If you love miniature golf, you have to play this course! Of all of the putt putt courses I've played, this is my very favorite one! The holes are creative and fun, and the surprise at the end is the best part! It's very affordable for the entire family to play and they offer late hours. I have been to this course several times in the past 10 years and always had a great time and felt it was worth every penny. However to my disappointment the prices seemed to have increased significantly. The sign read $12 for each adult (there were two people in my party). If I remember correctly it was around $6 per adult the last time I went. So that's a total of $24 for mini golf? That near the cost of a movie and refreshments. Plus the coupon that's in all the local coupon books saves you a $1 for each person. However another sign read no coupons could be used after 6pm. I turned around and walked out. I can do a lot more fun things for $24 in my opinion. read more

Better of the 3 putt putt that we went too. No par on the card or path, so really dont know if we did good or not. Frustrating that a party of 8 was ahead of us.. the broke into 2 groups of 4- but waited for each other. It held up 3 groups behind us.. we felt rushed. There should be a rule, to let smaller groups play through if you have a large group. We only had 3 hours to spare and this took over 2. There was a shaved ice half way into the course. Some holes shaded or inside, it was cooler and higher than anywhere else we went! read more

This is certainly one of most extravagant miniature golf courses you'll ever find. Some of it seems to be a little bit under disrepair however, the environment next to the ocean certainly is not easy to keep anything up to tiptop shape. The people are great here. I would highly recommend this if you have kids under 5. This course was too easy if you're an adult. But little kids really enjoy this one because all of them were incredibly simple. The course is very clean. There are covered parts to cool you off, but still plenty of out door spots. The traffic can be a bit loud when you're on the far holes but you barely notice. Parking lot was great. Price seems pretty comparable to other spots. read more

I do not understand the positive reviews for this mini golf course. It is a few bucks more expensive than most and is an unattractive course in an unattractive area. I have been to this course a handful of times throughout my yearly vacations to Myrtle Beach. Definitely one of the top courses in the area. As you can tell by the road, it's pretty intriguing. There's a lot of steps so if you don't do well with stairs this might not be the course for you. I love the views from the top, but my favorite is the final hole - a very long straight and narrow and if you get it in you win free golf for life there! Nice gift shop at the exit/entrance. I had a good time here. My boyfriend and I did both courses and the 19th hole. The holes were decently hard, but not much shade for when it's super hot. Overall I had a fun time, but it's not my favorite mini golf course. I'd suggest going here though. 14/person and you get both courses. read more

Really great, clean golf course. Each hole was different, clean, and quick to shoot. We had a party of 5 during the fourth weekend. even though it was fairly busy, the game moved pretty quickly. Just to be clear, if you're looking for an indoor mini golf place, only a few holes are actually inside. There was a decent amount of shade, and some breeze as you traveled up, but it was still very hot. You also need to walk up several flights of stairs, just FYI (we had a baby stroller so thankfully there was an elevator as well). Myrtle Beach has minature golf like Vegas has casinos; there is an unbelievable variety to choose from. Mt. Atlanticus is one of the more impressive in appearance. This being only my first mini golf game in MB, thus far, I can't compare Mt. Atlanticus to the others in town but, it certainly blows away most any other I've been to elsewhere. The place definitely looks like it's been around a while and has seen quite a bit of traffic in that time; a little sprucing up would be nice but, the courses are generally clean and in decent working condition. The goofy artwork throughout the interior sections depicts the mythology of Mt. Atlanticus in a very amusing way. Next time I won't lose my ball down the 20 foot waterfall after winning the game, but before reaching the bonus 19th hole so that I can try my hand at winning lifetime admission and getting my photo on the wall of fame. One thing I want to be sure to point out -- because I thought it was cool, and I noticed several people stating in their reviews that the courses weren't very challenging: at least on the Conch course, every hole features multiple cups, which allows the par to range from 2-4. If you look closely, there are circles in each putting green. Pulling at the "turf" of the circle reveals the cup below. Simply leave open the cup that you want to play, and cover the others. A small sign next to each tee points out the par for each cup position. read more

Minotaur Golf is my favorite mini golf on the beach! The course is so large and "challenging" with interesting holes at every turn. I like that the course takes you up and down and all around as you play! There are a bunch of restaurants surrounding so it's in a great location. read more

I guess I can't really give an accurate review because we ditched after the 2nd hole. Yeap, we paid $20 for the both of us and we left. Byee!! We went at 9pm on Friday night. Don't do it. Granted, we were warned that it would take almost 2 hours to complete the course because it was busy. I figured that wasn't that bad because it takes us about an hour to do 18 mini golf holes on a regular day. I guess it wouldn't have been that bad if there were interesting things to look at. There were random spots of green with several holes to practice your putt-putt but we probably would have lost our spot in line. So after waiting outside in the humidity and spiderwebs for 20 mins in a line that wouldn't budge, we got out of line, tried the 19th hole and failed miserably. We figured we'd get our money's worth and left the car in their parking garage and walked to the strip by the beach. By the time we walked the entire strip and walked back, the people that were in line in front of us at Mt. Atlantica were only at the 9th hole. Thanks, but no thanks. Ain't nobody got time for that! Tips: there are 2 courses that cover three "floors". There is a parking garage and a small lot but good luck finding a spot. 19th hole could win you mini golf for life. read more

