I was looking for a local place for an eye exam and contacts and WOW was I impressed with Mt Hood Eye Care. Scheduling an appointment online was a breeze. The front desk staff was very friendly and checked me in immediately. The office is tastefully decorated in a vintage style which makes the whole experience warm and inviting. Lastly and most importantly is how knowledgeable, kind, and truly wonderful Dr. Curttright was!! She performed a full exam and spent a lot of time with me dialing in my vision prescription. I left the visit with clearer vision and a new brand of contacts. Dr. Curttright is amazing! She got me in within an hour of me calling for an emergency eye issue on a busy Friday right at lunch time. I've had a chronic problem with corneal tearing for 3 years, and none of the other doctors I've been to could figure out what caused it. It flared up today, and Dr. Curttright figured it out within 5 minutes of starting her examination AND knew exactly who to refer me to for a permanent treatment/solution. She really knows her stuff. In addition, when I first arrived, I was in a great amount of pain and her office staff were all very warm and welcoming, talking with me as a distraction from the pain while the doctor finished with the prior client. 6 stars out 5, I'll be coming back for all of my eye care needs. read more

My wife recommended this vision center. Once again, she was right. I needed an exam right away because my glasses were damaged due to a car accident. They were very helpful in making the frame selection and quick and pain free during the exam process.
