We did that twice through them, circa 2014. And, recently we were camping at Clackamas Lake for an Ultra-Trail Race in July, and we decided to rent a canoe on a whim at Timothy Lake. Once, we found out where the Outfitters were set up by the Dam, they were really easy to work with. We were able to run a credit card, and they provided life jackets- we were even able to take our doggo with us (who had a life jacket). And, the whole transaction took less than 5 minutes, and we were on the lake! It was really low key, and low pressure, and convienent. I will definitely be using this company in the future. I also would speculate some of the other reviews were for different look-alike-sound-alike company names, perhaps they were not Mt. Hood Outfitters. They are the perfect component to a great summer vacation day!

Tom (owner) was super helpful and quick to diagnose what the bike needed. He was able to get my ride back to me in a matter of days despite the fact that it needed a full overhaul. The Borrego now looks (and feels) brand new: clean, crisp and smooth. I would recommend this shop to anyone who needs quick turn around (it seems like everywhere else had month long waits OR MORE), and who likes their ride in tip-top shape.

The riding area is super well-maintained, with a great mix of features for all levels. Whether it was jumps, technical trails, or skills zones, there was always something new to try--and it was all set up in a way that felt challenging but safe. Yes, the cabins are a little rough around the edges and the food is just okay--but honestly, that's not why you come to Milepost 35. This place is all about the riding, the coaching, and the community. We'll be back every year until he ages out. Highly recommend.
