Very rude staff member and who was not helpful at all. Have been a few times to visit the showroom for stone countertops and same rude staff member was consistently very unwelcoming and seem bothered to show us slabs of interest every time we came. Same staff member said she would only allow 2 slabs to be looked at because "they are all the same" which is completely not true, same staff lady outwardly rolled her eyes at us at one point. Stay away from this place. Options are very limited, nothing was great. We found so many more beautiful options down the road at UMI and their customer service was top notch!! read more

I was very disappointed with the lack of service from two of your phone representatives. The First young man spoke to quickly that I had to ask him to repeat himself, then he hung up on me. The second young man was rude: he kept saying go to Home Depo even though I had told him I'd already been there, and eventually he too hung up on me. Later that day, I received a call back- which I had requested, and I was told that there were no samples of the tile in any retail spaces because it was too new. At least this last person answered my question honestly and she didn't hang up on me. Your employees need to learn the meaning of customer service! read more

Will not let you in the door until you give your full name, phone number, and zip code!! Upon entering the Norwood showroom door, you are stopped from entering the showroom and guided to a table where you are asked to take a picture of their QR Code, then open their app to complete their required information via your phone. When my phone could not do this, the employee tried her own phone to register me, then when that didn't work, a second employee came to do it. I found it curious they didn't just write my name and number on a sheet of paper to be entered later, then as time went on I became uncomfortable with the fact I was giving them my personal information without having even gotten in the front door! I began asking "why do you need my personal information anyway? For Covid? I just wanted to ask you about a countertop....Why do you need to know my personal information before you even talk to me?" At this point, I decided this wasn't the business I wanted to try to work with to get a countertop for our church bathroom. I told them, never mind, remove my information, I'm leaving, and went to leave. Another woman then approached and wanted to know what my problem was - I told her I just came in to look at a countertop but didn't think it was appropriate they require my personal Information at this point - why do they need it? She stated they've always done it this way, they'll then have it if I order something - It has nothing to do with COVID. I stated that's not acceptable, I'd give it if I did order anything, not before. I asked them to remove my I formation from their system - I then left. Now they have my name and phone number. I'm glad I didn't download their app into my phone! Have NEVER been to a business that behaved this way. I've done 12 bathrooms in the last 4 years, and will purchase my granite, quartz, and tile at the many other businesses in the area that treat customers well and respect their privacy. read more

We just had such a fantastic experience at MSI with MITA! She helped us figure out size, and was efficient and thorough, and also so kind and friendly! Would highly recommend MSI and working with MITA! As an aside, MSI needs to get fans for some employees. I came several times to MSI , Norwood MA to choose stone for my kitchen renovation. From first step into building you will meet friendly professional assistants- giving directions, yellow protective helmet ( everybody in medical protective musks ). They had a large selection of Quartz (as well as other stone) to look at. Hard hats are required for safety reasons and they followed the Covid guidelines. Had Free samples and their staff, specifically Heather, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. read more

I purchased a granite countertop from Home Depot. I went to MSI this morning to pick out the slab. The granite I wanted to see has a lot of movement & color variations so viewing the slab was a must for me. A woman greeted me & helped me check in. ( I didn't mind giving my name & phone number) She brought me into the the warehouse & gave me a hard hat to wear. She then asked if I already had a color in mind. I told her yes & she looked up the color. She then told me what section it was in. This place is amazing!! The huge granite slabs are on these A-frames. I loved looking at all the slabs along the way. I found my color & it was beautiful. I went back to the showroom to get someone to tag it for me. A man then helped me but he told me the top 2 slabs were already tagged so he arranged for the slabs to be moved so I could see the next few slabs & I'm glad I did because I loved the 3rd slab even more!! It had bigger chunks of color. He gave me a copy of my granite slab selection & said they hold it for 1 week so I needed to contact fabricator on Monday. He said he also e-mailed them to let them know my selection was complete. It was a wonderful experience & I would definitely recommend MSI to everyone. read more

Called on Thursday 8/11 to inquire about availability of Caribbean Green granite. Man I spoke with said 3 slabs were in stock with no more thereafter as it was discontinued. Drove 1-1/2 hours from NH on Friday 8/12 to see in person. On arrival was told "Sorry, we none in stock!" Such bad business practices! Will never refer anyone to them! read more