This is a great spot for mini golf right in Myrtle Beach! There are two "routes" you can choose from (or do both!) - one has more "lagoon" holes and the other has more "cave" holes. We chose the first one and, with 4 adults, it took us about 45 minutes. The holes were a mixture of challenging and super easy (with a few of us scoring a hole in one a couple of times) but the real winner on this course are the views up top! As you trek upstairs through the course you can catch glimpses of the ocean and the city and, on a warm, breezy day, you just can't beat it! Cheesy? Yes. Fun? Hell yeah. Tip: Leave grandparents at home unless they're going to sit in the lobby and wait for you - too much stair climbing. read more

Google hours said 9am to 12am, so we arrived around 9pm with our families (9 adults and 1 child - we left the rest of the kids with a babysitter). At 10pm, while we were half way through the holes, they shut off the music, all of the waterfalls, and the torch on top of the golf course. (They didn't tell us when we arrived they were closing soon). My sister and brother went down to ask them what was going on, and they said they were closing and we could stay for one more hour before we had to leave. Around 10:15pm the manager came up and told us to hurry up our game and then stood next to our hole and watched us play, laughing at us, and he even followed us to the next hole. It was no longer fun after he stood there watching us. Our parents and our niece stopped playing because of him. They have no hours posted anywhere in their building other than they open at 9am. Their website doesn't work. The Google hours says 9am to 12am. Both people working at the mini golf course were very rude to us. Our dad said, "goodbye" when we left and the front desk lady ignored us. There were other people playing after 10pm, too, so we weren't the only ones. We chose Mt. Atlanticus because of the good Yelp reviews and because it looked so awesome at night with the waterfall and torch lit up. Inside it has tons of spiders and cobwebs, algae in the fountains, leaves on the course, and has terrible TERRIBLE customer service. Don't come here! read more

So we gave this place a try while we were in the area, and weren't to disappointed in the course at all. It was fun and enjoyable, but not overly challenging. Most of us scored a FEW holes in one, and none of us (even a little) are avid golf players. There's definitely a lot of walking, with stairs going up the course, and when completed, coming back down the course. While there is an elevator, may not be the most ideal for anyone with any type of handicap. This is true no matter which course you choose, which as other's have state there are two of (cave and lakes). We went later in the evening, about 8pm going on 9pm, and it was quite crowded. Enough where we were waiting for multiple families/groups in front of us to finish a hole before we could move forward... and another family/group (or two) on our tails as we went through each hole. With it being near the end of tourist season we expected a small crowd, but this was impressive in a way that we didn't really love. All in all we had a good experience here, not the best, but we did manage to enjoy ourselves and the course. read more

There weren't any windmills or gator mouths to putt through, but this was a fun place that our entire family enjoyed. Some of the holes were a little benign and the 'greens' were a bit patchworky, but it was still a blast for all of us. My 8-yr-old made a couple of authentic holes-in-one which kept her interested and trying to play her best. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They gave a great military discount of $6/person for all day. We ended up playing 36 holes (there are two 18-hole courses) and called it a day, but for $24 for the four of us, we were extremely grateful for them taking care of the military. There are some indoor holes, so even though it may be hot outside, you do get a break every so often. read more

I love Mt. Atlanticus! I also love to mini-golf, but I always have a really good time when I'm here! It's very beautiful, and I prefer the course that runs outside. It's built around and in an old parking garage which makes for an interesting layout. There are in fact a ton of stairs, but there is an elevator for handicapped visitors. We definitely plan on returning to Mt. Atlanticus next time we are in Myrtle Beach. I try every time we're there to make that last hole... but I supposed a lifetime of free golf won't do me much good in Charleston. Oh well... read more

I went with my family to play and we were pretty impressed. When you get there you get to choose between two courses. You start indoor and then go outside. We enjoyed the course, each hole having different obstacles. Only thing I would change is to have more fans out there. We chose this place based on the reviews and was not disappointed. The only complaint is the amount of stairs to get to some of the holes. This place is so quirky. Just look at the name. It's actually Minotaur Goff! we were tricked! we cruised up and down the strip in MB looking at all of the mini golf courses and went back to the one that looked the best from the outside. It's kind of like looking for the hottest girl in a strip club and then getting a dance from her later...just asking for disappointment. Pretty on the outside and empty on the inside. Inside, the course isn't that very inventive/fun. Pretty typical. The coolest thing about the course is on the 19th hole, if you get a hole in one, you get free lifetime membership and get your picture on the wall. After I missed, seeing pictures of 12 year olds who made the shot added salt to the wound. read more
