I'll show you what happened. I'll show you someone took your gas and then we will not repair it". At that point, I didn't trust them and took the car to a repair place. We had to change the fuel pump and the fuel sensor, and get a full inspection done, to make sure that nothing else big would come up. Cost over $1000 and we still had to take care of transmission fuel and sparks after our trip. DO NOT TRUST THIS SELLER! read more

However, the day after I purchased the vehicle, it died because of a bad battery. I told Randy I was going on a road trip and needed a working battery. So he put in a second battery that ended up dying in the middle of my road trip. The serpentine belt also broke within 3 weeks leaving me with and overheating car and no power steering. All within 3 weeks. So 2 bad batteries and a belt that was obviously not inspected. I bought my first BMW from Autobon, and I knew I was buying an aging used car (2001). The price was fair and I prepaired myself emotionally for the increased maintenance costs that go with a decision like this. When we had the torrential rains (go figure in Portland), the drain for the brake booster clogged, and a vacuum hose drew water into my engine causing catastrophic failure (look it up on the internet!). I fully expected any used car shop to tell me to pound sand - the car was used and the sale was long completed "as-is" with no warranty. Just to exhaust my options I contacted the folks at Autobon and asked if there was anything they could do to help. I still don't know why, but they had my engine changed out and work g within three days with no charge. Bewildered here but so grateful....what every used car sales should aspire to be. I bought a 2005 VW BEETLE from the owners son at this dealership. Long story short, despite a million promises, the car was jacked up. The check engine had been reset, and came back on immediately. They had done a bad weld on a catalytic converter and it had to be replaced. 1500 bucks later.... He, Randy, actually promised me the car was great, since it had been his wife's. He had me come to the shop there to have it scanned after the light came on and I wanted my money back, and he gave me the code and told me it was an O2 sensor... Well, that code actually was the catalytic converter, but i didnt find that out til I got to VW. Bottom line, They knew exactly what they were doing and refused to do anything to make it right. I have gotten the car fixed, and take it as a lesson learned. I truly believe based on how this all came about, that he knew exactly what was wrong with the car, and knew how to hide it long enough to sell it. Don't trust these people. read more

This is guy is a scam artist. On his website, he claims "Our honesty, loyalty and success with our customers is maintained with an understanding of each individual's needs during the stressful search for the right vehicle." My ASE certified mechanic and I went to look at a 2003 Toyota Camry which he claimed was in "excellent" condition. The windsheild was cracked, AC button didn't work, missing parts on the engine and a decent sized oil leak. He told me it was a "certified" car, but it was by his mechanic. My mechanic pointed out the oil leak and he refused to believe it. Enough so that he said, "if there is an oil leak, I will give you the car for free!" We showed him the leak and he ran it through his fingers and smelled it. He told my mechanic he didn't know what he was talking about and it was ANTI-FREEZE! My mechanic said, "Are you serious?