Wonderful experience! First of all, it's great to see all of the slabs when you're making a decision about a countertop. Plus they also have tiles for backsplashes, so it's one stop shopping. The person who helped us couldn't have been nicer. But what we really appreciated was how careful they are to keep themselves and their customers safe. You can't even get into the parking lot without an appointment. You need to fill out a short questionnaire about your health, which you do on your phone, they take your temperature, and there's hand sanitizer available. Plus, when you're out looking at the samples, you wear a hard hat. None of the other manufacturers had anything close to this in terms of safety. A++ MSI! read more

I read some reviews that were kind of negative. I had a great experience there. The employees were friendly, helpful and pleasant. This is a warehouse where distributers get their products from and isn't a tile showroom for the public to purchase from. If you are looking for granite slabs, there are better places to go that will let you walk around their warehouse to view their inventory. At MSI, we had to sign in, have our temperatures taken, tell them what granite we wanted, and were not allowed to look around to see if there might be something else that interested us. In the middle of a conversation with the salesperson, another employee interrupted us in the middle of a sentence to talk to the salesperson as though we were not there. Wasted several hours getting there, were accompanied to the edge of the warehouse, told the 2 slabs of the granite that interested us were damaged, and left. No suggestions of what else they may have had. We were not allowed to look at around. read more

I went to MSi on Batavia street in orange on three different occasions to select Granite slabs for our kitchen. AAKASH MEHTA is a sales man who greeted us and answered all our questions and also suggested different back splash options. We went second time and again third time for our final selection and payment of the slabs. On our last visit it was almost closing time but he patiently helped us in finalizing our product and transaction and gave us a good price. I suggest everyone to ask for Aakash , he is a very friendly person and doesn't get annoyed. Will be going again for back splash and bathroom tiles. read more

MSI has a great selection of quartz, the staff was extremely helpful, told the woman which slabs I was interested in viewing and she took us right there, gave us some advise, checked availability, offered a few other names of similar stones in our price range. We never felt rushed and everything was clearly marked above each item. They have good size samples to take free of charge and a beautiful selection of wall and floor tiles. Drove 3 hours and glad we did! Didn't like color I thought I wanted when seeing it in person. They have a vast range of granite, some marbles, and some quartzite. Janine was very helpful and even had 1 slab moved into the sunlight, which usually they won't do because it's too busy. (They suggest going on a weekday if you want them to move slabs so you can see different ones from different cuts.( It's busy on a Saturday but people are attentive and polite. read more

I appreciated the Covid-19 safety measures the staff at MSI used to enter and exit the building. Each customer visiting this facility is making a big investment. The choice of material was adequate. My complaint is the lack of friendliness as I was greeted. I almost felt I was a bother to be there. I certainly understand the aggravation of dealing with the public but the staff really could benefit from professional training on customer service. I hope the leadership of this company values their staff and provides this support as all would benefit from it. read more

Agree with the person who said they wished you could give less than one star. We were helped by Tony who was arrogant beyond belief. He told us that because we had chosen a solid color we had wasted our time driving over an hour to get there. He said that they tell you to come "to make you feel better". I pointed out that some of the solid slabs do look different but he said that no, they were all the same and therefore we couldn't choose even if we wanted to. Whatever the truth, his attitude was so condescending. Ugh. read more

We had a very positive experience at MSI! The sales associates, Rachel and Jim, were extremely knowledgeable and helpful when guiding us throughout the warehouse. How do you spell Aaargh? A disappointing place... This is the second time I have been to MS"s gargantuan warehouse, which, arguably, does have a variety of (in their own words) "granite...slate... quartzele...limestone...traventine [sic]...marble...sandstone." BUT. As an industry insider confirmed "they are not too hot in the service department." I was only picking up a modest order (that I couldn't find anywhere else) and it took the salesperson an ICE AGE to help another customer while I waited. I wouldn't have minded if she'd said: "I apologize, this may take 20-30 minutes" in which case I could've happily waited off to the side. Instead, after some mysterious whispers with her colleagues about my order, she left me hanging and then, with a backwards glance as she walked away said "be with you in a minute, miss." That didn't really give me much to go on. Double aargh, as I had my own people on the clock waiting for this material. As my frustration grew, I tried to ask another person for help (two colleagues were on their computers, trying hard not to notice my existence.) Although these folks seemed unable to assist me, and were nonplussed by my attempts at cajoling them off their feet, one guy weirdly followed me into the loading area (suddenly grabbing my order form, I wasn't sure why--my original person had gone AWOL?) and making uncomfortable chitchat (how do you spell inappropriate?) The only two employees who didn't flunk Customer Service 101 were the saving angel, Jaya, who noticed my predicament, and did something about it, and Eduardo (on forkiift, who may need to consider trading up, to NASCAR). I admit, when at last Eduardo put the tiles in my car, and I later got them home, they were exactly what I needed, so all was not lost--except, momentarily, my faith in the rock (but not the Redeemer). Unless it's your last resort, though, I'd steer clear and head straight to Louis Mian (Boston), Leamar (Marlborough), or Marble and Granite, down the road. read more

