Looking for countertop for my kitchen remodel, I had been to four other companies before learning about MSI. I was impressed by the friendly customer service and the layout of the products. MSI sells all types of flooring; I was looking for Quartzite. I found a beautiful pattern and was helped immensely by Daniel, Chuy, and Karina. Daniel educated me about countertops from purchase through installation and arranged for Chuy to move several slabs so that I could see the patterns. Chuy handled the machinery perfectly. Karina assisted in matching colors in the slab to colors I was selecting for cabinetry. Each was personable and professional and went out of their ways to answer all of my questions and provide all the information they could to make my selection and purchase a smooth process. Do not buy from here!!! I spent extra money to buy quartzite from here. It shows water stains after 1 shower. The quartzite did not come sealed, they never said it had to be sealed. After it immediately showed water stains, I spent money to have it professionally sealed. That didn't work. I paid for another recommended sealer by Msi to come out and re-seal it. It was worse. The stone cannot be quartzite and is defective. They refuse to refund me. I spent thousand of dollars for the stone, thousand of dollars for the sealing and re-sealing and now I have to completely re-do my bathroom. They do not stand up to the quality of their product. I looked at slabs from other quartz companies and MSI had the most beautiful and realistic looking ones. They also have several natural stone, and porcelain countertop selections as well as flooring and wall tiles. Their slabs are reasonably priced compared to the competition. I like that they also sell prefab pieces for some of their styles so you don't have to buy more than you need for a smaller project. You can visit the showroom without an appointment and they give you samples you can take home to coordinate with other materials in your home. read more

They have a nice indoor area with beautiful stone where the slabs are positioned so you can see the whole slab instead of storing the slabs like books on a shelf as some sites do. They're not 5-star, I would say 4 to 4.5. Some slabs were turned around facing backwards and others didn't have a sign so buyers don't know if it's quartzite or granite, etc. and the name is unknown. After going to great lengths to pick the perfect slab for our kitchen, massive negligence took place on the part of MSI. The stone we put on hold was not what was eventually sold to our fabricator. How was he to know having provided them the exact skew? To our surprise when we walked in to see our new kitchen, the color and look of the counters was not what we expected. Crushed! Upon contacting MSI they informed us our held slabs had been sold to another company AFTER the date our fabricator picked up ours. Literally how??? Why did an employee provide a different stone when they were sitting in the showroom at the time of pickup? A relationship with a longtime customer that took precedence? Overall, this cost us over 35k for corrections, construction delays and immense hassle and stress. Further MSI refuses to take accountability which means we will be hiring a lawyer and filing a claim in order to recoup the costs. read more

MSI is home to hundreds of different interior designs to make your dream home become a reality. We were searching for the perfect island alan and quartz countertop. Unfortunately the island top we wanted was out of stock, so we settled elsewhere for that but we chose our kitchen countertops from here. The one we wanted was available at the Orange County warehouse and it was successfully shipped to the store and picked up by our contractor in the next few business days. The translation was done over the phone and the invoice was sent via email. For those wanting to visit: make sure you make an appointment before coming to the showroom. Had the pleasure of meeting Jose at MSI. He was very knowledgeable and showed us the different slabs available. Very impressed by their selection of quartzite and marble. The only negative is that if you show up on a Saturday, you got to go early, because you can't see availability of other slabs when some of their workers in the warehouse who can bring out the prefab slabs go home before the place closes. Everyone do yourself a huge favor and stay away from any msi products. They have major issues in manufacturin. I just recently went through 30k of large format tile. Every single tile was bad due to thermal contractio. The tile shatters when cut. There were also deformities on tile finish. We went through 4 different lots all the same. This tile is being manufactured in India with zero quality control. MSI will not compensate me in anyway! They need to be held accountable. I went on a public tile forum and you would not believe how many complaints there are on this very issue. read more

You need an appointment to visit the showroom during the pandemic. When you arrive, there's a huge building with plenty of parking. They let you scan or take a picture of their check in questions, then they take your temperature. We were looking for quartz, so the guy showed us where it was on the wall, and showed us the slabs in the back warehouse. We saw different options, but we didn't get anything. They had lots of tile, stones, Stone veneers, etc. A nice one stop store. I believe they only sell to contractors and retail stores. read more

As an interior design firm, we could not be any more disappointed with MSI and we could never recommend this company to clients or colleagues. Recently, after our client made a slab purchase, paid in full, we were informed several days later that the slabs were sold to another MSI customer. After complaining to management and the most unhelpful sales rep (Andrew) at their Sun Valley location, we were told that this is their policy. Basically, they only value their clients who are making larger purchases, so our client's slabs were sold to them. Because of this, as well as past poor and unprofessional service, I could never recommend this company and urge potential customers to shop elsewhere. read more