The greeter person is fine but doesn't know anything. The warehouse staff barely avoids being surly and certainly doesn't treat a customer like someone of the verge of spending thousands. My husband and I went to MSI and did not know what we were looking for in granite. On our third visit we finally decided on which granite we wanted for our kitchen. We went into MSI knowing exactly what we were looking for, quartz that looked similar to marble. Brian was a huge help in selecting our chosen style. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and ready to help. I personally liked that he gave us some time to discuss alone and make our own decision, so many times sales people are on top of you. Although we did not end up using the fabricator through MSI, we had a positive experience with them. I realize that their reviews on Yelp are not the greatest, but take everything with a grain of salt and check them out for yourself. This place was great. Immediately someone came to greet me when I entered & signed me in. Then they let you look army all this beautiful granite & stone. After about 5 minutes of wandering around at my leisure, Rachelle offered to help me. I had come in with a definite choice in mind, but Rachelle suggested an alternative that I like even better. I was a little nervous reading the previous reviews before going to MS International to select my granite, but the whole experience was seamless!! I found the staff there to be courteous and helpful. I had to sign in electronically and then was given a clipboard and hardhat and I was off to browse all the beautiful pieces that are offered. As soon as I found the piece I wanted, someone from the staff scanned it, and within 2 weeks it fit perfectly on my kitchen cabinetry in Scarborough Maine. Highly recommend!! read more

Hard to imagine they could more incompetent. Visited the showroom on 5/14. Youin showed a few slabs of what we were looking for. I gave him my name and phone number and he said I would receive a call the next day. No call came, so I called them. Front desk was challenged to put a coherent sentence together. Again I left my name and number and was told a call would be coming. Two days later, my decorator called. After explaining they have not returned my calls she asked if they were going to call me back. Michelle at the front desk said no. Mind boggling how poor customer service was read more

We bought a new home last April. After living it in for awhile, we decided that we wanted to upgrade the island granite to a larger size, so we could put stools around it and make it the centerpiece of our kitchen/living room. We knew what we wanted so we thought we could easily just walk into a granite place and choose the slab. The staff at MS international make it extremely easy! I was escorted to the large showroom and directly to the granite we were looking for. The grain on the pieces on the floor were just a little off for my liking but the gentleman assisting me made no fuss and quickly called for other pieces to be brought out. I waited no time at all and was able to choose the perfect piece for our space. Thank you MS International for your great customer service! Since my experience was so great last time I skipped the others and went to MSI for my bathroom remodels! I have 1.5 baths and did them both over. Customer service was excellent and I got exactly what I wanted (used the visualiser app) and at a great price too! The end result? Even better than it looked in the visualiser application ... Which I recommend using .... It opens you up to materials you might not think go together but work out to perfectly compliment each other.... Which was my experience! read more

The staff and help was amazing aside from the selection of granite. There was a small issue with the slab of granite originally set aside but it was easily rectified. The staff was very accommodating and more than willing to move and sift through slabs of granite to find the perfect one. If you want to feel welcomed upon initial arrival and then treated like another boring customer then this is the place for you. Zero interest in listening or suggestions for a particular need. Warehouse help must be grossly underpaid as they all look miserable to be there. Take youself down the street to Marble and Granite INC. at 270 University Ave. where you will be treated like the valued customer you are. Marley is awesome and everyone has a cheerul attitude. If there was an option to choose "0" stars, I'd use it. I visited this warehouse 4-5 times and was made to feel an inconvenience every time by every person in the place. We were having a large house built and I needed granite for a large kitchen, three bathrooms and a laundry room, and I'd been better treated when buying a pair of shoes. Do not trust these people. I knew Costa Esmerelda is sourced from Iran, but they told me it was from Brazil. Do yourself a favor and deal with a professional and courteous distributor - there are plenty of them out there, but MS International is not one of them. read more
